1. சூப்பர் ஹிட் காப் திட்டம்
- சென்னையில் சாலை பாதுகாப்பு விதிமுறைகளை கண்காணிக்கும் வகையில் ‘சூப்பர் கிட் காப்’ என்ற திட்டம் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்காக பெருநகர காவல் ஆணையர் சங்கர் ஜிவால் செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை தொடக்கி வைத்தார்.
- சென்னை பெருநகர காவல் துறையின் போக்குவரத்து பிரிவு, தமிழ்நாடு போக்குவரத்து பாதுகாவலர்கள் அமைப்பு இணைந்து சென்னை சாலை பாதுகாப்பு விதிமுறைகள் முறையாக கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது என்பதை 1 முதல் ஏழாம் வகுப்பு குழந்தைகள் மூலம் கண்காணிக்கும் ‘சூப்பர் கிட் காப்’ என்ற புதிய திட்டத்தை செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை தொடங்கின.

1. மாலத்தீவுகள் ஒப்பந்தங்கள்
- இருதரப்பு நல்லுறவை மேம்படுத்தும் வகையில் பல்வேறு துறைகளில் இந்தியாவுக்கும் மாலத்தீவுகளுக்கும் இடையே ஆறு ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையொப்பம் ஆகின.
- திறன் மேம்பாடு, இணைய வழி குற்றத்தடுப்பு, வீட்டு வசதி, பேரிடர் மேலாண்மை, கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகள் மேம்பாடு ஆகிய துறைகள் சார்ந்த ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையொப்பம் ஆகின.

- போக்குவரத்து திட்டத்துக்கான பணிகளை தலைவர்கள் இருவரும் காணொளி வாயிலாக தொடக்கி வைத்தனர்.
- இந்திய நிதி உதவியுடன் நிறைவேற்றப்பட உள்ள அத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் தலைநகர் மாலி அமைந்துள்ள தீவையும் அருகில் உள்ள விலிங்லி, குல்ஹிஃபல்கு,தைலஃபுஷி ஆகிய தீவுகளையும் இணைக்கும் வகையில் 6.74 கிலோ மீட்டர் நீளபாலம் அமைக்கப்படவுள்ளது.
- மாலத்தீவுகள் தலைநகர் மாலியில் 4000 சமூக வீடுகள் கட்டுவதற்கான திட்டத்திற்கு நிதி உதவியை இந்தியா வழங்க உள்ளது.
- மாலத்தீவுகளின் பாதுகாப்பை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் அந்நாட்டு ராணுவப் படைகளுக்கு 24 வாகனங்களையும் ஒரு கடற்படை கப்பலையும் இந்தியா வழங்க உள்ளது.
- நிகர கரியமல வாயு வெளியேற்ற அளவை 2030ம் ஆண்டுக்குள் பூஜ்ஜியத்துக்கு கொண்டுவர மாலத்தீவுகள் இலக்கு நிர்ணயத்தில் உள்ளது.
- அந்த இலக்கை அடைய தேவையான உதவிகளை இந்தியா வழங்கும் என்றார் பிரதமர் மோடி.

2. யூபிஐ பரிவர்த்தனைகள்
- இதுவரை இல்லாத அளவில் ஜூலை மாதத்தில் 600 கோடி யூபிஐ பரிவர்த்தனைகள் நடைபெற்றுள்ளதற்கு பிரதமர் மோடி பாராட்டு தெரிவித்துள்ளார்
3. பண வீக்கத்தை கட்டுப்படுத்த நடவடிக்கை
- நாட்டில் சில்லறை பணவீக்கம் 7 சதவீதம் உள்ளதாகவும் இதனை கட்டுப்படுத்த மத்திய அரசு நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொண்டு வருவதாகவும் நிதி அமைச்சர் நிர்மலா சீதாராமன் மாநிலங்களவையில் செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை தெரிவித்தார்.
- அத்தியாவசிய பொருள்களுக்கு ஜிஎஸ்டி இல்லை:
- ஜிஎஸ்டி அமலுக்கு வருவதற்கு முன்பாக பருப்பு மாவு தயிர் பன்னீர் போன்ற அத்தியாவசிய பொருள்களுக்கு அனைத்து மாநிலங்களும் வரி விதித்தன.
- ஆனால் ஏழைகள் பயன்படுத்தும் இந்தப் பொருட்களுக்கு ஜிஎஸ்டி கவுன்சில் வரி விதிக்கவில்லை.
- வங்கிகளில் வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு எடுக்கும் பணத்துக்கும் காசோலை புத்தகத்துக்கும் ஜிஎஸ்டி விதிக்கப்படவில்லை.
- மேலும் இடுகாடு கட்டுமானத்துக்கு தான் ஜிஎஸ்டி விதிக்கப்பட்டதே தவிர இடுகாட்டுக்கு அல்ல.
- இதே போல மருத்துவமனை படுக்கைகளுக்கும் அவசர சிகிச்சை பிரிவு பிரிவுக்கும் ஜிஎஸ்டி விதிக்கப்படவில்லை.
- மாறாக நாளொன்றுக்கு 5000 வாடகை வசூலிக்கப்படும் அறைக்குத்தான் வரி விதிக்கப்படுகிறது என்றார்.
4. வன உயிரினங்கள் பாதுகாப்பு திருத்தம் மசோதா
- வன உயிரினங்கள் பாதுகாப்பு திருத்த மசோதா 2021 மக்களவையில் செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.
- பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட வனப் பகுதிகளை மேலும் சிறப்பாக நிர்வகித்தல், கால்நடைகள் மேய்ச்சல் போன்ற சில அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு விளக்கம் அளித்தல் உள்ளிட்ட அம்சங்களை வன உயிரிகள் பாதுகாப்பு திருத்த மசோதா கொண்டுள்ளது.

1. Super hit cop program
- Metropolitan Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal on Tuesday launched a program called ‘Super Kid Cop’ for school students to monitor road safety norms in Chennai.

1. Maldives Agreements
- Six agreements were signed between India and Maldives in various fields to enhance bilateral relations.
- Sectoral contracts were awarded for capacity building, cybercrime prevention, housing, disaster management, and infrastructure development.
- Greater Mali Project:
- Both the leaders started the work on the transport project through video.
- A 6.74 km long bridge will be constructed to connect the island where the capital Mali is situated and the nearby islands of Willingli, Kulhifalku, and Tailafushi under the project to be implemented with the help of Indian funds.
- India to provide financial assistance to a project to build 4000 social houses in the capital city of Maldives.
- India is going to provide 24 vehicles and a naval vessel to the Maldivian army to ensure its security.
- The Maldives is on target to reduce its net carbon emissions to zero by 2030.
- Prime Minister Modi said that India will provide the necessary assistance to achieve that goal.

3. Measures to control inflation
- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that retail inflation in the country is 7 percent and the central government is taking steps to control it.
- No GST on essential items:
- Before GST came into force all states imposed a tax on essential items like dal flour curd paneer.
- But the GST Council has not to objected to tax on these goods used by the poor.
- GST is not in the cemetery on customer withdrawals and checkbooks in banks and GST is levied only on the construction of the building and not on the building itself.
- Similarly, GST is not levied on hospital beds and emergency department units.
- On the contrary, he said that the tax is levied only on the room where the rent is charged at Rs.5000 per day.
4. Wildlife Conservation Amendment Bill
- The Wildlife Conservation Amendment Bill 2021 was passed in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
