- உலக தபால் தினம்.
- உலக தபால் அமைப்பானது, 1874 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஸ்விட்சர்லாந்தின் பெர்ன் நகரில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
- உலக தபால் அமைப்பை நினைவுபடுத்தும் விதமாக 1969 அக்டோபர் 9 ஆம் தேதி உலக தபால் தினம் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
- இந்த துரையின் சேவைகளை பாராட்டும் விதமாகவும், இதன் திட்டங்கள் பற்றியும் மக்களுக்கு விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தவும் இந்த தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
மாநில செய்திகள்
1. மாணவர்களுக்கு புதிய ‘செயலி‘
- பள்ளி கல்வித்துறையில் புதிய திட்டங்கள் தீட்டுவதற்கு டிஜிட்டல் தொழில்நுட்பம் புகுத்தப்பட்ட நவீனமாக்கப்பட்டு வருவதால் ஏராளமான திட்டங்கள் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
- மேலும் மாணவர்கள் பாடத்தை புரிந்து படிக்க வகை செய்யும் புதிய செயலி (ஆப்) தொடங்கப்பட உள்ளது.
- முதலமைச்சரின் காலை உணவு திட்டத்திற்கு வழிகாட்டியாக அமைந்தது டிஜிட்டல் முறையிலான புள்ளி விவரங்களே.
- கண்ணாடி வழங்கும் திட்டமும் டிஜிட்டல் முறையால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட புள்ளி விவரங்களின் மூலமே அமலானது.
மத்திய செய்திகள்
1. குழந்தைகள் திருமணம் ஜார்க்கண்ட் முதலிடம்
- குழந்தை திருமணங்கள் குறித்து ஒன்றிய உள்துறை அமைச்சகத்தின் பதிவாளர் ஜெனரல் மற்றும் மக்கள் தொகை கணக்கெடுப்பு ஆணையர் அலுவலகம் ஆய்வு நடத்தியது.
- இதில் நாட்டில் அதிக குழந்தை திருமணம் நடக்கும் மாநிலமாக ஜார்கண்ட் உள்ளது.
- இம்மாநிலத்தில் குழந்தை திருமணம் செய்து கொள்ளும் பெண்களின் சதவீதம் 5.8 ஆக உயர்ந்துள்ளது.
- தேசிய அளவில் குழந்தை திருமணங்கள் செய்து கொள்ளும் பெண்களின் சதவீதம் 1.9% ஆகும்.
- ஜார்கண்டில் குழந்தை திருமணங்கள் கிராமப்புறங்களில் 7.3 சதவீதமாகவும், நகர்ப்புறங்களில் மூன்று சதவீதமாகவும் உள்ளன.
- ஜார்க்கண்ட் மற்றும் மேற்குவங்கம் ஆகிய இரண்டு மாநிலங்களில் மட்டுமே பாதிக்கும் மேற்பட்ட பெண்கள் 21 வயதுக்கு முன்பே திருமணம் செய்து கொள்கின்றனர்.
- மேற்கு வங்கத்தில் 54.9% பெண்கள் 21 வயதை அடைவதற்கு முன்பே திருமணம் செய்து கொள்கிறார்கள்.
- ஜார்கண்டில் இந்த எண்ணிக்கை 54.6 சதவீதமாக உள்ளது. இதன் தேசிய சராசரி 29.5 சதவீதமாக உள்ளது.
2. விமானப்படைகள் புதிய ஆயுதப் பிரிவு
- இந்திய விமானப்படை அதிகாரிகளுக்கென தனி ஆயுத அமைப்பு பிரிவை அமைக்க மத்திய அரசு ஒப்புதல் வழங்கியுள்ளதாக அப்படையின் தலைமை தளபதி வி.ஆர்.சௌதரி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
- ‘அக்னிபத்‘ திட்டத்தின் கீழ் அடுத்த ஆண்டு முதல் பெண்களும் விமானப்படைகளுக்கு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட உள்ளதாகவும் அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
- இந்திய விமானப்படையின் 90 வது நிறுவன தினம் சண்டிகரில் உள்ள விமானப்படை தளத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.
- தனி ஆயுத பிரிவு:
- விமானப்படை அதிகாரிகளுக்கென தனி ஆயுத அமைப்பு பிரிவை உருவாக்க மத்திய அரசு ஒப்புதல் வழங்கியுள்ளது.
- இந்த பிரிவு அமைக்கப்படுவது சுதந்திரத்திற்கு பிறகு இதுவே முதல் முறையாகும்.
- தரையிலும் மாநிலம் உள்ள இலக்குகளை தரையில் இருந்து தாக்கி அளிக்கும் ஏவுகணைகள் தொலைவில் இருந்து ‘ரிமோட்‘ வாயிலாக கட்டுப்படுத்தக்கூடிய விமானங்கள், விமானங்களில் இடம்பெறும் ஆயுதங்கள் உள்ளிட்டவை ஆயுத அமைப்பு பிரிவில் இடம் பெறும்.
- இதன் மூலமாக அதிகாரிகளுக்கு எளிதில் பயிற்சி அளிக்க முடியும். அதனால் ரூபாய் 3400 கோடி வரை சேமிக்கப்படும்.

1. Child Marriage Jharkhand tops
- The Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs conducted a study on child marriages.
- Jharkhand has the highest number of child marriages in the country.
- The percentage of women who marry as children has increased to 5.8 in this state.
- Nationally the percentage of women in child marriage is 1.9%.
- Child marriage in Jharkhand is 7.3 percent in rural areas and three percent in urban areas.
- Jharkhand and West Bengal are the only two states where more than half of the girls are married before the age of 21.
- In West Bengal 54.9% girls get married before reaching 21 years of age.
- In Jharkhand this figure is 54.6 percent. The national average is 29.5 percent.
2. Air Force New Weapons Division
- Indian Air Force Chief of Staff VR Chaudhary said that the Central Government has approved the establishment of a separate weapon system unit for Indian Air Force officers.
- He also informed that women will also be selected for the Air Force from next year under the ‘Agnipath’ scheme.
- The 90th Foundation Day of the Indian Air Force was celebrated at the Air Force Base in Chandigarh.
- Special Weapons Section:
- The Central Government has approved the creation of a separate Armament Unit for Air Force officers.
- This is the first time that this unit has been set up since independence.
