- ஐந்தாம் தலைமுறை அலைக்கற்றை தொழில்நுட்பத்தின் மூலமாக நாட்டின் பொருளாதார மதிப்பு 15 ஆண்டுகளில் சுமார் 35 லட்சம் கோடி வளர்ச்சியடையும் என்று பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

- உள்நாட்டு வடிவமைப்பில் உருவான போர்க்கப்பல்களை அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங்க் தொடங்கி வைத்தார். பாதுகாப்பு துறைக்கு தேவையான போர்க்கப்பல்கள் மற்றும் நீர்முழ்கி கப்பல்களை தயாரித்து தரும் மசகான் கப்பல் நிறுவனம் இந்த இரு கப்பலைகளையும் வடிவமைத்துள்ளது. ஐஎன்எஸ் சூரத் மற்றும் ஐஎன்எஸ் உதய்கிரி ஆகிய இரண்டு கப்பல்களும் அறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஒரே நேரத்தில் இரண்டு போர் கப்பல்களை அறிமுகம் செய்வது இதுவே முதல் முறையாகும். இது சூரத் போர்க்கப்பல் 15பி டெஸ்ட் ராயர்ஸ் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட 4-வது கப்பலாகும்.

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the country’s economic value will grow by about Rs 35 lakh crore in 15 years through fifth generation wave technology.

- Five judges to be promoted to Chief Justice of India.
