• இன்று நாசாவின் பீனிக்ஸ் விண்கலம் செவ்வாய் கோளுக்கு (2007) அனுப்பப்பட்டது.  

• மொழியியல் துறையில் உலக அளவில் புகழ்பெற்ற தமிழறிஞர் ச. அகத்தியலிங்கம் (2008) நினைவு தினம். 

மாநில செய்திகள் 

1. இன்னுயிர் காப்போம் 

• இன்னுயிர் காப்போம் நம்மை காக்கும் 48 திட்டம் மூலம் பயனடைந்தவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை ஒரு லட்சத்தை கடந்துள்ளதாக மக்கள் நல்வாழ்வுத்துறை அமைச்சர் மா சுப்பிரமணியன் தெரிவித்தார். 
• இத்திட்டத்தை 2021 டிசம்பர் 18ல் முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் தொடக்கி வைத்தார். 
• சாலை விபத்தினால் நிகழும் இறப்புகள் அதனால் நிகழும் குடும்பங்களின் மருத்துவ செலவை குறைப்பது தான் அதன் நோக்கம் அதன்படி சாலை விபத்தால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு விபத்து நிகழ்ந்த முதல் 48 மணி நேர நெருக்கடியான காலகட்டத்தில் முழு சிகிச்சை வழங்க தேவையான நிதி வழங்குவதை உறுதி செய்வதாகும். 
• விபத்தில் பாதிக்கப்படும் நபருக்கு அதிகபட்சமாக ஒரு லட்சம் வரை சிகிச்சைக்காக வழங்கப்படுகிறது.  
• விபத்தில் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவரை உடனடியாக மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்க்கும் நபருக்கு ரூபாய் ஐந்தாயிரம் ஊக்கத்தொகை அரசால் கொடுக்கப்படுகிறது. 

மத்திய செய்திகள் 

1. மத்திய ஊழல் கண்காணிப்பு புதிய ஆணையர்  

• ஊழல் கண்காணிப்பு ஆணையர் சுரேஷ் என் படேல் மத்திய ஊழல் கண்காணிப்பு ஆணையராக புதன்கிழமை நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.  

• குடியரசுத் தலைவர் திரௌபதி முர்மு அவருக்கு மத்திய ஊழல் கண்காணிப்பு ஆணையராக பதவி பிரமாணம் செய்து வைத்தார்.  
• புதிய ஆணையர்கள் நியமனம்: 
• மத்திய ஊழல் கண்காணிப்பு ஆணையர் தலைமையில் செயல்படும் மத்திய ஊழல் கண்காணிப்பு ஆணையரகத்தில் இரண்டு ஊழல் கண்காணிப்பு ஆணையர்கள் இடம் பெற்றிருப்பர்.  
• இந்த இரண்டு இடங்களும் காலியாக இருந்து வந்தது. இந்த நிலையில் முன்னாள் உளவுப் பிரிவு (ஐபி) தலைவர் அரவிந்த் குமார் மற்றும் முன்னாள் ஐஏஎஸ் அதிகாரி பிரவீன் குமார், ஸ்ரீவாஷ்தவா ஆகிய இருவரும் புதிய ஊழல் கண்காணிப்பு ஆணையர்களாக புதன்கிழமை நியமிக்கப்பட்டனர்.  
• இவர்கள் இருவருக்கும் மத்தியில் ஊழல் கண்காணிப்பு ஆணையராக பதவி ஏற்ற சுரேஷ் என் படேல் பதவிப்பிரமாணம் செய்து வைத்தார். 

2. ஆயில் இந்தியா தலைவராக பொறுப்பேற்பு  

• பொதுத்துறையைச் சேர்ந்த இரண்டாவது பெரிய எண்ணெய் மற்றும் எரிவாயு உற்பத்தி நிறுவனமான ஆயில் இந்தியாவின் தலைவராக ரஞ்சித் ராத் பொறுப்பேற்றுக் கொண்டுள்ளார்.  
• ஆயில் இந்தியா நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவராக செயல்பட்டு வந்த சுசில் சந்திரா ஜூன் 30-ஆம் தேதியுடன் ஓய்வு பெறுகிறார். 

3. விரைவில், ஆப் அடிப்படையிலான பேருந்து சேவை  

• தனிப்பட்ட வாகனங்களில் இருந்து பொதுப் போக்குவரத்திற்கு மாறுவதற்கு பயணிகளை ஊக்குவிக்கும் நோக்கில், டெல்லி அரசு தேசிய தலைநகர் பிராந்தியத்தில் பிரீமியம் பேருந்து சேவையை அறிமுகப்படுத்த திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.  
• அனைத்து பேருந்துகளும் BS-VI புகார், குளிரூட்டப்பட்ட, CNG அல்லது மின்சாரம், இருக்கைகள் மட்டும், பயன்பாட்டு ஆதரவு, CCTVகள் மற்றும் அவசரகால பொத்தான்கள் ஆகியவற்றைக் கொண்டிருக்கும், மேலும் சவாரிகளை முன்பதிவு செய்வதற்கும் டிஜிட்டல் பணம் செலுத்துவதற்கும் ‘ஒன் டெல்லி ஆப்’  உடன் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்படும். 
• டெல்லி முதல்வர் அரவிந்த் கெஜ்ரிவால் 

4. தீவிரவாதத்திற்கு எதிரான UNSC கூட்டத்தை இந்தியா நடத்த உள்ளது 

• முதன்முறையாக, இந்தியா, சீனா, ரஷ்யா மற்றும் அமெரிக்கா உட்பட ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் பாதுகாப்பு கவுன்சிலின் 15 நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த தூதர்கள் மற்றும் அதிகாரிகளை பயங்கரவாதம் குறித்த சிறப்புக் கூட்டம், டெல்லி மற்றும் மும்பையில் அக்டோபரில் நடத்தவுள்ளது.  
• UNSC இன் உறுப்பினராக 2022 இல் இந்தியா தலைமை வகிக்கும் பயங்கரவாத எதிர்ப்புக் குழுவின் (CTC) கூட்டம், குறிப்பாக பயங்கரவாதத்திற்கு நிதியளித்தல், இணைய அச்சுறுத்தல்கள் மற்றும் ட்ரோன்களின் பயன்பாடு போன்ற சவால்கள் குறித்து கவனம் செலுத்தும். 

5. மத்தியப் பிரதேசம் சூரிய சக்தியில் தன்னிறைவை நோக்கி முன்னேறி வருகிறது 

• உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய 600 மெகாவாட் ஓம்காரேஷ்வர் மிதக்கும் சூரிய ஒளி திட்ட ஒப்பந்தத்தில் கையெழுத்திடும் விழா 
• ஓம்காரேஷ்வர் திட்டங்களின் பலன்கள் 
• இந்தத் திட்டம் மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தில் ரூ.3500 கோடி முதலீட்டை ஈர்க்கும் விவசாயம்/இதர தொழில்களுக்கு மதிப்புள்ள சுமார் 1200 ஹெக்டேர் நிலம் மற்றும் 36000kl  நிலத்தடி நீர் சேமிக்கப்படும். 
• 60 முதல் 70 சதவீதம் தண்ணீர் ஆவியாகாமல் தடுக்கப்படும். 
• கட்டுமான காலத்தில் சுமார் 2000 பேருக்கு நேரடி மற்றும் மறைமுக வேலைவாய்ப்பு. 

• 12 லட்சம் மெட்ரிக் டன்கள் குறைவான கார்பன் வெளியேற்றம் 
• மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தில் மற்ற சூரிய ஒளி திட்டங்கள் 
• ரேவா சோலார் பார்க்: 750 மெகாவாட் (அமைக்கப்பட்டது)

விளையாட்டு செய்திகள் 

1. பாட்மின்டனில் இந்திய கலப்பு அணிக்கு வெள்ளி  

• காமன்வெல்த் பாட்மின்டனில் கலப்பு அணிகள் பிரிவில் இந்தியாவுக்கு வெள்ளிப் பதக்கம் கிடைத்தது.  
• நடப்பு சாம்பியனாக போட்டிக்கு வந்த இந்தியா இறுதிச்சுற்று 1-3 என்ற கணக்கில் மலேசியாவிடம் தோல்வி கண்டது. 
• லவ் பிரீத்துக்கு வெண்கலம்:  

• பளு தூக்குதலில் ஆடவருக்கான 109 கிலோ எடை பிரிவில் இந்தியாவின் லவ் பிரீத் சிங் வெண்கல பதக்கம் வென்றார்.

State news 

1. Innuiur Kaappom  

• People’s Welfare Minister Ma Subramanian said that the number of people who have benefited from the 48 scheme of Innuiur Kaappom-Nammai kaakum 48 has crossed one lakh. 

• This scheme was launched by Chief Minister M. K. Stalin on 18 December 2021. 
• Its objective is to reduce the medical cost of the families of road accident deaths and thus ensure that funds are provided for full treatment of road accident victims during the critical period of 48 hours after the accident. 
• A maximum of one lakh is provided for the treatment of the accident victim. 
• An incentive of rupees five thousand is given by the government to the person who admits the accident victim to the hospital immediately. 

Central News 

1. New Commissioner of Central Corruption Vigilance 

• Corruption Vigilance Commissioner Suresh N Patel was appointed as Central Corruption Vigilance Commissioner on Wednesday. 
• President Draupadi Murmu administered oath to him as Central Corruption Vigilance Commissioner. 

• APPOINTMENT OF NEW COMMISSIONERS: 
• The Central Corruption Vigilance Commissioner headed by the Central Corruption Vigilance Commissioner will have two Corruption Vigilance Commissioners. 
• Both these seats remained vacant. Meanwhile, former Intelligence Bureau (IP) chief Arvind Kumar and former IAS officers Praveen Kumar and Srivastava were appointed as the new Corruption Vigilance Commissioners on Wednesday. 
• Between these two, Suresh N Patel was sworn in as the Corruption Vigilance Commissioner. 

2. Take over as Chairman of Oil India 

• Ranjit Rath has taken over as the Chairman of Oil India, the second largest public sector oil and gas producer. 
• Sushil Chandra, who has been working as the chairman of Oil India, will retire on June 30. 

3. Soon, an app-based bus service 

•  Delhi government plans to introduce a premium bus service in National Capital Region with a view to encourage commuters to switch from private vehicles to public transport. 
• All buses will be BS-VI compliant, air-conditioned, CNG or electric, seats only, app support, CCTVs, and panic buttons, and will be integrated with ‘One Delhi App’ for booking rides and making digital payments.

4. India to host UNSC meeting against terrorism 

• For the first time, diplomats and officials from 15 UN Security Council countries, including India, China, Russia, and the US, will hold a special meeting on terrorism in Delhi and Mumbai in October. 
• The meeting of the Counter-Terrorism Committee (CTC), which India will chair in 2022 as a member of the UNSC, will focus specifically on challenges such as financing of terrorism, cyber threats, and the use of drones. 

5. Madhya Pradesh is moving towards self-sufficiency in solar energy 

• World’s Largest 600 MW Omkareshwar Floating Solar Project Contract Signing Ceremony. 

• Benefits of Omkareshwar Schemes 
• The project will attract an investment of Rs.3500 Crores in Madhya Pradesh for agriculture/other industries worth about 1200 hectares and store 36000kl of ground water. 
• 60 to 70 percent of water is prevented from evaporating. 
• Direct and indirect employment of around 2000 people during construction. 
• 12 lakh metric tonnes less carbon emissions

1. Silver for Indian mixed team in Badminton 

• India won silver medal in mixed team category at Commonwealth Badminton.
