1. பொறுப்பு தலைமை நீதிபதி நியமனம்
- சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்ற பொறுப்பு தலைமை நீதிபதியாக மூத்த நீதிபதி டி.ராஜாவை நியமித்து குடியரசுத் தலைவர் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.
- சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பதவி வகித்த முனிஸ்வரநாத் பண்டாரி கடந்த செப்டம்பர் 12ஆம் தேதி ஓய்வு பெற்றார்.
- அதையடுத்து உயர் நீதிமன்ற பொறுப்பு தலைமை நீதிபதியாக எம் துரைசாமி நியமிக்கப்பட்டார் இவர் செப்டம்பர் 21இல் பணி ஓய்வு பெற உள்ளார்.
2. தமிழகம் மேகாலயம் ஒப்பந்தம்
- மருத்துவ சிகிச்சை முறைகளை பரஸ்பரம் பரிமாறிக் கொள்வதற்கான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் தமிழகம் மேகாலயம் இடையே சென்னையில் கையொப்பமானது.

- தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் கோவில்பட்டியை அடுத்த இடைசெவல் கிராமத்தில் சாகித்திய அகாதெமி விருது பெற்ற எழுத்தாளர் கி.ரா வின் நூற்றாண்டு விழா மற்றும் நினைவு மண்டபம் கட்ட அடிக்கல் நாட்டு விழா நடைபெற்றது.
- எழுத்தாளர் கி.ராஜநாராயணன், 2021 ஆம் ஆண்டு மே மாதம் 17ஆம் தேதி காலமானார்.
- தமிழக அரசு சார்பில் கி.ராவுக்கு கோவில்பட்டி ஊராட்சி ஒன்றிய அலுவலக வளாகத்தில் ரூபாய் 1.5 கோடியில் நினைவரங்கம், சிலை மற்றும் நூலகம் கட்டும் பணி நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.

1. லோக்பால்
- ஊழலுக்கு எதிரான நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பதற்கு ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்ட லோக்பால் அமைப்புக்கு நிகழாண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 21 வரை 1719 புகார்கள் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- அவற்றில் 136 புகார்கள் விசாரணைக்கு பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தகவல் அறியும் உரிமைச் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் (ஆர் டி ஐ) பெறப்பட்ட தகவலில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- லோக்பால் மற்றும் லோக் ஆயுக்தா சட்டம் 2013 ன் படி, கடந்த 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு லோக்பால் அமைப்பு செயல்பாட்டுக்கு வந்தவுடன் அதன் தலைவரும், பிற உறுப்பினர்களும் நியமனம் செய்யப்பட்டனர்.
- கடந்த 2020-2021 மற்றும் 2021-2022 ஆம் நிதியாண்டுகளில் முறையை 2355 மற்றும் 5680 புகார்கள் பெறப்பட்டன.
- இவற்றில் 131 மற்றும் 169 புகார்கள் வரையறுக்கப்பட்ட வடிவத்தில் பெறப்பட்ட மனுக்கள் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.
- கடந்த மூன்று ஆண்டில் இதுவரை குற்றச்சாட்டு நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் யாரும் இல்லை என லோக்பால் தரப்பில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.
- லோக்பால் அமைப்பானது தலைவர், நீதித்துறையைச் சார்ந்த 4 உறுப்பினர்கள் மற்றும் நீதித்துறையை சாராத நான்கு உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்டது.

- கடந்த மே 27ஆம் தேதி ஓய்வு பெற்றதை அடுத்து நிரந்தர தலைவர் இன்றி லோக்பால் அமைப்பு செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது.
2. உலகத் தூய்மை எரிசக்தி செயலமைப்பு கூட்டம்
- உலகத் தூய்மை எரிசக்தி செயலமைப்பின் 13 வது தூய்மை எரிசக்தி அமைச்சர்கள் நிலை மற்றும் ஏழாவது புதுமுறை காணலுக்கான அமைச்சர்கள் பங்கேற்கும் கூட்டமாக இந்த மாநாடு அமெரிக்காவின் பிட்ஸ்பர்க் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் ஆதரவுடன் நடைபெறுகிறது.
- பல்வேறு நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த 31 அமைச்சர்கள், விஞ்ஞானிகள், கல்வியாளர்கள், நூற்றுக்கணக்கான தலைமை நிர்வாக அதிகாரிகள், தனியார் நிறுவன தலைவர்கள் உள்ளிட்டோர் இந்த அமைப்பில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளனர்.
- செப்டம்பர் 21 முதல் 23ஆம் தேதி வரை நடைபெறும் இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் மத்திய அரசின் பல்வேறு அம்சங்களின் கூட்டு உயர்நிலைக் குழுவின் தலைவராக 5 நாள் அரசு முறை பயணத்தை அமெரிக்காவில் டாக்டர் ஜிதேந்திர சிங் மேற்கொள்கிறார்.
- கடந்த மாதம் பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி தலைமையிலான மத்திய அமைச்சரவை பருவநிலை மாற்றம் தொடர்பான ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் கட்டமைப்பு மாநாட்டில் (யூஎன்எப்சிசிசி) தெரிவிக்கப்பட்ட தீர்மானத்தின் படி இந்தியாவின் புதுப்பிக்கப்பட்ட தேசிய அளவில் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட பங்களிப்புக்கு ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது.
- மேலும் இந்தியாவின் 75 ஆவது சுதந்திர தினத்தன்று (ஆகஸ்ட் 15 2022) தேசிய ஹைட்ரஜன் இயக்கத்தை பிரதமர் மோடி தொடக்கி வைத்தார்.
- இந்த இயக்கம், அரசின் பருவநிலை இலக்குகளை எட்டுதல், இந்தியாவை பசுமை ஹைட்ரஜன் குவி மையமாக மாற்றுதல் ஆகியவற்றுக்கு உதவி செய்வதே நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டது.
- இது 2030–ம் ஆண்டுக்குள் 5 மில்லியன் டன் பசுமை ஹைட்ரஜன் உற்பத்தி என்ற இலக்கை எட்ட உதவும்.
- கடந்த 2021 நவம்பரில் நடைபெற்ற ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் பருவநிலை மாற்றத்திற்கான கூட்டம் கட்டமைப்பு நாடுகளின் மாநாட்டில் 26 ஆவது அமர்வில், 5 அமிர்தக் கூறுகளை (பஞ்சாமிர்தம்) உலகிற்கு வழங்கி பருவநிலை நடவடிக்கைகளை தீவிர படுத்த இந்தியா கேட்டுக் கொண்டது.

1. உலக மல்யுத்தம்
- செர்பியாவில் நடைபெற்ற உலக மல்யுத்த சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் இந்தியாவின் பஜ்ரங் புனியா வெண்கல பதக்கம் வென்றார்.
- இதன் மூலம் உலக சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் நான்கு முறை பதக்கம் வென்ற முதல் இந்தியர் என்று பெருமையை அவர் பெற்றார்.
- உலக சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் இது பஜ்ரங்கின் மூன்றாவது வெண்கல பதக்கம் ஆகும்.
- இதற்கு முன் அவர் 2013ல் வெண்கலம், 2018 இல் வெள்ளி, 2019-ல் வெண்கலம் வென்றிருக்கிறார்.

1. Appointment of the Chief Justice in charge
- The President has ordered the appointment of Senior Justice T. Raja as the Chief Justice of Madras High Court.
- Muniswaranath Bhandari, who served as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, retired on September 12.
- After that, M Duraisamy was appointed as the Chief Justice of the High Court and he is going to retire on September 21.
2. Tamil Nadu Meghalaya Agreement
- Memorandum of Understanding between Tamil Nadu and Meghalaya for mutual exchange of medical treatment methods was signed in Chennai.
- An MoU was signed for training in Integrated Obstetrics and Pediatrics Emergency Care, Lifesaving Anesthesiology Skills Training and Ultrasound Equipment.
3. Monitoring of school children through breakfast app
- Officials are monitoring whether breakfast is properly distributed to school children through the app.
- Officials monitor through an app called CM13FS.
- Early morning cooking start time, finish time, time of transportation from there, time of distribution at school, time of serving food to children etc. are arranged in this app so that it can be seen at a glance.
4. Writer Ki Ra Memorial Hall
- The centenary celebration and foundation stone laying ceremony for the memorial hall of Sahitya Akademi award winning writer Kira was held at Itesheval village next to Kovilpatti in Thoothukudi district.
- Writer K. Rajanarayanan passed away on 17th May 2021.
- On behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu, the construction of a memorial, a statue and a library to Ki Ra in the Kovilpatti Panchayat Union office complex is underway at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore.

1. Lokpal
- As many as 1719 complaints have been filed till August 21 this year to Lokpal, an anti-corruption body.
- Out of which 136 complaints have been registered for investigation, according to information received under the Right to Information Act (RTI).
- According to the Lokpal and Lokayukta Act 2013, the Chairperson and other members of the Lokpal system were appointed when it came into operation in 2019.
- In the last financial years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 the system received 2355 and 5680 complaints respectively.
- Of these, 131 and 169 complaints were reported as petitions received in limited form.
- It was reported by Lokpal that no one has been convicted so far in the last three years.
- The Lokpal consists of a Chairman, 4 judicial members and 4 non-judicial members.
- The first Chairperson of Lokpal was Justice Binaki Chandra Ghose.
- The Lokpal has been functioning without a permanent chairman since his retirement on May 27.
2. World Clean Energy Initiative Meeting
- World Clean Energy Initiative’s 13th Clean Energy Ministerial Conference and 7th Renewable Energy Ministerial Meeting is being held with the support of the United Nations, Pittsburgh, USA.
- 31 ministers from different countries, scientists, academicians, hundreds of chief executive officers, private company leaders are included in this organization.
- In this meeting to be held from September 21 to 23, Dr. Jitendra Singh will be on a 5-day official visit to the United States as the Chairman of the Joint High Level Committee on Various Aspects of the Central Government.
- Last month, the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved India’s updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) as per the resolution conveyed to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
- Also on India’s 75th Independence Day (August 15 2022) Prime Minister Modi launched the National Hydrogen Drive.
- The initiative aims to help achieve the government’s climate goals and make India a green hydrogen hub.
- This will help achieve the target of 5 million tonnes of green hydrogen production by 2030.
- In the 26th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change held in November 2021, India asked the world to intensify climate action by providing 5 nectar elements (panchamirtham) to the world.

- India’s Bajrang Punia won a bronze medal at the World Wrestling Championships in Serbia.
- This made him the first Indian to win a medal at the World Championships four times.
