மாநில செய்திகள்
1. முதல்வர் காப்பீட்டு திட்டத்தில் 1.19 கோடி பேர் பயன்
- முதல்வரின் விரிவான மருத்துவ காப்பீட்டு திட்டத்தின் கீழ் இதுவரை 1.19 கோடி பேர் பயனடைந்துள்ளதாக மக்கள் நலவாழ்வுத்துறை அமைச்சர் மா.சுப்பிரமணியன் தெரிவித்தார்.
- அவர்களுக்கு ரூபாய் 10,835 கோடி மதிப்பிலான சிகிச்சை அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும் அவர் கூறினார்.
- இந்த காப்பீட்டு திட்டம் 2009 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 23ஆம் தேதி தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
- இத்திட்டத்தில் 1,513 சிகிச்சை முறைகள் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதில் எட்டு சிறப்பு உயர் சிகிச்சை முறைகளும், 52 முழுமையான பரிசோதனை முறைகளும், 11 தொடர் சிகிச்சை முறைகளும் அடங்கும்.
- இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் 937 தனியார் மற்றும் 796 அரசு மருத்துவமனைகள் என மொத்தம் 1,733 மருத்துவமனைகள் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

2. குழந்தைகளுக்கு எதிரான குற்றங்கள் அதிகரித்து வருகின்றன
- முந்தைய ஆண்டை விட குழந்தைகளுக்கு எதிரான குற்றங்கள் 39.8% அதிகரித்துள்ளதால், மாநில குற்றப் பதிவுப் பணியகம் (SCRB) உண்மையான காரணங்கள் குறித்து அனைத்து மண்டல காவல் கண்காணிப்பாளர்களிடம் இருந்து அவசர அறிக்கை கோரியுள்ளது.
- தேசிய குற்றப் பதிவுப் பணியகத்தின் (NCRB) தரவுகளின்படி, 2020 மற்றும் 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டுகளில் முறையே 4,338 மற்றும் 4,139 வழக்குகளுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில், 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டில் குழந்தைகளுக்கு எதிரான குற்றங்கள் தொடர்பாக 6,064 வழக்குகள் பதிவாகியுள்ளன.
3. ஜிஎஸ்எல்வி மார்க்-3 ராக்கெட்
- இங்கிலாந்தின் ஒன் வெப் நிறுவனத்தின் 36 செயற்கை கோள்களை ஜிஎஸ்எல்வி மார்க்-3 ராக்கெட் மூலம் அக்டோபர் 22ஆம் தேதி இஸ்ரோ விண்ணில் செலுத்துகிறது.
- பிஎஸ்எல்வி ராக்கெட் மூலம் அதிகபட்சம் 1750 கிலோ வரை மட்டுமே செயற்கைக்கோள்களை செலுத்த முடியும் ஜிஎஸ்எல்வி ராக்கெட் மூலம் 4000 கிலோ வரை செலுத்தலாம்.
- இந்நிலையில் இங்கிலாந்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒன்வெப் நிறுவனத்துடன் இஸ்ரோவின் என்எஸ்ஐஎல் (New Space India Limited) நிறுவனம் 2 ராக்கெட் ஏவுதலுக்கு புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் செய்துள்ளது.
4. செல்லோ ஷோ
- ஆஸ்கார் விருதுக்கான இந்தியாவின் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ பரிந்துரையாக குஜராத்தி மொழியின் ‘செல்லோ ஷோ‘ திரைப்படம் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- 95வது ஆஸ்கார் விழா 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 12ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவில் லாஸ் ஏஞ்சல்ஸ் நகரில் நடைபெற உள்ளது.
- அந்த விழாவுக்காக இந்தியா சார்பில் அனுப்பப்படும் திரைப்படத்தை தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் நடவடிக்கைகளை இந்திய திரைப்பட கூட்டமைப்பு (எஃப்எஃப்ஐ) மேற்கொண்டு வந்தது.

- International Day of Peace is observed annually on 21 September
State news
1. 1.19 crore people benefited from CM Insurance scheme
- Public Health Minister M. Subramanian said that 1.19 crore people have benefited so far under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Medical Insurance Scheme.
- He also said that treatment worth Rs 10,835 crore has been given to them.
- This insurance scheme was launched on 23rd July 2009.
- 1,513 treatments have been approved under this scheme. These include eight specialized advanced treatments, 52 comprehensive diagnostic procedures, and 11 series of treatments.
- A total of 1,733 hospitals including 937 private and 796 government hospitals have been approved under this scheme.

1. Herman Kesten Award.
- Chennai-born anti-caste activist, novelist and poet Meena Kandasamy has been awarded this year’s Hermann Gesten Award in recognition of her work on the themes of caste, gender and racial oppression.
- She has used both poetry and prose and has been shortlisted for various literary awards such as the Hindu Literature Prize and the Women’s Prize for Fiction.
- Kandasamy’s book of poetry Ms.Militancy, Vice-President of the German PEN Center called her a “fearless fighter for democracy and human rights” and made her ‘Ms.Miliant’.
- Ms. Kandasamy’s two books of poetry have been translated into German.
2. Crimes against children are on the rise
- As crimes against children have increased by 39.8% over the previous year, the State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) has sought an urgent report from all Zonal Superintendents of Police on the real reasons.
- According to National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data, 6,064 cases of crimes against children were reported in 2021 as compared to 4,338 and 4,139 cases in 2020 and 2019 respectively.
3. GSLV Mark-3 Rocket
- ISRO will launch 36 satellites of UK’s OneWeb on October 22 on GSLV Mark-3 rocket.
- PSLV rocket can only launch satellites up to 1750 kg maximum while GSLV rocket can launch up to 4000 kg.
- In this case, ISRO’s NSIL (New Space India Limited) has entered into an MoU with UK-based OneWeb to launch 2 rockets.
4. Cello Show
- Gujarati language film ‘Cello Show’ has been selected as India’s official Oscar nomination.
- The 95th Oscars will be held on March 12, 2023 in Los Angeles, USA.
- The Film Federation of India (FFI) was conducting the process of selecting the film to be sent by India for the festival.
- A 17 member committee of the association was involved in this process.
