1. சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதி
- ஒடிசா உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தின் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக உள்ள எஸ்.முரளீதரை சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தின் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக நியமிக்க உச்சநீதிமன்றம் பரிந்துரைத்துள்ளதாக தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.
- 1961 ஆகஸ்ட் எட்டாம் தேதி பிறந்த நீதிபதி எஸ்.முரளிதர் சென்னை சட்டக் கல்லூரியில் பயின்று வழக்குரைஞராக 1984 செப்டம்பர் 12ல் பதிவு செய்தார்.
- பின்னர் சென்னை சிவில் நீதிமன்றங்களில் வழக்குரைஞராக பணியாற்றியவர் தில்லி உயர்நீதிமன்றம், உச்சநீதிமன்றத்திலும் வழக்குரைஞராக பணிபுரிந்துள்ளார்.
- கடந்த 2006 மே 29ஆம் தேதி தில்லி உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தின் கூடுதல் நீதிபதியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
- பின்னர் 2007 ஆகஸ்ட் 29 இல் நிரந்தர நீதிபதியானார்.
- 2020 மார்ச் 6-ல் பஞ்சாப், ஹரியானா உயர்நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு மாற்றப்பட்டார்.
- பின்னர் ஒடிசா உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பணியிட மாற்றப்பட்டு 2021 ஜனவரி 4-ல் பதவியேற்றார்.
- தற்போது அங்கிருந்து சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தின் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பணியிட மாற்றம் பெறுகிறார்.
- சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக இருந்த சஞ்சீவ் பானர்ஜி மேகாலயா உயர்நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு மாற்றப்பட்டதையடுத்து அலகாபாத் உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தின் மூத்த நிதிபதியான முனிஸ்வர்நாத் பண்டாரி சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் பொறுப்பு தலைமை நீதிபதியாக கடந்த பிப்ரவரி மாதம் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
- அவரது பதவிக்காலம் முடிவடைந்ததை அடுத்து மூத்த நீதிபதி எம்.துரைசாமி பொறுப்பு தலைமை நீதிபதியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
- செப்டம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி அவர் ஓய்வு பெற்றதால் மூத்த நீதிபதி டி.ராஜா பொறுப்பு தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பொறுப்பு வகித்து வருகிறார்.
2. முதல்வரின் புத்தாய்வு திட்டம்
- தமிழ்நாடு முதல்வரின் புத்தாய்வு திட்டத்தை தமிழக அரசு அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
- திறன்மிகு இளைஞர்களின் ஆற்றல் திறமையை பயன்படுத்தி நிர்வாக செயல் திறனை மேம்படுத்துவதே இத்திட்டத்தின் நோக்கம்.
- மூன்று கட்டங்களாக தேர்வு நடத்தப்பட்டு 30 பேர் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இவர்களுக்கு 30 நாள் வகுப்பறை பயிற்சி திருச்சி பாரதிதாசன் மேலாண்மை கல்வி நிறுவனத்துடன் ஒருங்கிணைந்து சென்னை அண்ணா நிர்வாக பணியாளர் கல்லூரியில் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
- நமது இளைஞர்களின் ஆற்றலை பயன்படுத்தி அரசு நிர்வாகத்தின் செயல்பாட்டை மேம்படுத்துவதே இத்திட்டத்தின் நோக்கம்.
- அரசின் திட்டங்கள், அவற்றின் குறிக்கோள்களை முழுமையாக அடையவும், குக்கிராமம் வரை அதன் பயன் மக்களை சென்று சேரவும் இது உதவும்.
- நீர்நிலைகளை மேம்படுத்துதல், வேளாண்மை வளர்ச்சி, அனைவருக்கும் வீடு, கல்வி தரத்தை உயர்த்துதல், அனைத்து சமூகங்களையும் உள்ளடக்கிய வளர்ச்சி, உட்கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் தொழில் வளர்ச்சி திறன் மேம்பாடு மற்றும் தொழில் முனைவோர்களை வளர்த்தெடுத்தல் முதலிய 12 முக்கிய துறைகளில் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்ட இளைஞர்கள் கவனம் செலுத்தவுள்ளனர்.

1. இயான் புயல்
- அமெரிக்கவின் ஃபுளோரிடா மாகாணத்தில் வீசிய ‘இயான்‘ புயல் அந்த பகுதியில் கடுமையான பாதிப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியதால் 25 லட்சத்துக்கு மேற்பட்டவர்கள் தவிர்த்து வருகின்றனர்.
2. அனைத்து பெண்களுக்கும் பாதுகாப்பான கருகலைப்பு உரிமை
- பெண்கள் கருகலைப்பு செய்து கொள்ள அமெரிக்க உச்சநீதிமன்றம் அண்மையில் தடை விதித்து தீர்ப்பளித்திருந்த நிலையில் பெண்களின் உரிமைகளை காக்கும் வகையிலான வரலாற்றுச் சிறப்புமிக்க தீர்ப்பை இந்திய உச்ச நீதிமன்றம் வழங்கியுள்ளது.
- திருமணமான பெண்கள் 24 வாரம் வரையிலான கருவை பாதுகாப்பான முறையில் கலைத்துக் கொள்வதற்கு கருக்கலைப்புச் சட்டம் அனுமதி வழங்குகிறது.
- பாலியல் வன்கொடுமையால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பெண்கள், சிறுமிகளுக்கும் இந்த சட்டவிதி பொருந்தும்.
3. டைம் இதழின் இளம் தொழிலதிபருக்கான 100 கோடீஸ்வரர் பட்டியல்
- டைம் இதழ் வெளியிட்டுள்ள வளரும் இளம் தொழிலதிபருக்கான உலக 100 கோடீஸ்வரர் பட்டியலில் இந்தியாவிலிருந்து ரிலையன்ஸ் இண்டஸ்ட்ரீஸ் நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவர் முகேஷ் அம்பானியின் மூத்த மகன் ஆகாஷ் அம்பானிக்கு மட்டுமே இடம் கிடைத்துள்ளது.
- உலகம் முழுவதிலும் உள்ள இளம் தலைமுறையை சேர்ந்த முதல் 100 கோடீஸ்வரர்கள் பட்டியலை டைம் இதழ் ஆண்டுதோறும் வெளியிட்டு வருகிறது.
4. குஜராத் மாநிலத்தில் ரூபாய் 8500 கோடி மதிப்பிலான திட்டம்
- குஜராத் மாநிலத்தில் ரூபாய் 8600 கோடி மதிப்பிலான வளர்ச்சித் திட்டங்களை பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி தொடக்கி வைத்தார்.
- சூரத் நகரில் வைர ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் வணிக திட்டம் (ட்ரீம் சிட்டி) தொடங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது.
- பாவ்நகர் துறைமுகம் அருகே உலகின் முதல் இயற்கை எரிவாயு முனையத்துக்கு அவர் அடிக்கல் நாட்டினார்.
- இது அரசு மற்றும் தனியார் துறை மூலம் ரூபாய் 4000 கோடி மதிப்பில் தொடங்கப்படுகிறது.
- குஜராத் பாவ்நகர் துறைமுகம் ஆண்டுக்கு 15 லட்சம் டன் சரக்குகளை கையாள்கிறது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

1. Chief Justice of Madras High Court
- According to reports, the Supreme Court has recommended S. Muralitha, who is the Chief Justice of the Odisha High Court, to be appointed as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court.
- Born on August 8, 1961, Justice S. Muralidhar studied at Madras Law College and registered as a lawyer on September 12, 1984.
- He later worked as a lawyer in the Civil Courts of Chennai and worked as a lawyer in the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court.
- Appointed as Additional Judge of Delhi High Court on 29 May 2006.
- Later became a permanent judge on 29 August 2007.
- Transferred to Punjab, Haryana High Court on 6 March 2020.
- Later transferred as Chief Justice of Odisha High Court and assumed office on January 4, 2021.
- At present he is getting transfer from there as Chief Justice of Madras High Court.
- Allahabad High Court senior treasurer Muniswarnath Bhandari was appointed as the acting Chief Justice of the Madras High Court last February after Sanjiv Banerjee, who was the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, was transferred to the Meghalaya High Court.
- Senior Justice M. Duraisamy was appointed as the Acting Chief Justice after the expiry of his tenure.
- Since his retirement on 21st September, Senior Justice D. Raja is acting as the Acting Chief Justice.
2. Principal’s revision plan
- Tamil Nadu Government has introduced the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Review Scheme.
- The objective of this scheme is to develop managerial skills by harnessing the potential of talented youth.
- The examination was conducted in three phases and 30 candidates were selected. A 30-day classroom training for them is provided at Anna Administrative Staff College, Chennai in coordination with Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Trichy.
- The objective of the scheme is to harness the energy of our youth and improve the functioning of government administration.
- It will help the government schemes to achieve their objectives fully and its benefits reach the village people.
- The selected youth will focus on 12 key areas such as watershed development, agriculture development, housing for all, raising the standard of education, inclusive growth of all communities, infrastructure and industrial development capacity building and entrepreneurship development.

2. The right to safe abortion for all women
- The Supreme Court of India has given a historic decision protecting women’s rights while the US Supreme Court has recently ruled against abortion for women.
- The Abortion Act allows married women to safely terminate their fetuses up to 24 weeks.
- This law also applies to women and girls who are victims of sexual violence.
3. Time Magazine’s 100 Billionaires for Young Entrepreneurs list
- Akash Ambani, the eldest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, has made it to the list of the world’s 100 millionaires for emerging young entrepreneurs published by Time magazine.
- Every year, Time magazine publishes a list of the top 100 billionaires from the young generation around the world.
4. A project worth Rs 8500 crore in the state of Gujarat
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched development projects worth Rs 8600 crore in the state of Gujarat.
- Diamond research and commercial project (Dream City) was launched in Surat city.
- He laid the foundation stone of the world’s first natural gas terminal near Bhavnagar Port.
- It is being launched at a cost of Rs 4000 crores through government and private sector.
- It is noteworthy that Gujarat Bhavnagar port handles 15 lakh tonnes of cargo per annum.
