1. நால்கே புயல்

• பிலிப்பைன்ஸ் நாட்டின் தெற்கு பகுதிகளை ‘நால்கே’ என்கிற சக்தி வாய்ந்த புயல் பந்தாடியது.
• இதில் 31 பேர் பலியாகினர். பிலிப்பைன்ஸ் நாட்டின் தெற்கு பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள மாகாணங்களை நால்கே என்கிற சக்தி வாய்ந்த புயல் தாக்கியது.
• குறிப்பாக இந்த புயல் அங்குள்ள மகுயிண்டனாவ் மாகாணத்தை பந்தாடியது.

2. புதிய பெட்ரோல்-டீசல் கார்களுக்கு 2035 முதல் தடை: ஐரோப்பா முடிவு

• பெட்ரோல், டீசல் போன்ற எரிபொருள்களில் இயங்கும் புதிய உள்ளெரி (இன்டர்னல் கம்பிஷன்) என்ஜின் கார்களின் விற்பனைக்கு வரும் 2035 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் தடை விதிக்க ஐரோப்பிய யூனியன் முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.
• இது தொடர்பாக, ‘55 இலக்குக்கான திட்டம்‘ என்ற தலைப்பில் ஒரு உடன்படிக்கையை உறுப்பு நாடுகள் மேற்கொண்டன.
• புவி வெப்பமயமாதல் மற்றும் பருவநிலை மாற்றத்துக்கு காரணமான பசுமை குடில் வாயுக்களின் வெளியேற்றத்தை 2030 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குள் 55 சதவீதம் குறைக்க ஐரோப்பிய யூனியன் இலக்கு நிர்ணயித்துள்ளது.
• அந்த இலக்கை அடைவதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளின் ஒரு பகுதியாக இந்த உள்ளெரி எஞ்சின் கார் தடை ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது.

3. ராஜஸ்தானில் உலகின் மிக உயரமான சிவன் சிலை

• ராஜஸ்தானின் ராஜ்சமந்த் மாவட்டத்தில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள 369 அடி உயர சிவபெருமான் சிலை பக்தர்களின் தரிசனத்திற்காக திறக்கப்பட உள்ளது.
• தத் பாதம் சன்ஸ்தான் என்ற அறக்கட்டளையால் நிறுவப்பட்டிருக்கும் இச்சிலை உலகிலேயே மிக உயரமான சிவன் சிலை என்று தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• முதல்வர் அசோக் கெலாட், பேரவை தலைவர் சி.பி.ஜோஷி உள்ளிட்டோர் முன்னிலையில் இந்த பிரம்மாண்ட சிவன் சிலை பக்தர்களின் தரிசனத்திற்காக திறக்கப்பட உள்ளது.
• ராஜ்சமந்த் மாவட்டத்தின் நாத்வாரா நகரில் மலைமீது சிவபெருமான் தியான வடிவில் சிலை நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• உலகிலேயே மிக உயரமான இந்த சிவன் சிலையில் மின்தூக்கிகள், படிக்கட்டுகள், பக்தர்களுக்கான அரங்கம் ஆகியவை உள்ளன.
• கட்டுமானத்துக்காக 3,000 டன்கள் இரும்பு மற்றும் உருக்கு, 2.5 லட்சம் கியூபிக் டன் கான்கிரீட் ஆகியவை பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. சுமார் பத்து ஆண்டுகள் கட்டுமான பணி நடைபெற்றுள்ளது.
• 250 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு தாங்கி நிற்கும் வகையில் கட்டமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதேபோல் மணிக்கு 250 கிலோ மீட்டர் வேகத்தில் ஆன காற்றையும் இச்சிலை தாங்கும்.

4. நெல் ஈரப்பத அளவை 19 சதவீதமாக உயர்த்த மத்திய அரசு அனுமதி

• டெல்டா மாவட்டங்களில் கொள்முதல் செய்யப்படும் நெல்லில் ஈரப்பத அளவை 17 சதவீதத்திலிருந்து 19 சதவீதமாக உயர்த்திக்கொள்ள அனுமதிக்கப்படுகிறது.
• சாதாரண நெல்லுக்கான குறைந்தபட்ச ஆதரவு விலை குவிண்டாலுக்கு ரூபாய் 2040 ஆகவும் சன்னரக நெல்லுக்கு குவிண்டாலுக்கு ரூபாய் 2060 ஆகவும் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

5. ஐஎன்எஸ் விக்ராந்த்

• நாட்டின் முதல் விமானம் தாங்கி போர்க்கப்பலான ஐஎன்எஸ் விக்ராந்த் முற்றிலும் உள்நாட்டில் கட்டப்பட்டது.
• இந்திய எஃகு உற்பத்தி துறையின் ஆற்றலுக்கு சாட்சியாக விளங்கி வருவதாக பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
• குஜராத்தின் சூரத் மாவட்டத்தில் ஆர்சலர்மிட்டல் திப்பான் எஃகு நிறுவனத்தின் விரிவாக்க பணிகளுக்கான அடிக்கல் நாட்டு விழாவில் பிரதமர் மோடி காணொலி வாயிலாக பங்கேற்றார்.

6. டிவிட்டர் உரிமையாளர் எலான் மஸ்க்

• சர்வதேச அளவில் புகழ்பெற்ற சமூக வலைத்தள நிறுவனமான ட்விட்டரை சுமார் ₹3,52,000 கோடிக்கு வாங்கும் ஒப்பந்தத்தை டெஸ்லா நிறுவன உரிமையாளர் எலான் மஸ்க் இறுதி செய்துள்ளார்.
• டிவிட்டர் உரிமையாளரான முதல் நாளிலேயே நிறுவனத்தின் தலைமைச் செயல் அதிகாரியான (சிஇஓ) பராக் அகர்வால் நிறுவனத்தின் சட்ட அதிகாரியும் இந்தியருமான விஜயா கட்டே உள்ளிட்ட நான்கு மூத்த அதிகாரிகளை பணியிலிருந்து எலான் மஸ்க் நீக்கியுள்ளார்

7. ஒரே நாடு-ஒரே காவல் சீருடை

• நாடு முழுவதும் காவலர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் ஒரே சீருடை அறிமுகப்படுத்தும் வகையில் ‘ஒரே நாடு-ஒரே காவல் சீருடை’ என்ற யோசனையை பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி முன்வைத்தார்.
• மாநில உள்துறை அமைச்சர்கள் பங்கேற்கும் சிந்தனை அமர்வு கூட்டம் ஹரியானாவின் சூரஜ்குண்ட் நகரில் தொடங்கியது.
• குற்றச்செயல்களை தடுப்பதிலும் குற்றவாளிகளை கண்டறிவதிலும் மாநிலங்களுடைய ஒத்துழைப்பு நிலவ வேண்டியது அவசியம்.

2. Ban on new petrol-diesel cars from 2035: Europe decision

• The European Union has decided to ban the sale of new internal combustion engine cars running on petrol and diesel from 2035 onwards.

• The European Union has set a target of reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases responsible for global warming and climate change by 55 percent by 2030.
• The internal engine car ban agreement is a part of the measures to achieve that goal.
• Under the agreement, member states must commit automakers to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by 55 percent by 2030 and completely after five years.

3. World’s tallest Shiva statue in Rajasthan

• The 369-feet tall Lord Shiva statue erected in Rajasthan’s Rajsamand district is set to open for darshan of devotees.
• The statue, installed by the Dut Padam Sansthan, is said to be the tallest Shiva statue in the world.

4. Central government permission to increase moisture level of paddy to 19 percent

• Moisture content of paddy procured in Delta districts is allowed to increase from 17 percent to 19 percent.
• The minimum support price for normal paddy has been fixed at Rs 2040 per quintal and for fine paddy at Rs 2060 per quintal.

5. INS Vikrant

7. One country-one police uniform

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed the idea of ​​’One Nation-One Police Uniform’ to introduce uniform uniform for all policemen across the country.
