1. பள்ளிகளில் ‘தி ரெட் பலூன்‘ குறும்படம்
- மாதத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு இரண்டாவது வாரமும் அனைத்து அரசு நடுநிலை, உயர்நிலை மற்றும் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளிகளிலும் ஆறு முதல் ஒன்பதாம் வகுப்பு வரையில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு அவற்றுக்காக ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள பாட வேலைகளில் சிறார் திரைப்படங்கள் திரையிட ஏற்கனவே உத்தரவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- அந்த வகையில் அக்டோபர் 13ஆம் தேதி ‘தி ரெட் பலூன்‘ திரைப்படம் திரையிடப்படும் இந்த படம் பிரெஞ்சு மொழியில் ஆஸ்கார் விருது பெற்ற குறும்படம் ஆகும்.

1. உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தின் அடுத்த தலைமை நீதிபதி டி.ஒய்.சந்திர சூட்
- உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தின் அடுத்த தலைமை நீதிபதியாக நியமிக்க மூத்த நீதிபதி டி.ஒய்.சந்திர சூட்டின் பெயரை தற்போதைய தலைமை நீதிபதி யு.யு.லலித் மத்திய அரசுக்கு பரிந்துரைத்தார்.
- இந்த பரிந்துரை கடிதத்தின் நகலை உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தின் ஐம்பதாவது நீதிபதியாக பதவியேற்க உள்ள நீதிபதி டி.ஒய்.சந்திர சூட்டிடம் தலைமை நீதிபதி யு.யு.லலித் அளித்தார்.
- உச்சநீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதி எட்டாம் தேதி ஓய்வு பெறுகிறார்.
- நவம்பர் 9ஆம் தேதி தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பொறுப்பேற்கும் டி.ஒய்.சந்திர சூட் 2024 நவம்பர் 10ஆம் தேதி வரையில் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகள் அந்த பதவியை வகிக்க உள்ளார்.
- உச்சநீதிமன்ற நீதிபதிகளின் பணி ஓய்வு வயது 65 ஆக நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- 2016 மே 13ஆம் தேதி உச்சநீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாக டி.ஒய்.சந்திர சூட் பதவி உயர்வு பெற்றார்.
- அதற்கு முன்பு அலகாபாத் உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தின் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக 2013 அக்டோபர் 31ம் தேதி முதல் அவர் பணியாற்றி வந்தார்.
- 2000 மார்ச் 29 முதல் மும்பை உயர்நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாகவும் அவர் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.
- 1998ல் மும்பை உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் மூத்த வழக்குரைஞரான அவர் அதே ஆண்டில் கூடுதல் சொலிசிட்டர் ஜெனரலாகவும் பதவி உயர்வு பெற்றார்.
- உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தின் தலைமை நீதிபதியாக 1978 பிப்ரவரி 22 முதல் 1985 ஜூலை 11 வரையில் நீண்ட காலம் பணியாற்றிய நீதிபதி சந்திர சூட்டின் மகன் நீதிபதி டி.ஒய்.சந்திர சூட் ஆவார்.
2. இந்தியாவின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி மதிப்பீட்டை 6.8 சதவீதமாக குறைத்தது ஐஎம்எஃப்
- 2022-23 ஆம் நிதி ஆண்டில் இந்தியாவின் மொத்த உள்நாட்டு உற்பத்தி வளர்ச்சி 8.2 சதவீதமாக இருக்கும் என்று கடந்த ஜனவரியில் ஐஎம்எஃப் கணித்திருந்தது.
- பின்னர் இது 7.4 சதவீதமாக கடந்த ஜனவரியில் குறைக்கப்பட்டது.
- உலகவங்கி மற்றும் ஐஎம்எஃப் அதிகாரிகளின் வருடாந்திர கூட்டத்திற்கு பின் வெளியிடப்பட்ட இந்த அறிக்கையில் நடப்பு நிதியாண்டுக்கான இந்தியாவின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி மதிப்பீடு 6.8 சதவீதமாக குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

- உலக பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி 2021ல் 6.0 சதவீதமாக இருந்த நிலையில் 2022ல் 3.2% ஆகவும் 2023 ல் 2.7 சதவீதமாகவும் குறையும் என்று ஐஎம்எஃப் அறிக்கை தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- இக்கணிப்புகள், பெரும் பொருளாதார நாடுகளின் (அமெரிக்கா, ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியம், சீனா) குறிப்பிடத்தக்க அளவிலான மந்தநிலையை எதிரொலிப்பதாக ஐஎம்எஃப் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- உக்ரைன் மீதான ரஷ்யாவின் படையெடுப்பு உலக பொருளாதாரத்தின் ஸ்திரத்தன்மையை தொடர்ந்து பாதித்து வருகிறது.
- பணவீக்க அழுத்தம் நீட்டிப்பு மற்றும் அதிகரிப்பால் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள வாழ்க்கை செலவுகள் பிரச்சனை, கரோனா பரவல் மற்றும் தொடர் முடக்கங்களால் சீனாவில் நிலவும் மந்தநிலை ஆகியவற்றின் தாக்கங்களால் இந்த சவால்கள் எழுந்துள்ளன.

- மகாராஷ்டிரத்தில் உத்தவ் தாக்கரே தலைமையிலான சிவசேனை கூட்டணி ஆட்சியில் இருந்தது.
- அந்த கூட்டணி மீது சிவசேனையைச் சேர்ந்த ஏக்நாத் அதிருப்தி கொண்டதால் கட்சியில் பிளவு ஏற்பட்டது.
- சிவசேனையைச் சேர்ந்த 40 அதிருப்தி எம்எல்ஏக்கள் ஏக்நாத் ஷிண்டேவுக்கு ஆதரவாளித்தனர்.
- இதையடுத்து உத்தவ் தாக்கரே தலைமையிலான அரசு கவிழ்ந்தது.
- எனினும் கட்சியின் பெயர் சின்னம் தொடர்பான பிரச்சனைக்கு தீர்வு ஏற்படாத நிலையில் அவற்றை தேர்தல் ஆணையம் முடக்கியது.
- இதையடுத்து உத்தவ் தாக்கரே அணிக்கு ‘சிவசேனை உத்தவ் பாலா சாகிப் தாக்கரே‘ என்ற பெயரையும், ‘எரியும் ஜோதி‘ சின்னத்தையும் தேர்தல் ஆணையம் ஒதுக்கியது.
- அதே வேளையில் ஷிண்டே அணிக்கு ‘பாலா சாகேபின் சிவசேனை‘ என்ற பெயரை வழங்கி இருந்த தேர்தல் ஆணையம் அந்த அணிக்கு இரண்டு வாள்கள் மற்றும் கேடயம் சின்னத்தை ஒதுக்கியது.
- இந்த சின்னம் சத்திரபதி சிவாஜி மற்றும் பழைய சேனையின் சின்னம் என்று ஷிண்டே பெருமிதம் தெரிவித்தார்.
4. லெபனனுடன் ‘வரலாற்று‘ ஒப்பந்தம்: இஸ்ரேல்
- கடல் எல்லை பிரச்சனைக்கு தீர்வு காண்பதற்கான வரலாற்று சிறப்புமிக்க ஒப்பந்தத்தை அண்டை நாடான லெபனானுடன் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளதாக பிரதமர் யாயிர் லபீட் அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
- மத்திய தரை கடலில் சுமார் 860 சதுர கிலோமீட்டர் பரப்பளவு இஸ்ரேலும் லெபனானும் உரிமை கோரி வருகின்றன.
- இந்த நிலையில் அமெரிக்காவின் நீண்ட கால முயற்சிக்குப் பிறகு இந்த விவகாரத்தில் இரு நாடுகளுக்கும் இடையே ஒப்பந்தம் உருவானது.
- அந்த ஒப்பந்தத்தின் கீழ் சர்ச்சைக்குரிய எல்லைக்குள் கடலடி எரிபொருளை எடுத்துக் கொள்ள லெபனானை இஸ்ரேல் அனுமதிக்கும்.

1. The next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is TY Chandra Chute
- Current Chief Justice YU Lalit recommended the name of Senior Justice TY Chandra Chute to the Central Government for appointment as the next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
- Chief Justice U.U. Lalit gave a copy of this recommendation letter to Justice DY Chandra Chute, who is about to be sworn in as the fiftieth judge of the Supreme Court.
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court retires on the eighth.
- TY Chandra Chute, who will take over as Chief Justice on November 9, 2024, will hold the post for two years till November 10, 2024.
- The retirement age of Supreme Court judges is fixed at 65.
- On May 13, 2016, TY Chandra Chute was promoted as Supreme Court judge.
- Prior to that he was serving as Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court from 31st October 2013.
- He has also served as a Judge of Bombay High Court since March 29, 2000.
- In 1998, he became a senior advocate in Bombay High Court and was promoted to Additional Solicitor General in the same year.
- Justice DY Chandra Chute was the son of Justice Chandra Chute who served as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court from 22 February 1978 to 11 July 1985.
2. India’s economic growth estimate at 6.8 percent reduced by the IMF
- Last January, the IMF projected India’s GDP growth at 8.2 per cent in the 2022-23 financial year.
- It was later reduced to 7.4 percent last January.
- India’s economic growth estimate for the current fiscal has been cut to 6.8 percent in the report released after the annual meeting of World Bank and IMF officials.

- India’s economic growth in the financial year 2021-22 was 8.7 percent.
- Downgrade of Global Economic Growth Rating:
- Global economic growth will slow down from 6.0 percent in 2021 to 3.2 percent in 2022 and 2.7 percent in 2023, according to the IMF report.

- Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues to affect the stability of the global economy.

3. Two swords and a shield for the Shinde team
