1. பூக்கடை காவல் நிலையத்துக்கு ஐஎஸ்ஓ தரச்சான்று
- சென்னை பூக்கடை காவல் நிலையத்துக்கு ‘ஐஎஸ்ஓ’ தரச்சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்பட்டது.
- சென்னை பூக்கடை காவல் நிலையம் 1876-ஆம் ஆண்டு மதராஸ் பட்டணமாக இருந்தபோதே தொடங்கப்பட்ட மிகப்பழைமை வாய்ந்த காவல் நிலையம். 2006- ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்தக் காவல் நிலையத்துக்கு புதிய கட்டடம் கட்டப்பட்டது.
- இதன் தொடர்ச்சியாக, தற்போது காவல் நிலையம் தூய வெண்மை நிறமாக மாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டது.
- இந்திய தர கவுன்சில்-
- இந்திய அரசாங்கத்தால் (QCI GOI) பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் சுகாதார சான்றிதழுக்கான பணியிட மதிப்பீட்டுக்காக சர்வதேச தர கட்டுப்பாட்டுச் சான்றிதழான ஐஎஸ்ஓ 9001 : 2015 வழங்கி அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

1. 15.24 லட்சம் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் இந்தியா வந்துள்ளனர்.
- இவர்களில் அதிகபட்சமாக அமெரிக்காவிலிருந்தும், அதற்கடுத்து வங்கதேசத்திலிருந்தும் வந்துள்ளனர்.
- கரோனா பெருந்தொற்று தடுப்பு விதிமுறைகள், விசா விதிமுறைகளில் கடந்த ஆண்டு கட்டுப்பாடுகள் சில விதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தப்போதிலும் சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகள் வருகை அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
- இது தொடர்பாக மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சகம் வெளியிட்ட செய்திக் குறிப்பு:
- கடந்த ஆண்டு இந்தியா வந்த மொத்த சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகளில் 74.39 சதவீதம் பேர் 10 நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள்.
- மீதம் 25.61 சதவீதம் பேர் பிற நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் ஆவர்.
- கடந்த ஆண்டு ஜன.1- ஆம் தேதிமுதல் டிச. 31-ஆம் தேதிவரை மொத்தம் 15 லட்சத்து 24 ஆயிரத்து 469 பேர் இந்தியா வந்துள்ளனர்.
மாநாடு
1. இந்தியாவிடம் ஜி20 தலைமைப் பொறுப்பு
- இந்தியாவில் அடுத்த ஆண்டு ஜி20 உச்சி மாநாடு நடைபெற உள்ள நிலையில், அந்தக் கூட்டமைப்பின் தலைமைப் பொறுப்பை இந்தியாவிடம் இந்தோனேசியா (நவ.16) ஒப்படைத்தது.
- இந்தோனேசியாவின் பாலி தீவில் தொடங்கிய ஜி20 உச்சி மாநாடு, உறுப்பு நாடுகளின் கூட்டுத் தீர்மானத்துடன் முடிவுற்றது. அதன்பிறகு நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில், கூட்டமைப்பின் தலைமைப் பொறுப்பை பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடியிடம் இந்தோனேசிய அதிபர் ஜோகோ விடோடோ ஒப்படைத்தார்.
- அப்போது, ‘அனைத்து நாடுகளின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த முயற்சிகள் மூலமாக ஜி20 மாநாட்டை உலக நலனுக்கான செயலூக்கம் அளிக்கும் அமைப்பாக உருவாக்க முடியும்’ என்று பிரதமர் மோடி கூறினார்.
- ஜி20ல் கட்டமைப்பில் ஆர்ஜென்டினா, ஆஸ்திரேலியா, பிரேஸில், கனடா, சீனா, பிரான்ஸ், ஜெர்மனி, இந்தியா, இந்தோனேசியா, இத்தாலி, ஜப்பான், தென் கொரியா, மெக்சிகோ, ரஷியா, சௌதி அரேபியா, தென்னாப்பிரிக்கா, துருக்கி, பிரிட்டன், அமெரிக்கா, ஐரோப்பிய யூனியன் ஆகிய 20 நாடுகள் அங்கம் வகிக்கின்றன.
- உலகின் சுமார் 85 சதவீத பொருளாதார மதிப்பையும், சுமார் 75 சதவீத வர்த்தகத்தையும், சுமார் 65 சதவீத மக்கள் தொகையையும் ஜி20 கூட்டமைப்பு நாடுகளே கொண்டுள்ளன.
- தலைமைப் பொறுப்பு ஒப்படைப்பு:
- கூட்டமைப்பின் தலைமைப் பொறுப்பை வரும் டிசம்பர் 1-ஆம் தேதியிலிருந்து அதிகாரபூர்வமாக இந்தியா ஏற்கவுள்ளது.
- அடுத்த உச்சி மாநாடு தலைநகர் தில்லியில் 2023-ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 9, 10 ஆகிய தேதிகளில் நடத்தப்பட உள்ளது.
- ‘ஒரே பூமி; ஒரே குடும்பம்; ஒரே எதிர்காலம் என்ற இந்தியாவின் ஜி20 தலைமைப் பொறுப்பு கருப்பொருளில் அடங்கியுள்ளன என்று பிரதமர் மோடி கூறினார்.
ராக்கெட்
1. ‘விக்ரம்–எஸ்‘ ராக்கெட்
- இந்திய விண்வெளி வரலாற்றில் முதல் முறையாக, தனியார் புத்தாக்க நிறுவனம் வடிவமைத்த ‘விக்ரம் – எஸ்’ ராக்கெட், ஆந்திர மாநிலம், ஸ்ரீஹரிகோட்டாவிலிருந்து (நவ.18) விண்ணில் ஏவப்படவுள்ளது.
- உலகளாவிய விண்வெளிவர்த்தகத்துக்கு ஈடு கொடுக்கும் வகையில், விண்வெளி ஆய்வில் தனியார் நிறுவனங்களின் பங்களிப்பை ஊக்குவிக்க இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் (இஸ்ரோ) முடிவு செய்தது.
- இதற்காக 2020- ஆம் ஆண்டு ‘இன்ஸ்பேஸ்’ என்ற அமைப்பு நிறுவப்பட்டது. இதன்மூலம் ராக்கெட், செயற்கைக்கோள்களை வடிவமைக்கும் பணிகளை மேற்கொள்ள தனியார் நிறுவனங்களுக்கும் அனுமதி வழங்கப்பட்டது.
- அதன்படி, தெலங்கானா மாநிலம், ஹைதராபாதைச் சேர்ந்த ‘ஸ்கைரூட்’ எனும் ஏரோஸ்பேஸ் நிறுவனம், தனது ராக்கெட்டுகளை விண்ணில் செலுத்துவதற்காக இஸ்ரோவுடன் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொண்டது.
- தற்போது வெவ்வேறு எடைகளை சுமந்து செல்லக்கூடிய மூன்றுவித ராக்கெட்டுகள் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- அவற்றுக்கு இந்திய விண்வெளி திட்டத்தின் தந்தையான மறைந்த விஞ்ஞானி விக்ரம் சாராபாய் நினைவாக ‘விக்ரம்’ என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டது.
- அதில், அதிகபட்சம் 480 கிலோ எடையை சுமந்து செல்லக் கூடிய ‘விக்ரம்- எஸ்’ ராக்கெட்டை சோதனை முயற்சியாக விண்ணில் செலுத்துவதற்கு முடிவானது.
- இந்தியா மற்றும் வெளிநாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்கள் குழு வடிவமைத்த 3 ஆய்வு சாதனங்கள் இந்த ராக்கெட்டுடன் சேர்த்து அனுப்பப்படவுள்ளன.
- அவை புவி மேற்பரப்பில் இருந்து 120 கிமீ தொலைவில் நிலைநிறுத்தப்பட்டு, ஆய்வுப் பணிகளுக்கு பயன்படுத்தப்படவுள்ளன.
2. நிலவுக்கு ஆய்வுக் கலம்:
- நிலவுக்கு மீண்டும் மனிதர்களை அனுப்புவதற்கு முன்னோடியாக ஒரு விண் வெளிக்கலத்தை அமெரிக்க விண்வெளி ஆய்வு நிறுவனமான நாசா வெற்றிகரமாக விண்ணில் செலுத்தியது.
- ஃபுளோரிடா மாகாணம், கேப்கனாவெரலில் உள்ள ஏவுதளத்திலிருந்து அதிக சக்தி கொண்ட ராக்கெட் மூலம் அந்த ஆய்வுக்கலம் அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- ‘ஆர்டமிஸ்-1’ என்ற இந்த திட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்துவதற்காக கடந்த ஆகஸ்டில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட முயற்சி இரு முறை ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டது.
- அப்பல்லோ விண்கலத்திட்டங்கள் நிறுத்தப்பட்ட 50 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு, முதல் முறையாக நிலவுக்கு மனிதர்களை அனுப்புவதற்கான இந்த ஆய்வு திட்டத்தை நாசா உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.
- அதற்கு முன்னோட்டமாக, சோதனை முறையில் 3 மனித மாதிரிகளுடன் அந்த ஆய்வுக்கலத்தை ஏவ திட்டமிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.

1. நீதி ஆயோக் உறுப்பினராக அரவிந்த் விர்மாணி நியமனம்
- நீதி ஆயோக்கின் முழு நேர உறுப்பினராக முன்னாள் தலைமைப் பொருளாதார ஆலோசகர் அரவிந்த் விர்மாணி நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
- அரவிந்த் விர்மாணி நிதி அமைச்சகத்தில் தலைமைப் பொருளாதார ஆலோசகராகவும், ரிசர்வ் வங்கியின் தொழில்நுட்ப ஆலோசனைக் குழுவிலும் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.
- இந்தியா, வங்கதேசம், இலங்கை மற்றும் பூடானை பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தும் வகையில் சர்வதேச நிதியத்துக்கான (ஐஎம்எஃப்) நிர்வாக இயக்குநராக இருந்துள்ளார்.

1. ISO Certificate for Pookadai Police Station
- Chennai Pookadai Police Station awarded ‘ISO’ certificate.
- Chennai Pookadai Police Station is the oldest police station established in 1876 when Madras was still a city. A new building was constructed for this police station in 2006.
- As a result, now the police station has been changed to pure white color.
- Quality Council of India-
- International Quality Control Certificate ISO 9001 : 2015 has been awarded by the Government of India (QCI GOI) for workplace assessment for safety and health certification.

1. 15.24 lakh tourists visited India.
- Maximum number of them came from USA followed by Bangladesh.
- Tourist arrivals have increased even though some restrictions were imposed last year in terms of corona virus prevention regulations and visa regulations.
- Press release issued by Union Ministry of Home Affairs in this regard:
- 74.39 percent of the total tourist arrivals in India last year were from 10 countries.
- Remaining 25.61 percent are from other countries.
- Last year from Jan. 1 to Dec. A total of 15 lakh 24 thousand 469 people have come to India till 31st.

1. India has G20 leadership responsibility
- With the G20 summit to be held in India next year, Indonesia (Nov.16) handed over the leadership of the confederation to India.
- The G20 Summit which started in Bali Island, Indonesia concluded with a joint resolution by the member states. In the event that followed, Indonesian President Joko Widodo handed over the leadership of the federation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- At that time, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘Through the combined efforts of all countries, the G20 conference can be made an active body for global welfare’.
- Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, Britain, United States, European Union are members of G20 structure.
- The G20 countries account for about 85 percent of the world’s economic value, about 75 percent of trade, and about 65 percent of the population.

- India will officially take over the leadership of the federation from December 1.

Rocket
1. ‘Vikram-S’ rocket
- For the first time in Indian space history, the ‘Vikram-S’ rocket designed by a private innovation company will be launched from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh (November 18).
- Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) decided to encourage the participation of private companies in space exploration to offset the global space trade.
- In the year 2020, an organization named ‘Inspace’ was established for this purpose. Through this, permission was also given to private companies to design rockets and satellites.
- Accordingly, ‘Skyroot’, an aerospace company based in Hyderabad, Telangana, entered into an MoU with ISRO to launch its rockets.
- Currently three types of rockets are designed which can carry different weights.
- They were named ‘Vikram’ after the late scientist Vikram Sarabhai, the father of the Indian space programme.
- In it, the ‘Vikram-S’ rocket, which can carry a maximum payload of 480 kg, has been launched as a trial attempt.
- 3 probes designed by a team of students from India and abroad will be sent along with this rocket.
- They will be deployed at a distance of 120 km from the Earth’s surface and will be used for research purposes.
2. Spacecraft to Moon:
- The American space agency NASA has successfully launched a spacecraft, a precursor to sending humans back to the moon.
- The probe was launched by a high-powered rocket from the launch pad at Cape Canaveral, Florida.
- The attempt to implement this project, ‘Artemis-1’, which was launched last August, was postponed twice.
- 50 years after the end of the Apollo space program, NASA developed this exploration program to send humans to the moon for the first time.
- Prior to that, it was planned to launch the probe with 3 human samples in experimental mode.
- However, the project was shelved due to rocket fuel leakage and engine failure.

1. Appointment of Arvind Virmani as a member of Justice Aayog
- Former Chief Economic Adviser Arvind Virmani has been appointed as a full-time member of Justice Aayog.
- Arvind Virmani has served as Chief Economic Adviser to the Ministry of Finance and on the Technical Advisory Committee of the Reserve Bank.
- He has been the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) representing India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government’s main economic advisory body Neeti Aayog currently has V.K. Saraswat, Ramesh Chand and VK Paul are members.
