1. உலக சுற்றுச்சூழல் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு, சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்புக்கு சிறப்பான பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியமைக்காக மதுரை, விழுப்புரம், திருவண்ணாலை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர்கள் மற்றும் கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள், தொழிற்சாலைகள், அரசு சாரா நிறுவனங்களுக்கு தமிழக முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் நேற்று பசுமை விருதுகளை வழங்கினார். மேலும், தமிழ்நாடு மாசுக் கட்டுப்பாட்டு வாரிய அதிகாரிகளின் பயன்பாட்டுக்காக, ரூ.3.42 கோடி மதிப்பில் 25 மின் வாகனங்களையும் முதல்வர் வழங்கினார்.
2. உலக சுற்றுச்சூழல் தினம் ஜூன் 5-ம் தேதி (இன்று) கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இதையொட்டி, சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்புக்கு சிறப்பான பங்களிப்பு வழங்கியமைக்காக மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர்கள் டாக்டர் எஸ்.அனீஷ் சேகர் (மதுரை), த.மோகன் (விழுப்புரம்), பா.முருகேஷ் (திருவண்ணாமலை) ஆகியோருக்கு 2021-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான பசுமை விருதுகளையும் முதல்வர் வழங்கினார். மாசு தடுப்பு மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பில் சிறப்பாகச் செயலாற்றி, விருதுக்குத் தேர்வான 79 அமைப்புகளில், ராணிப்பேட்டை டேனரி எஃப்ளுயன்ட் ட்ரீட்மென்ட் நிறுவனம், பெருந்துறை அரசு ஆண்கள் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி, திருப்பூர் சுலோச்சனா காட்டன் ஸ்பின்னிங் மில்ஸ் நிறுவனம், நீலகிரி மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள `க்ளீன் குன்னூர்’ அமைப்பு, போரூர் அரசு மகளிர் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளி ஆகியவற்றுக்கு 2021-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான பசுமை முதன்மையாளர் விருதுடன், ரூ.1 லட்சத்துக்கான காசோலையையும் முதல்வர் வழங்கினார்.
3. சென்னை துறைமுகத்தில் இருந்து புதுச்சேரிக்கு தனியார் நிறுவனத்தின் சொகுசு பயணிகள் கப்பல் சேவை திட்டத்தை முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் நேற்று (4.6.2022) தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.‘கோர்டிலியா குரூஸ்’ என்ற தனியார் நிறுவனத்தின் மூலம் சென்னையில் இருந்து விசாகப்பட்டினம், புதுச்சேரி மற்றும் ஆழ்கடல் பகுதிகளுக்கு சொகுசு கப்பலில் பயணிக்கும் வகையிலான திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்பட உள்ளது. இதற்கான தொடக்க விழா சென்னை துறைமுகத்தில் நேற்று நடைபெற்றது.
4. நாட்டில் பிறக்கும் 1,000 குழந்தைகளில் ஓராண்டுக்குள் இறக்கும் குழந்தைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை 28-ஆகக் குறைந்துள்ளது. ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட பகுதியில் பிறக்கும் 1,000 குழந்தைகளில் ஓராண்டை எட்டுவதற்குள் எத்தனை குழந்தைகள் இறக்கின்றன என்பதே குழந்தை இறப்பு விகிதம் எனக் கணக்கிடப்படுகிறது. கடந்த 2020-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான புதிய தரவுகளை இந்தியப் பதிவாளா் இயக்குநரகம் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. அதன்படி, நாட்டில் குழந்தை இறப்பு விகம்த 28-ஆகக் குறைந்துள்ளது. 1971-ஆம் ஆண்டில் இது 129-ஆக இருந்த நிலையில், தற்போது நான்கில் ஒரு பங்காகக் குறைந்துள்ளது. கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளில் குழந்தை இறப்பு விகிதம் தொடா்ந்து குறைந்து வருகிறது. 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு குழந்தை இறப்பு விகிதம் 44-ஆக இருந்த நிலையில், தற்போது 28-ஆகக் குறைந்துள்ளது. அதே காலகட்டத்தில் கிராமப் பகுதிகளில் குழந்தை இறப்பு விகிதம் 48-இல் இருந்து 31-ஆகவும், நகரப்பகுதிகளில் 29-இல் இருந்து 19-ஆகவும் சரிவடைந்துள்ளது. கிராமம் மற்றும் நகரப் பகுதிகளில் கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளில் குழந்தை இறப்பு விகிதம் சுமாா் 35 சதவீதம் குறைந்துள்ளது. எனினும், 36 குழந்தைகளில் ஒரு குழந்தை ஓராண்டுக்குள் இறக்கும் சூழல் நிலவுவதாகத் தரவுகளில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கடந்த 2020-ஆம் ஆண்டில் மத்திய பிரதேசத்தில் அதிக குழந்தை இறப்பு விகிதமும் (43), மிஸோரத்தில் குறைந்த இறப்பு விகிதமும் (3) பதிவானதாக அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நாட்டில் பிறப்பு விகிதமும் தொடா்ந்து குறைந்து வருகிறது. கடந்த 1971-ஆம் ஆண்டில் 36.9-ஆக இருந்த பிறப்பு விகிதம், 2020-ஆம் ஆண்டில் 19.5-ஆகக் குறைந்துள்ளது. அதே வேளையில், நகரப்பகுதிகளுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் கிராமப் பகுதிகளில் பிறப்பு விகிதம் அதிகமாகவே உள்ளது. கடந்த 2011-இல் பிறப்பு விகிதம் 21.8-ஆக இருந்தது. 2020-ஆம் ஆண்டில் அது 19.5-ஆகக் குறைந்துள்ளது. அதே காலகட்டத்தில் கிராமப் பகுதிகளில் பிறப்பு விகிதம் 23.3-இல் இருந்து 21.1-ஆகவும், நகரப்பகுதிகளில் 17.6-இல் இருந்து 16.1-ஆகவும் குறைந்துள்ளது.

5. விண்வெளியில் டியாங்காங் என்ற தனி விண்வெளி நிலையத்தை உருவாக்கும் பணியில் சீனா ஈடுபட்டுள்ளது. இதற்காக பல கட்டங்களாக வீரர்களை விண்வெளிக்கு அனுப்பி சீனா அங்கு பணிகளை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது. ஏற்கனவே இதற்காக பல முறை விண்வெளிக்கு அனுப்பியுள்ள சீனா கடந்த வருடம் அக்டோபர் மாதம் ஷென்சோ 13 விண்கலத்தில் 3 விண்வெளி வீரர்களை அனுப்பியது. அவர்கள் 3 பெரும் விண்வெளியில் இருந்தபடி பூமியில் உள்ள சீன வல்லுனர்களுடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றி வந்தனர். 6 மாதங்கள் நிறைவடைந்த நிலையில் ஷென்சோ 13 குழுவினர் மங்கோலியாவின் வடக்குப் பகுதியில் உள்ள கோபி பாலைவனத்தில் தரையிறங்கி சமீபத்தில் பூமிக்கு திரும்பினர். இந்த நிலையில் மீண்டும் அடுத்த கட்டமாக சீனா தனது புதிய விண்வெளி நிலையத்திற்கு மேலும் மூன்று விண்வெளி வீரர்களை ஜூன் மாதத்தில் அனுப்ப ஏற்கெனவே திட்டமிட்டு இருந்தது. அதன்படி, வடமேற்கு மாகாணமான கன்சுவில் உள்ள ஜியுகுவான் செயற்கைக்கோள் ஏவுகணை மையத்தில் இருந்து உள்ளூர் நேரப்படி காலை 10:44 மணிக்கு (0244 GMT) 3 சீன விண்வெளி வீரர்களுடன் லாங் மார்ச்-2எஃப் ராக்கெட்விண்ணில் விண்ணில் ஏவப்படும் என்று சீன விண்வெளி ஏஜென்சி அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். ஷென்சோ 14 விண்கலத்தில் செல்லவுள்ள இவர்கள் ஆறு மாதங்கள் விண்ணில் தங்கியிருந்து விண்வெளி நிலையத்தின் வெண்டியன் மற்றும் மெங்டியன் என்ற இரண்டு தொகுதிகளை சேர்க்கும் பணியில் ஈடுபடுவார்கள் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
6. உலகக் கோப்பை துப்பாக்கி சுடுதலில் கலப்பு அணிகள் பிரிவில் இந்தியாவின் ஸ்வப்னில் குசலே, ஆஷி சவுக்சி ஜோடி தங்கப் பதக்கம் வென்றது. அஜர்பைஜானின் பாகு நகரில் நடைபெற்று வரும் இந்தத் தொடரில் கலப்பு அணிகளுக்கான 50 மீட்டர் ரைபிள் 3 பொசிஷன் பிரிவில் இந்தியாவின் ஸ்வப்னில் குசலே, ஆஷி சவுக்சி ஜோடி 16-12 என்ற கணக்கில் உக்ரைனின் செர்ஹி குலிஷ், தரியா டைகோவா ஜோடியை வீழ்த்தி தங்கப் பதக்கம் வென்றது. இந்தத் தொடரில் இந்தியா கைப்பற்றிய 2-வது தங்கப் பதக்கம் இதுவாகும். மகளிருக்கான 10 மீட்டர் ஏர் ரைபிள் பிரிவிலும் இந்தியா தங்கம் வென்றிருந்தது. நேற்றுடன் நிறைவடைந்த இந்தத் தொடரில் பதக்கப் பட்டியலில் இந்தியா 2 தங்கம், 3 வெள்ளியுடன் 2-வது இடம் பிடித்தது. கொரியா 3 தங்கம், 3 வெண்கலத்துடன் முதலிடம் பிடித்தது.

1. 6. Kusale and Ashi Chauksi won the gold medal in the mixed doubles event at the World Cup Sniper Championships in India.
