1. தனுஷ்கோடியில் 30 ஜிகாவாட் மின் உற்பத்திக்கான காற்று வளம் கடலில் காற்றாலை அமைக்க இடம் தேர்வு: மத்திய எரிசக்தி துறை தகவல்
- மின் உற்பத்திக்கான காற்று வளம் உள்ளதால் நாட்டில் முதன்முறையாக கடலில் காற்றாலை அமைக்க தனுஷ்கோடி கடற்பகுதியை மத்திய எரிசக்தி துறை தேர்வு செய்துள்ளது.
- இந்தியாவில் கடலில் காற்றாலை அமைத்து மின்சாரம் தயாரிக்கும் திட்டத்தை, மத்திய அரசு கடந்த 09.09.2015 அன்று வெளியிட்டது.
- இதன்படி மத்திய எரிசக்தி துறையின் சார்பில் இந்த திட்டத்தை விரிவுபடுத்தும் நோக்கத்தில் நாட்டில் உள்ள 7600 km நீள கடற்பரப்பில் காற்றின் வேகத்தை அளவிட்டு ஆய்வு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.
- இதன் முடிவுகள் அதிக காற்று வீசும் கடற்கரை உள்ள மாநிலங்களாக தமிழகம் மற்றும் குஜராத் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டனர்.
- இதில் மன்னார் வளைகுடா தனுஷ்கோடி கடற்பகுதியில் மணிக்கு 29 கிலோமீட்டர் வேகத்திலும், குஜராத் மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள கட்ச் வளைகுடா பகுதியில் மணிக்கு 24.5 km வேகத்திலும் காற்று வீசுவது தெரியவந்தது.
- இதற்காக ராமேஸ்வரம் அருகே மன்னார் வளைகுடா தனுஷ்கோடி அரிச்சல் முனை கடல் பகுதியில் உயர் கோபுரம் அமைத்து அதிநவீன கருவியை பொருத்தி காற்றின் வேகம் குறித்த ஆய்வு பணிகள் 2015ல் இருந்து 2020 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரையிலும் நடைபெற்றது.
- இந்திய கடலோரப் பகுதியில் 70 ஜிகாவாட் மின் உற்பத்திக்கான காற்று வளம் உள்ளது.
- இதில் தமிழகத்திலும், குஜராத்திலும் தலா 35 ஜிகாவாட் காற்று வளம் உள்ளது.
- குறிப்பாக தனுஷ்கோடியில் சுமார் 30 ஜிகாவாட் காற்று வளம் உள்ளது.
- இங்கு இரண்டு காற்றாலை டர்பைன்களை நிறுவ உள்ளனர்.

- ஃசைபயி கிராமத்தில் 1939 ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 22ஆம் தேதி பிறந்த முலாயம், மாநிலத்தின் பெரும் அரசியல் செல்வாக்கு பெற்ற கட்சியான சமாஜவாதியை நிறுவிய பெருமையை பெற்றவர்.
- பதின்பருவத்தில் இருந்தே அரசியலில் கவனம் செலுத்தியவர்.
- 1967 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் முறையாக சட்டப்பேரவை உறுப்பினர் ஆனார்.
- உத்திர பிரதேசத்தின் முதல்வராக 1989-91, 1993-95, 2003-07 ஆகிய காலகட்டங்களில் பதவி வகித்துள்ளார்.
- பாதுகாப்பு துறை அமைச்சராக 1996 முதல் 1998 வரை செயல்பட்டுள்ளார்.

- பூமியிலிருந்து விண்ணில் 7,100 ஒளி ஆண்டுகள் தூரத்தில் உள்ள கண் கவரும் குமிழ்மூடிய நெபுலா புகைப்படத்தை அமெரிக்க விண்வெளி ஆய்வு நிறுவனம் நாசா வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
- விண்ணில் உள்ள பல மர்மங்களை கண்டறிய உலக நாடுகள் பல செயற்கைக்கோள்களையும், தொலைநோக்குகளையும் அனுப்பிய தகவல்களை பெற்று வருகின்றன.
- அந்த வரிசையில் அமெரிக்காவின் விண்வெளி ஆய்வு நிறுவனம் நாசா, கடந்த 1990 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 24ஆம் தேதி ஹப்பிள் தொலைநோக்கியை விண்ணில் நிலை நிறுத்தியது.
- தற்போது பூமியிலிருந்து 7,100 ஒளி ஆண்டுகள் தூரத்தில் உள்ள பபுல் நெபுலாவை நாசாவின் ஹப்பிள் தொலைநோக்கி படம் எடுத்து அனுப்பியுள்ளது.
- விண்மீன்கள் கூட்டத்திற்குள் உள்ள அந்த ‘பபுள் நெபுலா‘ கண் கவரும் வகையில் வண்ணமயமாக உள்ளது.
- நெபுலாக்கள் என்பது விண்வெளியில் காணப்படும் நட்சத்திரங்கள், தூசி மற்றும் ஹைட்ரஜன், ஹீலியம் போன்ற வாயுக்களால் உருவாகும் பெரிய மேகத்தை குறிக்கும்.
- இன்னும் ஒன்று முதல் இரண்டு கோடி ஆண்டுகளுக்குள் சூப்பர் நோவாவாக மாறிவிடும் என்று நாசா தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

1. Offshore wind resource for 30 GW power generation at Dhanushkodi Site Selection for Wind Farm: Central Energy Department Information
- The Central Energy Department has selected the Dhanushkodi offshore area for setting up offshore wind farm for the first time in the country due to the availability of wind resources for power generation.
- The central government announced the plan to set up offshore wind farms in India and generate electricity on 09.09.2015.
- According to this, on behalf of the Central Energy Department, with the aim of expanding this project, a study was carried out by measuring the wind speed on the 7600 km long sea surface in the country.
