 1. தேசிய இந்திய தீப்பெட்டி உற்பத்தியாளர்களுக்கான மாநாடு 

• தேசிய இந்திய தீப்பெட்டி உற்பத்தியாளர்களுக்கான இரு நாள் மாநாடு தில்லி சூரஜ்குண்ட்டில் நடைபெற்றது. 
• தீப்பெட்டி உற்பத்தித் தொழிலுக்கு ஜிஎஸ்டி (சரக்கு மற்றும்சேவை வரி) 18 சதவீதமாக இருந்தது. இந்த வரி 12 சதவீதமாகக் குறைக்கப்பட்டது. 
• இதையொட்டி, தேசிய தீப்பெட்டிஉற்பத்தியாளர்கள் சங்கம் சார்பில் நடைபெற்ற பாராட்டு விழாவில் மத்திய நிதியமைச்சர் நிர்மலா சீதாராமன் கலந்து கொண்டு பேசினார்.  

• அப்போது அவர் கூறியதாவது: உலக அளவில் நூறு தீப்பெட்டிகள் இருந்தால் அதில் 30 சிவகாசி மற்றும் அதை சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளில் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டவையாக இருக்கும். 
• சங்கத் தலைவர் பரமசிவம் வரவேற்றுப் பேசுகையில், ‘இந்திய தீப்பெட்டித் தொழிலுக்கு மற்றொரு சவாலாக சீனாவிலிருந்து இறக்குமதி செய்யப்படும் லைட்டர்கள் வந்துள்ளன.  
• சீனாவில் ரூ.5-க்கு கிடைக்கும் இந்த லைட்டர்கள் ஒரு ரூபாய் (ரூ.1) இன்வாய்ஸுடன் வரி ஏய்ப்புடன் இறக்குமதி செய்யப்படுவதோடு, ஒரு லைட்டர் 30 தீப்பெட்டிகளின் உற்பத்தியை அழித்துவிடும் நிலையை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது.  
• இதற்குத் தடைவிதிக்க மத்திய வர்த்தக அமைச்சரிடம் கோரிக்கை வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது என்றார். 

இந்திய செய்திகள் 

 1. உலகின் மொத்த மக்கள்தொகை 800 கோடியை எட்டியது. 

• உலகின் ஒட்டு மொத்த மக்கள்தொகை (நவ.15) 800 கோடியை எட்டியது. கடந்த 12 ஆண்டுகளில் மட்டும் மக்கள்தொகை 100 கோடி அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 

• உலக நாடுகளில் வசித்து வரும் ஒட்டு மொத்த மக்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 800 கோடியை எட்டியுள்ளதாக ஐ.நா. மக்கள்தொகை நிதி அமைப்பு (யுஎன்எஃப்பிஏ) தெரிவித்துள்ளது. 
• உலக மக்கள்தொகை 2037–ஆம் ஆண்டில் 900 கோடியையும், 2058–ஆம் ஆண்டில் 1,000 கோடியையும் எட்டும் என ஐ.நா. அறிக்கையில் கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• 2022-ஆம் ஆண்டு நிலவரப்படி, உலக மக்கள்தொகையில் 142.6 கோடி பேரைக் கொண்டு சீனா முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது.  
• இந்தியா 141.2 கோடி மக்கள்தொகையுடன் இரண்டாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது.  
• 2023-ஆம் ஆண்டில் சீனாவைப் பின்னுக்குத் தள்ளி உலகின் பெரும் மக்கள்தொகை கொண்ட நாடாக இந்தியா மாறும் என ஐ.நா. தெரிவித்துள்ளது.  

• அதே வேளையில், இந்தியாவில் மக்கள்தொகை வளர்ச்சி விகிதம் குறைந்து வருவதாகவும் ஐ.நா. தெரிவித்துள்ளது. 
• இந்தியாவில் சராசரி கருவுருதல் விகிதம் 2.2-லிருந்து 2-ஆக குறைந்துள்ளது. நாட்டில் உள்ள 31 மாநிலங்கள் மற்றும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்கள் நிலையான கருவுருதல் விகிதமான 2.1 என்ற நிலையை அடைந்துள்ளதாக ஐ.நா. அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.  
• நவீன குடும்ப கட்டுப்பாட்டு நடைமுறைகளே இந்தியாவில் கருவுருதல் விகிதம் குறைந்ததற்கான முக்கியக் காரணமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 2. பழங்குடி இனத்தவர் கௌரவ தினம் 

• பழங்குடி இனத்தைச் சேர்ந்த சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரர் பிர்சா முண்டாவின் பிறந்த தினமான நவ. 15-ஆம் தேதி ‘பழங்குடி இனத்தவர் கௌரவ தினம்‘ கொண்டாடப்படும் என்று மத்திய அரசு கடந்த ஆண்டு அறிவித்தது.  
• அதன்படி மத்திய பிரதேசத்தின் ஷாடோல் மாவட்டத்தில் பழங்குடி இனத்தவர் கௌரவ தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.  
• பிரிட்டிஷ் ஆட்சிக் காலத்தில் வனப்பகுதிகளைப் பாதுகாக்க பழங்குடி இனத்தவர் போராடினர். இதற்காக அவர்கள் உயிர்த்தியாகமும் செய்தனர். 
• பழங்குடி இனத்தவர் நலனுக்காக முன்னாள் பிரதமர் வாஜ்பாய் தனி அமைச்சகத்தை உருவாக்கினார். நாட்டில் உள்ள பழங்குடி இனப்பகுதிகளின் மேம்பாட்டுக்கு இது முக்கியப்பங்காற்றி வருகிறது.

   2. Tribal Dignity Day 

• Birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda on Nov. Last year, the central government had announced that the ‘Tribal Dignity Day’ would be celebrated on the 15th.
