1. 108 ஆம்புலன்ஸ் சேவை

• அவசர உதவிக்கான 108 ஆம்புலன்ஸ் சேவை மூலம் தமிழகத்திலேயே அதிகபட்சமாக சென்னை மாவட்டத்தில் இதுவரை 8.66 லட்சம் பேர் பயன் அடைந்துள்ளனர்.
• அதற்கு அடுத்தபடியாக திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்டத்தில் 6.89 லட்சம் பேர் பயன்படுத்தியுள்ளனர்.
• தமிழகத்தில் ஜி.வி.கே, இ.எம்.ஆர்.ஐ நிறுவனம் மூலமாக 108 ஆம்புலன்ஸ் சேவை செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
• இதன் மூலம் மொத்தம 1200க்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஆம்புலன்ஸ்கள் இயக்கப்படுகின்றன.
• ஏறத்தாழ 5 ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஊழியர்கள் பணியாற்றி வருகின்றனர்.
• கடந்த 14 ஆண்டுகளில் 108 ஆம்புலன்ஸ் சேவை மூலம் சென்னையில் மட்டும் 8.66 லட்சம் பேர் பயனடைந்துள்ளனர்.
• பிரசவ சிகிச்சைகளுக்காக பயணித்த 77.374 கர்ப்பிணிகள் பயன்படுத்தியுள்ளனர்.
• அதுமட்டுமல்லாது சாலை விபத்துகளில் சிக்கிய 1.24 லட்சம் பேர் வைக்கப்பட்ட சிகிச்சை அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்டத்தை பொருத்தவரை இதுவரை 6.89 லட்சம் பேர் பயன் அடைந்துள்ளனர்.
• அவர்களில் 1.94 லட்சம் கர்ப்பிணிகளும் சாலை விபத்துக்குள்ளான 1.12 லட்சம் பேரும் 108 ஆம்புலன்ஸ் சேவையை பயன்படுத்தி பலன் அடைந்துள்ளனர்.
• அவசர காலங்களில் தாமதம் இன்றி ஆம்புலன்ஸ் சேவைகள் கிடைப்பதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை நாங்கள் தொடர்ந்து உறுதி செய்து வருகிறோம் என்று சந்தீப்குமார் தெரிவித்தார்.

மத்திய செய்திகள்

1. நேரடி வரி வசூல் 23.8% அதிகரிப்பு

• மத்திய அரசின் நேரடி வரி வருவாய் நிகழாண்டில் நிலையான வளர்ச்சியுடன் அக்டோபர் எட்டாம் தேதி வரை மொத்தம் ரூபாய் 8.98 லட்சம் கோடி வசூலாகி உள்ளதாக மத்திய அமைச்சகம் தெரிவித்தது.
• இது கடந்த நிதியாண்டின் இதே காலகட்டத்துடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் 23.8% வளர்ச்சி எனவும் நிகழாண்டு வசூல் இலக்கில் 52 சதவீதம் பூர்த்தி அடைந்து விட்டது எனவும், தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• தனிநபர் வருமான வரியில் (பங்கு பரிவர்த்தனை வரி உள்பட) 32 சதவீத வளர்ச்சியும் பெரு நிறுவன வரி வருவாய் 16.73 சதவீதமும் அதிகரித்துள்ளதாக மத்திய நிதியமைச்சகத்தின் வருவாய் துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
• நேரடி வரியில் கூடுதலாக செலுத்தியவர்களுக்கு ₹ 1.53 லட்சம் கோடி திரும்ப செலுத்தப்பட்ட வரி போக நிகழாண்டின் ஏப்ரல் 1 முதல் அக்டோபர் எட்டு வரை நிகர நேரடி வரி வசூல் ரூபாய் 7.45 லட்சம் கோடி ஆகும்.
• இது கடந்தாண்டில் இதே காலகட்டத்தை விட 16.3% கூடுதலாகும்.
• தனிநபர் வசூலிலும் பெருநிறுவன நேரடி வருவாய் வரி வசூலையும் தனித்தனியாக ஒப்பிட்டால் முறையே 16.25%, 16.29% அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
• மேலும் 2022-23ஆம் ஆண்டில் நிதிநிலை அறிக்கை மதிப்பின்படி முழு ஆண்டு வரி வசூல் இலக்கில் 52.46 சதவீதம் தற்போது பூர்த்தியாகி உள்ளது எனவும், தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
• 2021-22 நிதியாண்டில் ரூபாய் 14.10 லட்சம் கோடி நேரடி வரி வசூலானது.
• இந்த நிதி ஆண்டில் நேரடி வரி வசூல் ரூபாய் 14.20 லட்சம் கோடியாக இருக்கும் என நிகழ நிதிநிலை அறிக்கையில் மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

2. மொடேரா கிராமம்

• சூரிய ஆற்றல் மூலமாக 24 மணி நேரமும் எரிசக்தி பெறும் நாட்டின் முதல் கிராமம் என குஜராத்தின் மொடேராவை நரேந்திர மோடி அறிவித்தார்.
• குஜராத்தில் சூரிய கோவிலுக்கு புகழ் பெற்றது மெசானா மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள மொடேரா கிராமம்.
• அங்கு சூரிய ஆற்றல் மூலமாக எரிசக்தி தயாரிப்பதற்கான பல்வேறு திட்டங்கள் தொடக்கி வைக்கப்பட்டன.
• 1300க்கும் அதிகமான வீடுகள் மற்றும் அலுவலகங்களின் மேற்புறத்தில் சூரிய எரிசக்தி உற்பத்தி தகடுகள் பொருத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.
• இதன் மூலம் அதன் அந்த கிராமமானது 24 மணி நேரமும் சூரிய சக்தி மூலமாக மின்சாரம் பெறும் வசதியை பெற்றுள்ளது.
• அத்தகைய வசதியை பெறும் நாட்டின் முதல் கிராமம் என்று பெருமையையும் மொடேரா பெற்றுள்ளது.

3. ஹிந்தி பேசாத மாநிலங்களின் உயர் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் பயிற்று   மொழியாக உள்ளூர் மொழி

• கடந்த 1976 ஆம் ஆண்டு அலுவல் மொழிக்கான நாடாளுமன்ற குழு அமைக்கப்பட்டது.
• அலுவல் மொழி சட்டம் 1963 இன் கீழ் அமைக்கப்பட்ட இந்த குழுவில் 20 மக்களவை எம்.பிகள் 10 மாநிலங்களவை எம்பிக்கள் என மொத்தம் 30 எம்.பிகள் உள்ளனர்.
• ஐந்தாண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை இந்த அறிக்கை சமர்ப்பிக்கப்படும் நிலையில் இந்த முறை மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்குள் இரண்டு அறிக்கை காண அந்தக் குழு சமர்ப்பித்துள்ளது.
• இந்நிலையில் மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அமித்ஷா தலைமையிலான அந்த குழு தனது 11 வது அறிக்கையை குடியரசு தலைவர் திரௌபதி முர்முவிடம் கடந்த மாதம் சமர்ப்பித்தது.
• அதில் 100க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பரிந்துரைகள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ள தகவல் தற்போது வெளியாகியுள்ளது.
• நாட்டில் உள்ள ஹிந்தி பேசும் மாநிலங்களில்  இந்திய தொழில்நுட்ப கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் (ஐஐடி) மத்திய பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள், கேந்திரிய வித்யாலயா கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் பயிற்று மொழியாக ஹிந்தி இருக்க வேண்டும்.
• ஹிந்தி பேசாத மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள ஐஐடிகள் மத்திய பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள், கேந்திரிய வித்யாலயா கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் பயிற்று மொழியாக உள்ளூர் மொழிகள் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
• விருப்பமிருந்தால் ஆங்கிலத்தை பயன்படுத்தலாம் ஹிந்தி பயன்பாட்டில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள முன்னேற்றத்தின் அடிப்படையில் அனைத்து மாநிலங்கள் மற்றும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்கள் மூன்று பிரிவுகளாக பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
• இதில் ஏ பிரிவில் உத்தரபிரதேசம், பீகார், மத்திய பிரதேசம், சத்தீஸ்கர், உத்தரகண்ட், ஜார்கண்ட், ஹரியானா, இமாச்சல பிரதேசம், ராஜஸ்தான், தில்லி மற்றும் அந்தமான் நிக்கோபார் தீவுகள் உள்ளன.
• பி பிரிவில் குஜராத், மகாராஷ்டிரம், பஞ்சாப், சண்டிகர், டாமன் டையூ மற்றும் தாத்ரா நகர் ஹவேலி உள்ளன.
• நாட்டின் இதர பகுதிகள் சி பிரிவில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.
• இதில் ஏ பிரிவில் உள்ள மாநிலங்களில் இந்திக்கு மதிப்புக்குரிய இடம் அளிக்கப்பட்டு அதன் பயன்பாடு 100 சதவீதமாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
• மத்திய அரசு அலுவலகங்கள், அமைச்சகங்கள் துறைகளில் கடிதங்கள், மின்னஞ்சல்கள் போன்றவை இந்திய அல்லது உள்ளூர் மொழிகளில் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
• ஐநாவின் அலுவல் மொழிகளில் ஒன்றாக இந்தி இருக்க வேண்டும் உள்ளிட்ட பரிந்துரைகள் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

1. 108 Ambulance Service

• So far 8.66 lakh people have been benefited by the 108 ambulance service for emergency assistance in Chennai district which is the maximum in Tamil Nadu.
• Next to that, 6.89 lakh people have used it in Tiruvallur district.
• 108 ambulance service is being implemented in Tamil Nadu through GVK and EMRI.
• A total of more than 1200 ambulances are operated through this.
• Approximately more than 5 thousand employees are working.
• In the last 14 years, 8.66 lakh people have benefited from 108 ambulance services in Chennai alone.
• Used by 77.374 pregnant women traveling for delivery treatments.
• Apart from that 1.24 lakh people involved in road accidents have been treated.
• As far as Tiruvallur district is concerned, 6.89 lakh people have benefited so far.
• Out of them 1.94 lakh pregnant women and 1.12 lakh road accident victims have benefited by using 108 ambulance service.
• Sandeep Kumar said that we are constantly ensuring measures to ensure that ambulance services are available without delay during emergencies.

1. 23.8% increase in direct tax collection

• The central government’s direct tax revenue has seen a steady growth in the current year with a total collection of Rs 8.98 lakh crore till October 8, the Union Ministry said.
• This is a growth of 23.8% compared to the same period of the last financial year and 52% of the current year’s collection target has been met, it has been reported.
• The revenue department of the Union Finance Ministry has reported a growth of 32 percent in personal income tax (including share transaction tax) and 16.73 percent in corporate tax revenue.
• The net direct tax collection from April 1 to October 8 of this year was Rs 7.45 lakh crore, including refunds of ₹ 1.53 lakh crore to overpayers.
• This is an increase of 16.3% over the same period last year.
• Personal collection and corporate direct income tax collection separately increased by 16.25% and 16.29% respectively.
• Also, 52.46 percent of the full year tax collection target has been met in 2022-23 as per the financial statement value, it said.
• Direct tax collection of Rs 14.10 lakh crore in FY 2021-22.
• The current financial statement estimates direct tax collection to be Rs 14.20 lakh crore in this financial year.

2. Modera village

• Narendra Modi announced Gujarat’s Modera as country’s first village to get 24-hour solar power.
• Modera village in Mesana district is famous for Sun Temple in Gujarat.
• Various projects were initiated there to generate energy through solar energy.
• More than 1300 houses and offices have rooftop solar panels installed.
• Through this the village has got 24 hours electricity through solar power.
• Modera also holds the distinction of being the first village in the country to get such a facility.

3. Studied in higher educational institutions of non-Hindi speaking states Vernacular as  language

• Parliamentary Committee on Official Language was constituted in 1976.
• Constituted under the Official Language Act, 1963, this committee consists of 20 Lok Sabha MPs and 10 Rajya Sabha MPs, totaling 30 MPs.
• While this report is submitted once in five years, this time the committee has submitted two reports within three years.
• Meanwhile, the committee headed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah submitted its 11th report to President Draupadi Murmu last month.
• Information containing more than 100 recommendations has now been released.
• Hindi should be the medium of instruction in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Central Universities, Kendriya Vidyalayas in Hindi speaking states of the country.
• IITs, Central Universities, Kendriya Vidyalayas in non-Hindi speaking states should have local languages ​​as medium of instruction.
• English can be used if preferred All states and Union Territories are divided into three categories based on the progress made in the use of Hindi.
• Group A includes Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
• Category B includes Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Chandigarh, Daman Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli.
• Other parts of the country are included in category C.
• Among the states in category A, Hindi should be given a place of importance and its use should be 100 percent.
• Letters, emails etc. in central government offices, ministries departments should be in Indian or local languages.
• Recommendations have been made including that Hindi should be one of the official languages ​​of the UN.
