1. உறுப்பு தான நடவடிக்கைகளில் தமிழகம் முதலிடம்

• முதலமைச்சரின் விரிவான மருத்துவ காப்பீட்டு திட்டம் மற்றும் பிரதமரின் ஆரோக்கிய திட்டத்தின் நான்காம் ஆண்டு நிறைவு விழா மற்றும் உறுப்பு மாற்று விழிப்புணர்வு தின நிகழ்ச்சி சென்னை அண்ணா சாலையில் உள்ள ஓமந்தூரார் பல்நோக்கு மருத்துவமனையில் நடைபெற்றது.
• அந்நிகழ்வை தொடக்கி வைத்து அமைச்சர் மா.சுப்பிரமணியன் பேசியதாவது:
• 2018 ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 23ஆம் தேதி முதல் மத்திய அரசின் பிரதமரின் மக்கள் ஆரோக்கியத் திட்டத்துடன் முதலமைச்சரின் விரிவான மருத்துவ காப்பீட்டு திட்டம் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்டு நான்கு ஆண்டுகள் நிறைவு பெற்றுள்ளன.
• தமிழக அரசின் மூளைச் சாவு உறுப்பு மாற்ற சிகிச்சை திட்டத்தை 2008 ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 5ஆம் தேதி அப்போதைய முதல்வர் கருணாநிதி தொடக்க வைத்தார்.
• 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 13ஆம் தேதி ‘விடியல்‘ என்னும் முழு தானியங்கி செயல்முறை அறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டு, இந்த தொழில்நுட்பத்தை பயன்படுத்தும் இந்தியாவின் முதல் மாநிலமாக தமிழகம் திகழ்கிறது.
• தானியங்கி செயலியின் மூலம் மே 2022 முதல் தற்போது வரை 67 உறுப்பு கொடையாளர்களின் 224 உறுப்புகள், இறுதிநிலை உறுப்பு செயலிழப்பு நோயாளிகளுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

1. ‘ஒரே நாடு, ஒரே இசை’ நூல் வெளியீடு

• பிரபல வயலின் இசை கலைஞர்கள் டாக்டர்.எம்.லலிதா, எம்.நந்தினி, ஹிந்துஸ்தானி இசை பாடகர் பண்டிட் இமான் தாஸ் இணைந்து ‘ஒரே நாடு, ஒரே இசை’ என்ற நூலை எழுதியுள்ளனர்.
• ‘ரீ இமேஜினிங் ஒன் நேஷன், ஒன் மியூசிக்‘ என்ற தலைப்பில் இவர்கள் எழுதியுள்ள நூல் முதலில் கொல்கத்தாவிலும், சமீபத்தில் பெங்களூருவிலும் வெளியிடப்பட்டது.
• ஷீபி பப்ளிகேஷன் வெளியீடான இந்த நூலை நாட்டின் முக்கிய நகரங்களில் வெளியிட்டு அறிமுகம் செய்யும் முயற்சியில் மூன்று கலைஞர்களும் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர்.

2. உலகின் சிறந்த பள்ளி பரிசுக்கான இறுதிப்போட்டியில் மகாராஷ்டிரா கிராம பள்ளி

• உலகின் சிறந்த பள்ளி பரிசுக்கான இறுதிப் போட்டியில் மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த கிராம பள்ளி இடம்பிடித்துள்ளது.
• பிரிட்டனைச் சேர்ந்த ‘டி 4 எஜுகேஷன்‘ அமைப்பு ஐந்து தலைப்புகளில் உலகின் சிறந்த பள்ளிகளை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து பரிசு வழங்கி வருகிறது.
• இந்த ஆண்டுக்கான போட்டியில் சமூக ஒத்துழைப்பு பிரிவில் மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலம் புனேயை அடுத்த போப்கேல் கிராமத்தில் உள்ள பிசிஎம்சி ஆங்கில மீடியம் பள்ளி இறுதி போட்டியில் இடம் பிடித்துள்ளது.
• பிசிஎம்சி பள்ளி, நிதி தேவையில் உள்ள பெற்றோருக்கு உதவுவதற்காக உள்ளூர் மருத்துவர்கள், கடைக்காரர்கள், மத தலைவர்கள் ஆகியோருடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றுகிறது.
• இந்த பள்ளி மருத்துவ பரிசோதனை திட்டத்தை தொடங்கியுள்ளது. ஆரோக்கியமான சரிவிகித உணவை குடும்பங்கள் பெறுவதற்காக மாஸ்டர் செஃப் எனப்படும் சமையல் வகுப்புகளையும் நடத்தி வருகிறது.
• இப்பள்ளியில் தினசரி பழங்களை சாப்பிடும் திட்டத்தில் மாணவர்கள் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
• ஒவ்வொரு வாரமும் அவர்களுக்கு சத்துணவு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
• இப்பள்ளி அறிமுகம் செய்த சத்துணவு திட்டத்தை பெற்றோர்கள் தங்கள் வீடுகளில் தொடங்கியுள்ளனர் என்று டி 4 எஜுகேஷன் அமைப்பு கூறியுள்ளது.
• இந்த அமைப்பு சமூக ஒத்துழைப்பு, சுற்றுச்சூழல் நடவடிக்கை, புத்தாக்கம், எதிர்ப்புகளை சமாளிப்பது, ஆரோக்கிய வாழ்வை ஆதரித்தல் ஆகிய ஐந்து தலைப்புகளில் சிறந்த பள்ளிகளை தேர்வு செய்து பரிசளித்து வருகிறது.
• சமூக ஒத்துழைப்புக்கான போட்டி பிரிவில் இறுதிப் போட்டியில் மூன்று பள்ளிகளில் ஒன்றாக பிசிஎம்சி பள்ளி இடம் பிடித்துள்ளது.

3. ஹாக்கி அமைப்பின் தலைவர்

• இந்திய ஹாக்கி அமைப்பின் தலைவராக, தேசிய அணி முன்னாள் கேப்டன் திலீப் திர்கி போட்டி இன்றி தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார்.

4. ஜி4 நாடுகள்

• ஐ.நா அமைப்புகளின் செயல்பாடுகளில் வெளிப்படை தன்மை இல்லாதது அவற்றின் சீர்திருத்தத்துக்கு தடையாக இருப்பதாக இந்தியா, பிரேசில், ஜெர்மனி, ஜப்பான் ஆகிய நாடுகளைக் கொண்ட ஜீ 4 கூட்டமைப்பு குற்றம் சாட்டியுள்ளது.
• நான்கு கூட்டமைப்பின் வெளியுறவு அமைச்சர்கள் பங்கேற்ற கூட்டம் அமெரிக்காவில் நடைபெற்றது.
• இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் வெளியிடப்பட்ட கூட்டறிக்கையில் ஐ.நா பாதுகாப்பு கவுன்சிலின் நிரந்தரமற்ற உறுப்பு நாடுகளாக இந்தியாவும் (2021-22) பிரேசிலும் (2022-23) சிறப்பாக செயல்பட்டு வருகின்றன.
• ஐ.நா பாதுகாப்பு கவுன்சிலில் பிரிக்ஸ் கூட்டமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்த 4 நாடுகள் (ரஷ்யா, சீனா மற்ற நாடுகள்) ஒரே சமயத்தில் இடம்பெற்று இருப்பது சர்வதேச அமைதி சார்ந்த நடவடிக்கைகளில் ஒருங்கிணைந்து முடிவுகளை மேற்கொள்வதற்கு வழிவகுக்கிறது.

5. ஆங்கில நாவலாசிரியை ஹிலாரி மாண்ட்டல் மறைவு

• புகழ்பெற்ற ஆங்கில எழுத்தாளரும், இரு முறை புக்கர் பரிசை வென்ற முதல் பெண்ணுமான ஹிலாரி மாண்ட்டல் காலமானார். 
• ‘உல்ஃப் ஹால்‘ என்ற புதினம் கடந்த 2009 ஆம் ஆண்டும் ‘பிரிங் ஆஃப் தி பாடிஸ்‘ என்ற அவரின் மற்றொரு நாவல் கடந்த 2012 ஆம் ஆண்டும் புக்கர் பரிசு பெற்றன.
• அவருடைய உல்ஃப் ஹால் இதுவரை 41 மொழிகளில் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்டு 50 லட்சத்திற்கும் அதிகமான பிரதிகள் உலக அளவில் விற்பனையாகியுள்ளது.
• தொலைக்காட்சி தொடராக தயாரிக்கப்பட்டு பெரும் பாராட்டை பெற்றது.

6. முன்னாள் ராணுவத்தினரின் வாரிசுகளுக்கு கல்வி உதவித்தொகை உயர்வு

• முன்னாள் ராணுவ வீரர் நலனுக்காக திரட்டப்பட்ட நிதி தொடர்பான மாநில நிர்வாக குழு கூட்டம் ஆளுநர் மாளிகையில் நடைபெற்றது.
• ஆளுநர் ஆர்.என்.ரவி தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்த கூட்டத்தில் பல்வேறு முடிவுகள் எடுக்கப்பட்டன.
• கடந்த 2014-15 ஆம் ஆண்டு நிதியாண்டு முதல் 2021-22 ஆம் நிதியாண்டு வரையில் முன்னாள் ராணுவ வீரர் நலனுக்காக திரட்டப்பட்ட நிதி செலவிடப்பட்ட விவரங்கள் குறித்து விவாதிக்கப்பட்டது.
• தொகைகள் உயர்வு:
• போர்களில் உயிர்நீத்த வீரர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் நிவாரண நிதி ரூபாய் ஒரு லட்சத்திலிருந்து ரூபாய் 2 லட்சம் ஆகவும், போரால் மாற்றுத்திறனாளியாக மாறியவருக்கு நலநிதி தொகை ரூபாய் 50 ஆயிரத்தில் இருந்து ரூபாய் ஒரு லட்சமாகவும் உயர்த்தி வழங்க முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• முன்னாள் படை வீரர்கள் உயிர் நீத்த ராணுவ வீரர்களின் வாரிசுகளுக்கு கல்வி உதவி மானியம் வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
• இந்த மானிய தொகை உயர்த்தி வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
• அதன்படி ஒன்று முதல் ஐந்தாம் வகுப்பு வரை படிப்போருக்கு ரூபாய் 500 லிருந்து ரூபாய் 2000-மும், ஆறிலிருந்து எட்டாம் வகுப்பு வரை படிப்போருக்கு ரூபாய் 800-ல் இருந்து ரூபாய் 4000 ஆகவும் மானியம் உயர்த்தப்படுகிறது.
• மேலும் ஒன்பது முதல் பத்தாம் வகுப்பு வரை பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு மானிய தொகை ஆயிரம் ரூபாயிலிருந்து ₹5000 ஆகவும், பிளஸ் ஒன் மற்றும் பிளஸ் டூ படிக்கும் மாணவர்களுக்கு ரூபாய் 1500 லிருந்து ரூபாய் 6000 ஆகவும் மானிய தொகை உயர்த்தப்படுகிறது.
• ஐஐடி, ஐஐஎம் போன்ற உயர்கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் படிக்கும் முன்னாள் ராணுவ வீரர்களின் வாரிசுகளுக்கு ஆண்டு ஊக்கத்தொகையாக ரூபாய் 50,000 அளிக்கப்படும்.
• ராணுவ பள்ளிகளில் படிக்கும் குழந்தைகளின் குடும்பத்திற்கு ஆண்டுக்கு ரூபாய் 25,000 ஊக்கத்தொகை வழங்கப்படும்.

7. பஞ்சாப் அரசுக்கு ரூபாய் 2000 கோடி அபராதம்

• திட மற்றும் திரவ கல்வி மேலாண்மையை சரிவர மேற்கொள்ளாத பஞ்சாப் மாநில அரசுக்கு தேசிய பசுமை தீர்ப்பாயம் ரூபாய் 2000 கோடி அபராதம் விதித்து உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது.
• தேசிய பசுமை தீர்ப்பாயத் தலைவர் ஏ.கே.கோயல்.
• திட மற்றும் திரவக்கழிவு மேலாண்மையை சரிவர மேற்கொள்ளாத மாநில அரசுக்கு ரூபாய் 2180 கோடி அபராதம் விதிக்கப்படுகிறது.
• இதில் கழிவு நீர் மற்றும் திடக்கழிவை சுத்திகரிக்காமல் வெளியிடப்படுவதை தடுக்க தவறியதற்காக மாநில அரசு சார்பில் ஏற்கனவே தீர்ப்பாயத்தில் ரூபாய் 100 கோடி வைப்பு வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• எனவே எஞ்சிய ரூபாய் 2080 கோடி அபராதத்தை அடுத்த இரண்டு மாதங்களுக்குள் தனி வங்கி கணக்கில் மாநில அரசு வரவு வைக்க வேண்டும் என்று  உத்தரவிட்டது.
• நகராட்சி திடக்கழிவு மேலாண்மை சட்டம் 2016 இன் கீழ் மாநிலம் மற்றும் யூனியன் பிரதேச சுற்றுச்சூழல் விவரங்களை தேசிய பசுமை தீர்ப்பாயம் கண்காணித்து வருகிறது.

1. Tamil Nadu tops in organ donation activities

• Fourth Anniversary of Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Medical Insurance Scheme and Prime Minister’s Health Scheme and Organ Transplant Awareness Day program was held at Omanturar Multipurpose Hospital, Anna Road, Chennai.
• Inaugurating the event, Minister M. Subramanian said:
• It has been four years since 23rd September 2018 that the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme was integrated with the Prime Minister’s People’s Health Scheme.
• Tamil Nadu Government’s Brain Dead Organ Transplantation Program was inaugurated on 5th September 2008 by then Chief Minister Karunanidhi.
• On August 13, 2021, Tamil Nadu will become the first state in India to use this technology by introducing a fully automated process called ‘Vidiyal’.
• From May 2022 till date 224 organs from 67 organ donors have been donated to end stage organ failure patients through automated system.

1. Publication of ‘One Country, One Music’ book

• Famous violinists Dr.M.Lalitha, M.Nandini, Hindustani music singer Pandit Iman Das jointly wrote the book ‘Ore Nadu, Ore Music’.
• The book titled ‘Reimagining One Nation, One Music’ was first published in Kolkata and recently in Bengaluru.
• The three artists are involved in the effort to publish and introduce this book published by Shebi Publication in major cities of the country.

2. Maharashtra in the finals for World’s Best School Prize  Village school

• A village school from Maharashtra has made it to the finals for the World’s Best School Award.
• UK-based organization ‘T4 Education’ selects the world’s best schools in five categories and gives prizes.
• In this year’s competition, in the social cooperation category, PCMC English Medium School in Bhopkhel village, near Pune, Maharashtra, has made it to the finals.
• PCMC School works with local doctors, shopkeepers, religious leaders to help parents in financial need.
• This school has started a clinical trial program. It also conducts cooking classes called MasterChef to help families get a healthy balanced diet.
• Students are included in the daily fruit eating program in this school.
• They are fed every week.
• T4 Education said that parents have started the nutrition program introduced by this school in their homes.
• The organization selects and awards the best schools in five themes: social cooperation, environmental action, innovation, overcoming resistance and supporting healthy living.
• PCMC School has been placed as one of the three schools in the finals in the Competition category for Community Cooperation.

3. President of the Hockey Organization

• Former national team captain Dilip Tirgi was elected unopposed as the President of Hockey India.

4. G4 countries

• The G4 alliance comprising India, Brazil, Germany and Japan has blamed the lack of transparency in the functioning of the UN bodies as an obstacle to their reform.
• Meeting of foreign ministers of four federations was held in USA.
• India (2021-22) and Brazil (2022-23) are performing well as non-permanent members of the UN Security Council in a joint statement issued at this meeting.
• The presence of 4 BRICS countries (Russia, China and other countries) in the UN Security Council at the same time leads to coordinated decisions on international peace-related activities.

5. Death of English novelist Hilary Mantal

• Hilary Mantel, the famous English author and the first woman to win the Booker Prize twice, has passed away.
• His novel ‘Wolf Hall’ won the Booker Prize in 2009 and ‘Bring of the Bodies’ in 2012.
• His Wolf Hall has so far been translated into 41 languages ​​and has sold more than 50 lakh copies worldwide.
• It was made into a television series and received great acclaim.

6. Increase in education stipend for descendants of ex-servicemen

• A meeting of the State Executive Committee regarding the fund raised for the welfare of ex-servicemen was held at the Governor’s House.
• Various decisions were taken in this meeting chaired by Governor RN Ravi.
• The details of the expenditure of funds raised for the welfare of ex-servicemen from the last financial year 2014-15 to the financial year 2021-22 were discussed.
• Increase in Amounts:
• It has been decided to increase the relief fund given to soldiers who lost their lives in wars from Rs.1 lakh to Rs.2 lakh and welfare fund for those who became disabled due to war from Rs.50 thousand to Rs.1 lakh.
• Educational assistance grant is being given to the heirs of ex-servicemen who have lost their lives. This grant amount is increased.
• Accordingly, the subsidy has been increased from Rs.500 to Rs.2000 for students of class I to V and from Rs.800 to Rs.4000 for students of class VI to VIII.
• Also, the subsidy amount is increased from Rs.1,000 to ₹5,000 for students studying in ninth to tenth standard and from Rs.1,500 to Rs.6,000 for students studying in Plus One and Plus Two.
• An annual incentive of Rs 50,000 will be given to the heirs of ex-servicemen studying in higher education institutes like IIT, IIM etc.
• An annual incentive of Rs 25,000 will be given to the families of children studying in military schools.

7. Penalty of Rs 2000 Crores to Punjab Govt

• The National Green Tribunal has imposed a fine of Rs 2000 crore on the Punjab state government for not properly managing solid and liquid education.

• A penalty of Rs 2180 crore is levied on the state government for not properly managing solid and liquid waste.
• The state government has already deposited Rs 100 crore in the tribunal for failing to prevent the release of untreated waste water and solid waste.
• So the state government directed that the remaining Rs 2080 crore penalty should be credited to a separate bank account within the next two months.
• National Green Tribunal is monitoring state and union territory environmental profile under Municipal Solid Waste Management Act 2016.
