- நாட்டிலேயே அதிவேக ரயிலான வந்தே பாரத் ரயில் உற்பத்தி நடைபெற்று வரும் நிலையில் சென்னை, கோவை, திருச்சி மற்றும் திருவனந்தபுரம் ஆகிய 4 இடங்களில் உள்ள ரயில்பெட்டி பணிமணிகளில் அதிவேக ரயில் பேட்டி தொடர்களை பராமரிக்க தெற்கு ரயில்வே முடிவு செய்துள்ளது
- நடப்பு நிதியாண்டில் 200 வந்தே பாரத் ரயில்களை தயாரிக்க டெண்டர் கோரப்பட்டுள்ளது
