1. ஜிடிபி 13.5% உயர்வு
- நிகழ் நிதியாண்டின் ஏப்ரல் முதல் ஜூன் வரையிலான முதல் காலாண்டில் நாட்டின் மொத்த உள்நாட்டு உற்பத்தி (ஜிடிபி) 13.5% அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
- கடந்த 2021-22 நிதியாண்டின் கடைசி மூன்று காலாண்டுகளில் பதிவான விகிதத்தை காட்டிலும் நிகழாண்டின் முதல் காலாண்டில் ஜிடிபி 13.5% அதிகமாக பதிவாகியுள்ளதாக தேசிய புள்ளியியல் அலுவலகம் (என்எஸ்ஓ) தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- 2023 நாட்டின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி 7 முதல் 7.5 சதவீதமாக அதிகரிக்கும்.
2. ஸ்மார்ட் பாக்ஸர்
- சென்னை ஐஐடி ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் இன்ஸ்பயர் இன்ஸ்டிட்யூட் ஆஃப் ஸ்போர்ட்ஸ் (ஐஐஎஸ்) உடன் இணைந்து 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற உள்ள ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டியில் இந்தியாவின் பதக்கங்களை அதிகரிக்க செய்ய மேம்பட்ட குத்துச்சண்டை பகுப்பாய்வு மென்பொருளை உருவாக்கி வருகின்றனர்.
- சென்னை ஐஐடியின் விளையாட்டு அறிவியல் மற்றும் பகுப்பாய்வுக்கான தனிச்சிறப்பு மையம் ‘ஸ்மார்ட் பாக்ஸர்’ என்ற பகுப்பாய்வு மென்பொருளை உருவாக்கி வருகிறது.
- அணியக்கூடிய சென்சார்கள் மற்றும் வீடியோ கேமராக்களை பயன்படுத்தி ‘இன்டர்நெட்–ஆப்ஸ்–திங்க்ஸ்’ மூலம் பின்னூட்டம் மற்றும் செயல் திறன் மதிப்பீடுகளை இந்த பகுப்பாய்வு தளம் வழங்கும்.

3. ஜி-20 கூட்டமைப்பு நாடு
- பருவநிலை மாறுபாடு பிரச்சனைக்கு தீர்வு காணும் நோக்கத்துடன் இந்தியா உறுதியாக செயல்படுகிறது என்று மத்திய சுற்றுச்சூழல் துறை அமைச்சர் பூபேந்தர் யாதவ் தெரிவித்தார்.
- இந்தோனேஷியாவின் பாலிதீவில் ஜி–20 கூட்டமைப்பு நாடுகளின் சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் பருவநிலை துறை அமைச்சர்களின் கூட்டம் தொடங்கியது.
- கூட்டம் அமைப்பில் ஆர்ஜென்டினா, ஆஸ்திரேலியா, பிரேசில், கனடா, சீனா, பிரான்ஸ், ஜெர்மனி, இந்தியா, இந்தோனேஷியா, இத்தாலி, ஜப்பான், தென்கொரியா, மெக்ஸிகோ, ரஷ்யா, சவுதி அரேபியா, தென்னாப்பிரிக்கா துருக்கி, பிரிட்டன், அமெரிக்கா, ஐரோப்பிய யூனியன் ஆகியவை இடம் பெற்றுள்ளன.
4. இணைய வழி குற்றங்கள் ஐந்து சதவீதம் அதிகரிப்பு
- இந்தியாவில் இணையவழியில் நடைபெறும் குற்றங்கள் கடந்த ஆண்டில் (2021) 5 சதவீதம் அளவுக்கு அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
- முந்தைய ஆண்டில் இது 15 சதவீதம் அளவுக்கு அதிகரித்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
- 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டில் தெலுங்கானா, உத்தர பிரதேசம், கர்நாடகம், மகாராஷ்டிரம், அசாம் ஆகிய மாநிலங்களில் தான் அதிக அளவில் இணைய வழி குற்றங்கள் பதிவாகியுள்ளன.
- இணையவழி குற்றங்களில் 60.8% நிதி உள்ளிட்ட மோசடிகள் மற்றும் ஏமாற்று நடவடிக்கைகளில் ஈடுபடுவதாக உள்ளது.
- இதற்கு அடுத்து 8.6 சதவீதம் பாலியல் ரீதியான இணையவழி குற்றங்கள் ஆகும்.
- 5.4 சதவீதம் மிரட்டுவது, அச்சுறுத்துவது போன்ற குற்றங்கள் ஆகும்.
- தெலுங்கானாவில் அதிகபட்சமாக 10,303 இணையவழி குற்றங்கள் பதிவாகியுள்ளன.
- பெண்கள், குழந்தைகளுக்கு எதிராகவும் இணையவழியில் குற்றங்கள் அதிகம் நடைபெறுகின்றன.
- தகவல் திருட்டு, டெபிட், கிரெடிட் கார்டு மோசடிகள் இணையவழியில் நடப்பது அதிகம் உள்ளது.
5. கருப்பை வாய் புற்று நோய்க்கு உள்நாட்டு தடுப்பூசி
- கருப்பை வாய் புற்று நோய்க்கு உள்நாட்டில் முதல் முறையாக தயாரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள தடுப்பூசி அறிமுகம் செய்யப்படவுள்ளது.
- கருப்பை வாய் புற்று நோய்க்கு எதிரான தடுப்பாற்றலை அளிக்கும் செர்வாவேக் தடுப்பூசியை ‘சீரம் இந்தியா’ நிறுவனம் தயாரித்துள்ளது.
- இது கருப்பை வாய் புற்று நோய்க்கு முக்கிய காரணியான ஹியூமன் பாப்பிலோமா தீநுண்மிக்கு எதிராக செயல்படும்.
6. தில்லியில் காணொளி பள்ளி
- நாட்டின் எந்தப் பகுதியில் இருந்தும் ஒன்பது முதல் 12 ஆம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் சேர்ந்து படிக்கும் வகையில் காணொளி பள்ளியை (விர்ச்சுவல் ஸ்கூல்–டிஎம்விஎஸ்) தில்லி முதல்வர் அரவிந்த் கேஜரிவால் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
- நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள 13 முதல் 18 வயதுக்குட்பட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கு பள்ளிக்கல்வி அளிப்பதற்கான சேர்க்கை இந்த காணொளி பள்ளியின் மூலம் தொடங்கப்படும்.
- மாணவர்கள் திறன் சார்ந்த பயிற்சி உடன் நீட், க்யூட் மற்றும் ஜேஇஇ போன்ற நுழைவுத் தேர்வுகளுக்காக பயிற்சியும் வல்லுநர்கள் மூலம் அளிக்கப்படும்.
- நாட்டிலேயே முதன்முதலாக இந்த காணொளி பள்ளி அமைக்கப்பட்டு இருப்பது கல்வித்துறையில் ஒரு மயில்கல்லாக இருக்கும் என்பதை நிரூபிக்கும்.
7. மகசேசே விருது
- ஆசியாவின் நோபல் பரிசு என்று அழைக்கப்படும் பிலிப்பைன்ஸ் மகசேசே விருதுக்காக கம்போடியாவில் அரசின் அடக்குமுறையால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு உதவிய மனநல மருத்துவர் சொதியாரா சிம், வன்கொடுமைக்குள்ளான ஆயிரக்கணக்கான சிறுவர்களுக்கு உதவிய பிலிப்பின்ஸ் மருத்துவர் பெர்னடெட் மேட்ரிக் ஆகியோர் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
8. மிகயீல் கோர்பசேவ் மறைவு
- சோவியத் யூனியன் கடைசி அதிபரும் பனிப்போரை முடிவுக்கு கொண்டு வந்தவருமான மிகயீல் கோர்பசேவ் உடல் நலக்குறைவால் தனது 91 வது வயதில் காலமானார்.
- சோவியத் யூனியன் ஆட்சியாளராக கடந்த 1988 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 1991 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை பொறுப்பு வகித்த அவர் பனிப்போரை முடிவுக்கு கொண்டு வருவதற்கு சர்வதேச அளவில் போற்றப்பட்டார்.

1. GDP growth of 13.5%
- The country’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 13.5% in the first quarter of the current financial year from April to June.
- The National Statistics Office (NSO) reported that the GDP in the first quarter of this year was 13.5% higher than the rate recorded in the last three quarters of the last financial year 2021-22.
- 2023 economic growth of the country will increase to 7 to 7.5 percent.
2. Smart Boxer
- IIT Chennai researchers in collaboration with Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) are developing advanced boxing analytics software to boost India’s medal haul at the 2024 Olympics.
- IIT Chennai’s Center of Excellence for Sports Science and Analytics is developing analytics software called ‘Smart Boxer’.
- This analytics platform will provide feedback and performance assessments through ‘Internet-of-Things-Thinks’ using wearable sensors and video cameras.
- How does it work?
- Based on the Internet of Things, gloves with sensors to analyze punch-in speed, barometers with wireless foot insoles to record ground reaction forces, wireless EMG sensors to record athletes’ lower body movement, kinetic energy A unit of measurement is also used.
3. G-20 countries
- Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav said that India is committed to solving the problem of climate change.

- Cyber crime in India has increased by 5 percent in the last year (2021).

6. Video School in Delhi
- Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a virtual school (Virtual School-TMVS) for classes nine to 12 students from any part of the country to study together.
- Enrollment for schooling of students between 13 to 18 years across the country will be initiated through this video school.
- Students will be given skill based coaching along with coaching for entrance exams like NEET, CUET and JEE by experts.
- The establishment of this video school, the first of its kind in the country, will prove to be a milestone in the field of education.
7. Magsaysay Award
- Psychiatrist Sothiara Sim, who helped victims of government repression in Cambodia, and Bernadette Matric, a Filipino doctor who helped thousands of abused children, have been selected for the Philippine Magesai Award, known as the Nobel Prize of Asia.
8. Death of Mikhail Gorbachev
- Mikhail Gorbachev, the last president of the Soviet Union and the man who brought the Cold War to an end, has died at the age of 91 due to ill health.
- Ruler of the Soviet Union from 1988 to 1991, he is internationally acclaimed for ending the Cold War.
- Due to his hard work he was awarded the red stripe for labor in a very rare manner at the age of 17.
