மாநில செய்திகள்  

1. தகைசால் தமிழர் விருது  

• நிகழாண்டுக்கான தமிழக அரசின் தகைசால் தமிழர் விருதுக்கு இந்திய கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் மூத்த தலைவர்  ஆர்.நல்லகண்ணு  தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். 
• தமிழகத்துக்கும் தமிழினத்தின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு மாபெரும் பங்காற்றிய அவர்களை பெருமைப்படுத்தும் வகையில் தகைசால் தமிழர் என்ற பெயரில் புதிய விருது  2021 ஆம் ஆண்டு  முதல் தமிழக அரசால் வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.  

2. பாலின சமத்துவ விழிப்புணர்வு 

• தமிழகத்தில்  9 முதல் பிளஸ் டூ வரை பயிலும் மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கு பாலின சமத்துவம் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையில் புதிய திட்டத்தை சென்னையில் உள்ள அமெரிக்க தூதரகத்தின் துணைத்தூதர் ஜீடித் ரேவின் சனிக்கிழமை தொடக்கி வைத்தார். 

• ‘நம்பிக்கையையும் மரியாதையையும் ஏற்படுத்தும் ஆண்கள்’ (Men Impacting  Trust and Respect-MITR) என்ற கருப்பொருளில் உருவாகியுள்ள இந்த திட்டம் ‘புத்ரி இலக்கு’  என்ற பெயரில் அவதார் மனிதவள அறக்கட்டளை என்ற அமைப்பின் சார்பில் செயல்படுத்தப்பட உள்ளது. 
• அறக்கட்டளையின் சார்பில் அரசு பள்ளிகளில் ‘புராஜெக்ட் புத்ரி’ என்ற திட்டம் கடந்த 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. 
• இதன் மூலம் எட்டாம் வகுப்பு முதல் +2 வகுப்பு வரை பயிலும் 5 ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவிகளுக்கு கல்வி முடிவெடுக்கும் திறன், மேடைகளில் பேசுவது, பிரச்சனைகளில் முடிவெடுக்கும் திறன், குழு விவாதம் போன்ற பல திறன்களில் பயிற்சி வழங்கப்படுகின்றன.  
• இந்த நிலையில் இந்த திட்டம் தொடங்கப்பட்டு ஐந்து ஆண்டுகள் நிறைவடைந்ததை தொடர்ந்து தற்போது ‘புத்ரி இலக்கு’  என்ற பெயரில் திட்டத்தை தொடங்கியுள்ளன.  

3. மகளிர் இலவச பயண பேருந்துகளுக்கு பிங்க் நிறம்  

• மகளிர் இலவசமாக பயணம் செய்யும் சாதாரண கட்டண பேருந்துகளை எளிதில் அடையாளம் காணும் வகையில் பேருந்துகளின் முகப்பு பகுதியில் பின்க் நிறம் அடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• வண்ணம் தீட்டப்பட்ட  50 சாதாரண கட்டண பேருந்துகள் இயக்கப்பட்டன. 

மத்திய செய்திகள் 

1. குடியரசு துணைத் தலைவராக ஜெகதீஷ் தன்கர் தேர்வு  

• குடியரசு துணைத் தலைவர் தேர்தலில் பாஜக தலைமையிலான தேசிய ஜனநாயக கூட்டணி வேட்பாளர் ஜெகதீஷ் தன்கர் வெற்றி பெற்றார். 
• அவர் நாட்டின் 14 வது  குடியரசு துணைத் தலைவராக ஆகஸ்ட் 11ஆம் தேதி பதவி ஏற்பார்.  
• தேர்தலில் வாக்களித்த 725 எம்பி களில் 528 பேர் 74.36% ஜகதீப் தன்கருக்கும், 182 பேர் மார்க்கெட் ஆல்வாவுக்கும் வாக்களித்தனர். 

• கடந்த 1997 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கு பிறகு நடைபெற்ற குடியரசு துணைத் தலைவர் தேர்தல்களில் அதிக வாக்குகள் வித்தியாசத்தில் வெற்றி பெற்றவர் ஜெகதீப் தன்கர் தான்.  
• மேலும் பைரோன் சிங் ஷெகாவத்துக்குப் பிறகு ராஜஸ்தானில் இருந்து குடியரசுத் துணைத் தலைவராக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட இரண்டாவது நபர் என்ற பெருமையையும் ஜகதீப் தங்கர் பெற்றார். 

2. எஸ்எஸ்எல்வி ராக்கெட்  

• புவி கண்காணிப்பு செயற்கைக்கோளான இஓஎஸ்–02 உடன் எஸ்எஸ்எல்வி ராக்கெட் ஸ்ரீஹரிகோட்டாவில் இருந்து விண்ணில் ஏவப்படுகிறது. 
• சிறிய ரக செயற்கைக்கோளுக்காக வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட எடை குறைந்த முதலாவது ராக்கெட் திட்டம் இது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 
• சிறிய ரக எஸ்எஸ்எல்வி  (Small Satellite Launch  Vehicle-SSLV) ராக்கெட்டுகளை இஸ்ரோ புதிதாக வடிவமைத்துள்ளது. 
• இதன் எடை அதிகபட்சம் 120 டன்.  
• இம்முறை அந்த வகை ராக்கெட்,  இஒஎஸ்-02 (மைக்ரோசாட்-2ஏ) செயற்கைக்கோளுடன் ஏவப்பட உள்ளது. 

• இஒஎஸ்-02 செயற்கைக்கோளானது 145 கிலோ எடை கொண்டது. இது கடலோர நிலப் பயன்பாடு, ஒழுங்குமுறை, நகர்ப்புற, கிராமப்புற மேலாண்மை, பயன்பாடற்ற நிலங்களுக்கான எல்லை வரைபடம் தயாரிப்பு உள்ளிட்ட பணிகளுக்கு உதவியாக இருக்கும். 
• கல்வி சார் செயற்கைக்கோள்:  
• இதனுடன் ஸ்பேஸ் கிட்ஸ் இந்தியா அமைப்பின் மூலம் ‘ஆசாதி சாட்’  (8 கிலோ) எனும் கல்விசார் செயற்கைக்கோளும் விண்ணில் செலுத்தப்படுகிறது. 
• இந்த செயற்கைக்கோள் நாடு முழுவதும் கிராமங்களில் உள்ள 75 பள்ளிகளை சேர்ந்த மாணவிகளின் கூட்டு இணைப்பில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 

3. சிராவயலில் மணிமண்டபம்  

• மகாத்மா காந்தியடிகள்-ஜீவா சந்திப்பின் அடையாளமாக  சிவகங்கை மாவட்டம் சிராவயலில்  தமிழக அரசு சார்பில் மணிமண்டபம் அமைக்கப்படும் என்று தமிழக முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் அறிவித்தார். 
• இந்திய கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் 25 வது மாநில மாநாடு  திருப்பூரில் நடைபெறுகிறது.  

4. தலாய்லாமாவுக்கு லடாக்கின் உயரிய விருது  

• திபத்திய பௌத்த மத தலைவர் தலாய்லாமாவுக்கு லடாக்கின் உயரிய விருதான  ‘திபல் ரன்கம் டஸ்டன்’  விருது வழங்கி  கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• யூனியன் பிரதேசத்தில் மனிதநேயத்துக்கு அவர் ஆற்றிவரும் சிறந்த பங்களிப்பை பாராட்டும் வகையில் இந்த விருது அவருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.  

5. பருவநிலை மாநாடு  

• எகிப்தில் நடப்பாண்டு இறுதியில் நடைபெற உள்ள பருவநிலை மாநாட்டில் ‘சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கான வாழ்க்கை முறை’ (லைஃப்) என்ற கருப்பொருளின் அடிப்படையில் காட்சியரங்கை இந்தியா அமைக்க உள்ளது.  
• கடந்த ஆண்டுக்கான கூட்டம் க்ளாஸ்கோவில் நடைபெற்றது. கூட்டத்தில் பேசிய பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி ‘சுற்றுச் சூழலுக்கான வாழ்க்கை முறை’  என்ற சர்வதேச திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். 
• 27ஆவது பருவநிலை மாநாடு எகிப்தின் ஷரம்–எல்-ஷேக் நகரில்  நவம்பர் 6 முதல் 18ஆம் தேதி வரை நடைபெற உள்ளது.  

6. வேளாண் ஏற்றுமதி 31%: அதிகரிப்பு  

• மத்திய அரசு இந்தியாவின் வேளாண் மற்றும் பதப்படுத்தப்பட்ட உணவுப் பொருள்களின் ஏற்றுமதி நடப்பு நிதியாண்டின் முதல் மூன்று மாதங்களில் 31 சதவீதம் (7408 மில்லியன் டாலர்) அதிகரித்துள்ளது.  
• புதிய பழங்கள் மற்றும் காய்கறிகள் ஏற்றுமதி  நான்கு சதவீத  வளர்ச்சியை பதிவு செய்துள்ளது. 
• அதே சமயம் பதப்படுத்தப்பட்ட பழங்கள் மற்றும் காய்கறிகள் ஏற்றுமதியும் 59.71% வளர்ச்சியடைந்துள்ளது. 
• நடப்பு நிதியாண்டின் முதல் காலாண்டில் இறைச்சி பால் மற்றும் கோழிப் பொருள்களின் ஏற்றுமதி  9.5 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது. பிற தானியங்களின் ஏற்றுமதி  29 சதவீதமாக வளர்ச்சியை பதிவு செய்துள்ளது. 

7. அமெரிக்க நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு இந்திய வம்சாவளி நீதிபதி  

• அமெரிக்காவின் ஒன்பதாவது சர்க்யூட் மேல்முறையீட்டு நீதிமன்றத்தில் இந்திய வம்சாவளியை சேர்ந்த  ரூபாலி ஹெச் தேசாய்  நீதிபதியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். 
• சக்தி வாய்ந்த அந்த நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு தெற்கு ஆசியாவை பூர்வீகமாக கொண்ட ஒரு நீதிபதி நியமிக்கப்படுவது இதுவே முதல் முறையாகும். 
• கலிப்போர்னியா மாகாணம், சான் பிரான்சிஸ்கோ நகரில் அமைந்துள்ள ஒன்பதாவது சர்க்யூட் நீதிமன்றம், அமெரிக்காவின் 13 மேல்முறையீட்டு நீதிமன்றங்களில் மிகவும் முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்தது. 

8. 150 பாரம்பரிய இடங்களில் தேசியக்கொடி 

• சுதந்திர தின விழாவையொட்டி ஆகஸ்ட் 15ஆம் தேதி 150 பாரம்பரிய சின்னங்களின் இடங்களில் தேசியக்கொடியேற்ற இந்திய தொல்லியல் துறை முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.  
• சுதந்திர தின அம்ருத பெருவிழாவை முன்னிட்டு இந்திய தொழில் துறையின் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ள 150 பாரம்பரிய சின்னங்கள், இடங்களில் தேசியக்கொடி ஏற்றப்படும்.  
• ஃபதேபூர் சிக்ரி, போர்பந்தரில் உள்ள மகாத்மா காந்தி பிறந்த இடம், லக்னோவில் உள்ள பிரிட்டிஷார் காலத்திய குடியிருப்பு, ஃபைஸாபாதின் குலாப்பரி, வேலூர் கோட்டை, வாரங்கள் கோட்டை, சித்ரதுர்கா, அஜந்தா எல்லோரா குகைகள் உள்ளிட்ட இடங்களில் தேசியக்கொடி ஏற்றுவதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை தொல்லியல் துறை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது. 

9. இந்தியாவின் வளர்ச்சி பாதையை விவரிக்கும் இணைய வழி திட்டம்  

• 75 ஆவது சுதந்திர தின கொண்டாட்டத்தை குறிக்கும் வகையில் நாட்டின் வளர்ச்சி பாதையை விவரிக்கும் வகையிலான இணையவழி திட்டம் ஒன்றை ‘google’ அறிமுகம் செய்துள்ளது.  
• ‘இந்தியா கி உதான்’ என்ற திட்டத்தின் கீழ் இந்தியாவின் வளர்ச்சி பாதையை குறிக்கும் 21 கதைகள், 120 வகையான படங்கள் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு விவரங்கள் அதில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.

2. இந்தியாவுக்கு வெள்ளி 

• கொலம்பியாவின் காளி நகரில் வெள்ளிக்கிழமை நடைபெற்ற 20 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்டோர் உலக தடகள சாம்பியன்ஷிப் போட்டி மும்முறை தாண்டுதலில் 16.15 தூரம் தாண்டி வெள்ளி பதக்கம் வென்ற இந்திய வீரர் செல்வ பிரபு திருமாறன்.

1. Thakaisal Tamil Award 

• Senior leader of the Communist Party of India R. Nallakannu has been selected and announced for Tamil Nadu Award due to Tamil Nadu government’s ban for this year. 
• A new award in the name of Thakaisal Tamil is being given by the Tamil Nadu government from 2021 to honor those who have contributed greatly to the development of Tamil Nadu and the Tamil community. 

2. Gender Equality Awareness 

• Deputy Consul General of the US Embassy in Chennai Jedith Raveen on Saturday launched a new program to create awareness about gender equality among the students of Class 9 to Class 12 in Tamil Nadu. 
• This project, developed on the theme of ‘Men Impacting Trust and Respect-MITR’, is to be implemented under the name of ‘Putri Ilakku’ under the name of Avatar Manpower Trust. 
• On behalf of the foundation, a project called ‘Project Putri’ has been implemented in government schools since 2017. 
• Through this, more than 5000 female students studying from Class 8 to Class 12 are trained in many skills like academic decision making, public speaking, problem solving, group discussion etc. 
• At this stage, following the completion of five years since the project was launched, they have now started the project under the name of ‘Putri Ilakku’. 

3. Pink color for women free travel buses 

• The front of the buses are painted in pink to make it easy to identify the normal fare buses where women travel free. 
• 50 painted normal fare buses were operated. 

Central News 

1. Election of Jagadish Thankar as the Vice President of the Republic 

• BJP-led National Democratic Alliance candidate Jagadish Dhankar won the vice-presidential election. 
• He will take office as the 14th Vice President of the country on August 11. 

• Out of 725 MPs who voted in the election, 528 voted 74.36% for Jagdeep Dhankar and 182 voted for Market Alva. 
• Jagadeep Dhankar was the winner of the Vice-Presidential elections held after 1997 with the largest margin of votes. 
• Also Jagdeep Thangar became the second person from Rajasthan to be elected Vice President after Byron Singh Shekhawat. 

2. SSLV rocket 

• SSLV rocket with Earth observation satellite EOS-02 launched from Sriharikota. 
• It is noteworthy that this is the first light weight rocket project designed for a small satellite. 
• ISRO has newly designed Small Satellite Launch Vehicle-SSLV rockets. 
• Its maximum weight is 120 tons. 

• This time the rocket will be launched with EOS-02 (Microsat-2A) satellite. 
• The EOS-02 satellite weighs 145 kg.  
• It will help in coastal land use, regulation, urban and rural management, demarcation of waste lands etc. 
• Educational Satellite: 
• Along with this, an educational satellite named ‘Azadi Sat’ (8 kg) is being launched by Space Kids India. 

• It is to be noted that this satellite has been developed in a joint venture of students from 75 schools in villages across the country. 

3. Mani Mandapam in Shiravayal 

• Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin announced that as a symbol of the meeting between Mahatma Gandhiji and Jiva, a Mani Mandapam will be constructed on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government at Shiravayal in Sivagangai district. 
• The 25th State Conference of the Communist Party of India is being held at Tirupur. 

4. Ladakh’s highest award to the Dalai Lama 

• Tibetan Buddhist leader Dalai Lama has been honored with Ladakh’s highest award ‘Tipal Rangam Dustan’. 
• This award is given to him in recognition of his outstanding contribution to humanity in the Union Territory. 

5. Climate Change Conference 

• India is planning to set up an exhibition on the theme of ‘Life for Environment’ at the Climate Conference to be held in Egypt later this year. 
• Last year’s meeting was held in Glasgow. Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an international program called ‘Environmental Lifestyle’. 
• The 27th Climate Conference is scheduled to be held in Sharam-el-Sheikh, Egypt from November 6 to 18. 

6. Agricultural Exports 31%: Increase 

• Central Government India’s exports of agricultural and processed food products increased by 31 percent ($7408 million) in the first three months of the current fiscal year. 
• Exports of fresh fruits and vegetables registered a four percent growth. 
• At the same time export of processed fruits and vegetables also grew by 59.71%. 
• Exports of meat milk and poultry products increased by 9.5 percent in the first quarter of the current financial year.  

• Exports of other grains registered a growth of 29 percent. 

7. Judge of Indian origin to US Court 

• Rupali H Desai, an Indian-origin judge, has been appointed to the US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. 
• This is the first time that a judge of South Asian origin has been appointed to the powerful court. 

• The Ninth Circuit Court, located in San Francisco, California, is the most important of the 13 United States Courts of Appeals. 

8. National flag at 150 heritage sites 

• Department of Archeology of India has decided to hoist the national flag at 150 heritage sites on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day. 
• The National Flag will be hoisted at 150 traditional symbols and places under the control of the Indian Industry Department on the occasion of the Independence Day Amruta Festival. 

• The Department of Archeology is making preparations for hoisting the national flag at Fatehpur Sikri, Mahatma Gandhi’s Birthplace in Porbandar, British Settlement in Lucknow, Gulapari in Faizabad, Vellore Fort, Weeks Fort, Chitradurga, Ajanta Ellora Caves. 

9. Internet Route Plan to describe India’s growth path 

• To mark the 75th Independence Day celebrations, Google has introduced an e-commerce project that describes the development path of the country. 
• It contains various details including 21 stories and 120 types of films representing India’s development path under the program ‘India Ki Udhan’.

• India’s Vinesh Phogat, Ravi Dahiya and Naveen won gold in wrestling at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
