1. 5G சேவை புதிய சகாப்தம்
- தில்லியில் நடைபெற்ற இந்திய கைபேசி மாநாட்டில் 5G சேவையை பிரதமர் மோடி தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
- முதல் கட்டமாக டெல்லி, சென்னை, மும்பை, கொல்கத்தா, லக்னோ, பூனே, காந்திநகர், குருகிராம், ஹைதராபாத், பெங்களூர், சண்டிகர், அகமதாபாத், ஜாம் நகர் ஆகிய 13 நகரங்களில் பயிற்சி சேவைகளை வழங்க திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- எண்ம இந்தியா:
- மத்திய அரசின் ‘எண்ம டிஜிட்டல் இந்தியா‘ திட்டமானது கருவிகளின் விலை, இணைய தொடர்பு, இணைய சேவை கட்டணம், எண்ம சேவைகள் ஆகிய நான்கு தூண்களை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டது.
- நாட்டை வளர்ச்சி அடைய செய்வதும் மக்களுக்கு தொழில்நுட்ப வசதிகளை கொண்டு சேர்ப்பதும் எண்ம இந்தியா திட்டத்தின் முக்கிய நோக்கம்.
- உலகிலேயே இந்தியாவில் தான் இணைய சேவைக்கான கட்டணம் குறைவாக உள்ளது.
- 2014இல் 1 ஜிபி இணைய சேவை ரூபாய் 100 ஆக இருந்த நிலையில் தற்போது அதன் கட்டணம் ரூபாய் பத்தாக குறைந்துள்ளது.
- நாட்டில் ஒவ்வொருவரும் சராசரியாக மாதத்திற்கு 14 ஜிபி இணைய சேவையை பயன்படுத்துகின்றனர்.
- அதன் காரணமாக அவர்களின் செலவு ரூபாய் 4200–ல் இருந்து ரூபாய் 150 ஆக குறைந்துள்ளது.
2. மத்திய பிரதேசத்தின் இந்தூர் நாட்டில் தூய்மையான நகரம்
- மத்திய அரசின் வருடாந்திர தூய்மை மதிப்பீட்டில் நாட்டின் மிக தூய்மையான நகரத்துக்கான விருது மத்திய பிரதேசத்தின் இந்தூர் நகருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது.
- ஒரு லட்சத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட நகரங்களில் தூய்மையான நகரமாக மத்திய பிரதேசத்தின் இந்தூர் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டு விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது.
- தொடர்ந்து ஆறாவது முறையாக இந்த ஊருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- இந்த ஊரின் மக்கள் தொகை சுமார் 35 லட்சம் ஆகும்.
- ஆசியாவின் மிகப்பெரிய உயிரி இயற்கை எரிவாயு இந்த ஊரில் உள்ளது.
- நகரில் 850 வாகனங்கள் மூலம் சேர்க்கப்படும் கழிவுகள் இந்த ஆலையில் எரிக்கப்பட்டு பெறப்படும் உயிரி இயற்கை எரிவாயுவால் நகரின் அரசு பேருந்துகள் இயக்கப்படுகின்றன.
- மேலும் இயற்கை எரிவாயு விற்பனை உள்ளிட்ட நடவடிக்கைகள் மூலம் இந்தூர் மாநகராட்சி கடந்த ஆண்டு ரூபாய் 14.45 கோடி வருவாய் ஈட்டியது.
- தூய்மையான நகரங்கள் பிரிவில் இரண்டாவது இடத்தை குஜராத்தில் உள்ள சூரத்தில் தக்க வைத்துக் கொண்டது.
- மகாராஷ்டிர மாநிலம், நவி மும்பை மூன்றாவது இடம் பிடித்தது.
- ஒரு லட்சத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட தூய்மையான கங்கை நகரங்கள் பிரிவால் பிரிவில் உத்தரகாண்ட் மாநிலம் ஹரித்துவார் முதலிடம் பிடித்தது.
- அந்த பிரிவில் உத்தர பிரதேச மாநிலம் வாரணாசி இரண்டாவது இடத்தையும், உத்தரகாண்ட் மாநிலம் ரிஷிகேஷ் மூன்றாவது இடத்தையும் பிடித்தன.
3. தமிழகத்திற்கு ரூபாய் 3500 கோடி வட்டி இல்லா கடன் விடுவிப்பு
- தமிழகத்தின் பல்வேறு மூலதன செலவினங்களுக்கு மத்திய அரசு ரூபாய் 3500 கோடியை வட்டி இல்லா கடனாக விடுவித்துள்ளதாக தமிழக நிதி அமைச்சர் பழனிவேல் தியாகராஜன் தெரிவித்தார்.
- கடைசியாக ஜிஎஸ்டி கூட்டம் சண்டிகரில் நடைபெற்றது.
- இதன் அடுத்த கூட்டம் ஆகஸ்டில் மதுரையில் நடத்துவதாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.
- மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு ஒரு முறை ஜிஎஸ்டி கவுன்சில் கூட்டம் நடத்தப்பட வேண்டும்.
- கடந்த நிதிநிலை அறிக்கையில் அனைத்து மாநிலங்களுக்கும் மூலதன முதலீடாக 50 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ரூபாய் ஒரு லட்சம் கோடி வட்டி இல்லா கடனாக அளிக்கப்படும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
- இந்த சிறப்பு நிதி உதவிக்கு தமிழக அரசு ஏற்கனவே விண்ணப்பித்திருந்த நிலையில் ரூபாய் 3500 கோடி வட்டி இல்லா கடனை தமிழகத்திற்கு மத்திய அரசு விடுவித்து இருக்கிறது.
- பல ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு ‘நெப்பர்‘ என்கிற தேசிய மருந்தியல் கல்வி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் மதுரையில் அமைக்கப்படும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டும் அதற்கான நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு ஒதுக்கப்படாமல் இருந்தது.
- இதற்கு பதிலாக ‘நைமர்‘ என்கிற தேசிய மருத்துவ சாதன ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தை மதுரைக்கு வழங்குமாறு கேட்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- எய்ம்ஸ் நிறுவனமும் மதுரைக்கு வர இருப்பதால் ஹெச்சிஎல் ஹனிலென் போன்ற மருத்துவ பொறியியல் நிறுவனங்கள் மதுரையில் ஆய்வுகளை மேற்கொள்கின்ற நிலையில் ‘நைமர்’ மதுரையில் அமைந்தால் சிறப்பாக இருக்கும் என்றார் பழனிவேல் தியாகராஜன்.
4. மகாத்மா காந்தி பிறந்த நாள்
- ஐநா சபையில் மகாத்மா காந்தி பிறந்த நாள், சர்வதேச அகிம்சை தினமாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.
- அதையொட்டி நடந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் மகாத்மா காந்தியின் ‘ஹோலோகிராம்‘ வடிவ சிறப்பு தோற்றம் இடம்பெற்றது.
- இந்த கொண்டாட்டத்தின் போது ஐ.நாவுக்கான இந்தியாவின் நிரந்தர பிரதிநிதி ருசித்ரா கம்போஜ், யுனெஸ்கோ அமைதி மற்றும் நிலையான வளர்ச்சிக்கான மகாத்மா காந்தி கல்வி நிறுவனம் சார்பில் ஒரு குழு விவாதத்துக்கு ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது.
- மகாத்மா சிறப்பு தோற்றம்:

1. 5G service is a new era
- Prime Minister Modi launched the 5G service at the India Mobile Conference held in Delhi.
- In the first phase, it is planned to provide training services in 13 cities namely Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Pune, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar.
- Enma India:
- Central Government’s ‘Enma Digital India’ scheme is based on four pillars namely equipment cost, Internet connectivity, internet service charges and Nmaa services.
- The main objective of the Enma India Program is to develop the country and provide technological facilities to the people.
- India has the lowest internet service charges in the world.
- In 2014, 1 GB internet service was Rs 100, now its charge has come down to Rs 10.
- Everyone in the country uses an average of 14GB internet service per month.
- Because of that their cost has come down from Rs 4200 to Rs 150.
2. Indore in Madhya Pradesh is the cleanest city in the country
- Madhya Pradesh’s Indore has been awarded the cleanest city in the country in the Central Government’s annual cleanliness rating.
- Madhya Pradesh’s Indore was chosen as the cleanest city among cities with a population of over one lakh.
- It has been awarded to this town for the sixth time in a row.
- The population of this town is around 35 lakhs.
- Asia’s largest bio natural gas is located in this town.
- The city’s government buses are powered by bio-natural gas, which is produced by burning the waste generated by 850 vehicles in the city.
- Also, the Indore Corporation earned a revenue of Rs 14.45 crore last year through activities including the sale of natural gas.
- Surat in Gujarat retained the second position in the cleanest cities category.
- State of Maharashtra, Navi Mumbai took the third position.

3. Rs 3500 crore interest free loan waiver for Tamil Nadu
- Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan said that the central government has released Rs 3500 crore as interest-free loan for various capital expenditure of Tamil Nadu.
- The last GST meeting was held in Chandigarh.
- Its next meeting was announced to be held in Madurai in August.
- GST Council meeting should be held once in three months.
- In the last financial statement it was announced that Rs 1 lakh crore interest free loan will be given to all the states as capital investment for 50 years.
- The central government has released an interest-free loan of Rs.

4. Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi
- Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday was celebrated as the International Day of Non-Violence at the United Nations.
