முக்கிய தினங்கள் 

1. 12.08.2022 

• சர்வதேச இளைஞர் தினம் ஆகஸ்ட் 12 அன்று ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் பொதுச் சபையால் நியமிக்கப்பட்ட பின்னர் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. 

மாநில செய்திகள் 

1. நல் ஆளுமை விருதுகள் 

• வேளாண் இயந்திர வாடகை திட்டத்தை சிறப்பாக செயல்படுத்தி வருவதற்காக இந்த ஆண்டுக்கான நல் ஆளுமை விருதினை வேளாண்மை துறை பெறுகிறது.  
• இதே போன்று மனநலம் பாதித்தோரை மீட்டு சிகிச்சை அளிக்கும் திட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்தி வருவதற்காக சென்னை காவல் ஆணையாளரும் நல் ஆளுமை விருதுக்கு தேர்வாகியுள்ளார்.  
• ஐந்து மாவட்டங்கள்:  
• செங்கல் சூலையில் பணிபுரிந்தவர்களை மீட்டு எடுத்து தொழில் முனைவோராக வாழ்க்கைத் தரத்தை உயர்த்திய பணிக்காக திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரும்,  
• திருநங்கைகளின் வாழ்க்கையில் மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்த முயற்சிகளை எடுத்தமைக்காக செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்ட சமூக நலஅலுவலரும் நல் ஆளுமை விருதுக்கு தேர்வாகியுள்ளனர்.  

• மழைநீர் சேகரிப்பு கட்டமைப்புகளை உருவாக்கி நிலத்தடி நீரை செரிவூட்டும் பணிகளைச் செய்தமைக்காக திண்டுக்கல், சிவகங்கை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர்கள் விருதுக்கு தேர்வாகியுள்ளனர்.  
• மேலும் திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டத்தில் பேறுகால நலனை தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப உதவிகளுடன் கண்காணித்து சிறப்பான சுகாதார திட்டத்தை முன்னெடுத்த காரணத்துக்காக திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரும் நல் ஆளுமை விருதுக்கு தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். 

மத்திய செய்திகள் 

1. அடல்ஓய்வூதிய திட்டம்  

• மத்திய அரசின் முக்கியமான சமூக பாதுகாப்பு திட்டமான அடல்ஓய்வூதிய திட்டத்தில் வருமான வரி செலுத்துவோர் சேர முடியாது என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.  
• இது வரும் அக்டோபர் 1-ம் தேதி முதல் அமலுக்கு வருகிறது. கடந்த 2015 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 1–ம் தேதி மத்திய அரசு அடல்ஓய்வூதிய திட்டத்தை அமல்படுத்தியது.  
• பெரும்பாலும் அமைப்புசாரா தொழிலாளர்களின் நலன்களை கருத்தில் கொண்டு இத்திட்டம் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. 
• திட்டத்தின் மூலம் 60 வயதை எட்டியவர்கள் மாதம் ரூபாய் 1000 முதல் ரூபாய் 5000 வரை ஓய்வூதியம் பெற முடியும்.  

• இதில் இணைவோர் மாதம் தோறும் தங்கள் வயதுக்கு ஏற்ப குறிப்பிட்ட அளவு தொகையைச் செலுத்த வேண்டும்.அஞ்சலகங்கள் வங்கிகள் மூலம் இத்திட்டம்செயல்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.  
• 18 முதல் 40 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்டவர்கள் இத்திட்டத்தில் இணைய முடியும். 

2. ‘ப்ளூப்ளேக்’ அந்தஸ்து  

• சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரரும் பொருளாதார நிபுணருமான தாதாபாய்நௌரோஜி தெற்கு லண்டனில் வாழ்ந்த இல்லத்துக்கு ‘நீலத்தகடு’ (ப்ளூ பிளேக்) அந்தஸ்து வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• பிரிட்டனில் உள்ள ‘இங்கிலீஷ் ஹெரிடேஜ்சாரிடி’ (ஆங்கில பாரம்பரிய அறக்கட்டளை) என்ற அமைப்பானது லண்டனில் உள்ள வரலாற்று முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த கட்டிடங்களுக்கு ‘நீலத்தகடு’ என்ற அந்தஸ்தை வழங்கி வருகிறது. 
• அத்தகைய கட்டிடங்களின் முக்கியத்துவம் குறித்தும், அதில் வாழ்ந்த நபர்களின் விவரங்கள் குறித்தும், நீலத்தகடில் பொறிக்கப்பட்டு பொதுமக்களின் பார்வை படும்படி கட்டடத்தில் பொருத்தப்படும்.  
• அவருடைய சிறப்புமிக்க புத்தகமான ‘பாவர்ட்டி அணட் அன்–பிரிட்டிஷ் ரூல் இன் இந்தியா’ (1901) இந்த வீட்டில் இருந்தபோதே வெளியானது. 
• பிரிட்டன் நாடாளுமன்றத்திற்கு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட முதல் இந்தியர் என்ற பெருமை தாதாபாய்நௌரோஜியையே சேரும். 

• தேசத்தந்தை மகாத்மா காந்தியடிகள், இந்திய அரசமைப்புச் சட்டத்தின் தந்தை பி.ஆர்.அம்பேத்கர் ஆகியோர் லண்டனில் வசித்த இல்லங்களுக்கு ஏற்கனவே ‘ப்ளூபிளேக்’ அந்தஸ்து வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 

3. ‘செவ்வாலியே’ விருது  

• காங்கிரஸ் மூத்த தலைவரும் எம்பியும் ஆன சசிதரூர் அவருடைய எழுத்து மற்றும் பேச்சாற்றலுக்காக பிரான்ஸ் நாட்டின் உயரிய சிவிலியன் விருதான ‘செவாலியே’ விருதுக்கு தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார். 

4. ‘2023–இலிருந்துஎத்தனால் பெட்ரோல்’ 

• இந்தியாவில் அடுத்த ஆண்டிலிருந்து எத்தனால் கலந்த பெட்ரோல் விநியோகிக்கப்படும் என்று மத்திய அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.  
• 20% எத்தனால் கலந்த பெட்ரோல் அடுத்த ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் மாதத்தில் இருந்து இந்தியா முழுவதும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மையங்களில் விநியோகிக்கப்படும்.  
• எஞ்சிய பகுதிகள் முழுவதும் எத்தனால் பெட்ரோல் விநியோகம் 2025-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குள் விரிவுபடுத்தப்படும். 

5. குடியரசு துணைத்தலைவராகபதவியேற்பு 

• நாட்டின் 14 வது குடியரசு துணை தலைவராக ஜெகதீப் தன்கர் பதவியேற்றுக் கொண்டார். 
• ஜெகதீஷ் தன்கருக்கு குடியரசுத் தலைவர் திரௌபதி மும்மு பதவிப்பிரமாணம் செய்து வைத்தார்.  
• குடியரசு துணைத்தலைவரே மாநிலங்களவை தலைவராக செயல்படுவார். 

6. மீண்டும் தலை தூக்கிய தற்கொலை படையினர் 

• ஜம்மு-காஷ்மீரின் ராஜௌரி மாவட்டத்தில் ராணுவ முகாம் மீது அதிகாலை தற்கொலைப் படையைச் சேர்ந்த இரண்டு பயங்கரவாதிகள் நடத்திய தாக்குதலை பாதுகாப்பு படையினர் (ராஜேந்திர பிரசாத் ,மனோஜ்குமார், லட்சுமணன், நிஷாந்த் மாலிக்) முறியடித்தனர். 
• காஷ்மீரின் புல்வாமா மாவட்டத்தில் கடந்த 2019 பிப்ரவரி 14ஆம் தேதி நடத்தப்பட்ட தற்கொலை தாக்குதலில் சிஆர்பிஎஃப் வீரர்கள் 40 பேர் உயிரிழந்தனர்.  
• மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பிறகு தற்கொலை படை பயங்கரவாதிகள் மீண்டும் தலை தூக்கி உள்ளனர். 

விளையாட்டு செய்திகள் 

1. 200–ஐ கடந்தது  

• சமீபத்தில் இங்கிலாந்தின் பர்மிங்ஹாம் நகரில் நடைபெற்ற 22வது காமன்வெல்த் போட்டிகளில், இந்தியா 22 தங்கப்பதக்கங்கள்வென்றது.  
• சிறப்பு என்னவென்றால், இதுவரையிலான காமன்வெல்த் விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகளில் இந்தியா ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக வென்றிருக்கும் தங்கப் பதக்கங்களின் எண்ணிக்கை தற்போது 200 கடந்திருக்கிறது. 

• போட்டியில் பாட்மின்டன் வீராங்கனை பி.வி.சிந்து தனிநபர் பிரிவில் வென்ற தங்கமே காமன்வெல்த் போட்டிகளில் இந்தியாவின் 200 வது தங்கம் ஆகும்.

1. Good Personality Awards 

• The Department of Agriculture receives the Good Governance Award for this year for its excellent implementation of the Agricultural Machinery Rental Scheme. 
• Similarly, the Commissioner of Police, Chennai has also been selected for the Good Personality Award for implementing a program to rescue and treat mentally challenged people. 
• Five Districts: 
• Thiruvallur District Collector for the work of reviving the people who worked in the brick kilns and raising the standard of living as entrepreneurs. 
• The Chengalpattu District Social Welfare Officer has also been selected for the Good Personality Award for his efforts to bring about change in the lives of transgenders. 

• The District Collectors of Dindigul and Sivagangai have been selected for the award for their efforts to enrich the ground water by constructing rainwater harvesting structures. 
• Also Tirunelveli District Collector has been selected for the Good Governance Award for the reason that Tirunelveli district has implemented an excellent health program by monitoring maternity welfare with the help of information technology. 

Central News 

1. Pension Scheme 

• It has been announced that income tax payers will not be able to join the central government’s important social security scheme, the Atal pension scheme. 
• It will come into effect from 1st October. On June 1, 2015, the Central Government implemented the Atal Pension Scheme. 
• The scheme was introduced mainly with the interests of the unorganized workers in mind. 
• Through the scheme, those who reach the age of 60 can get a pension of Rs 1000 to Rs 5000 per month. 

• In this the participants have to pay a certain amount every month according to their age. This scheme is implemented through post offices and banks. 
• People between 18 to 40 years can join this scheme. 

2. ‘Blueplague’ status 

• Freedom fighter and economist Dadabai Naoroji’s house in south London has been given ‘Neela thakadu’ (Blue Plaque) status. 

• The ‘English Heritage’ organization in Britain gives ‘Blue Label’ status to historically important buildings in London. 
• The importance of such buildings and the details of the people who lived in them will be engraved on a blue plate and fixed on the building for public view. 
• His landmark book ‘Poverty and Un-British Rule in India’ (1901) was published while in this house. 
• Dadabai Naoroji holds the distinction of being the first Indian to be elected to the British Parliament. 
• It is noteworthy that the houses where the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi and BR Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, lived in London have already been given the ‘Blue Plaque’ status. 

3. ‘Chevwaliye’ Award 

• Senior Congress leader and MP Sasitharur has been selected for France’s highest civilian award ‘Chevalier’ for his writing and speaking skills. 

4. ‘Ethanol petrol from 2023’ 

• The central government has announced that ethanol-mixed petrol will be distributed in India from next year. 
• 20% ethanol blended petrol will be distributed from April next year at selected centers across India. 
• Ethanol petrol distribution will be expanded across remaining regions by 2025. 

5. Appointment as Vice President of the Republic 

• Jagadeep Thankar was sworn in as the 14th Vice President of the country. 
• President Draupadi Mummu administered oath to Jagadish Dhankar. 
• The Vice-President of the Republic acts as the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. 

6. Suicide Squad Resurrected 

• Security forces (Rajendra Prasad, Manoj Kumar, Lakshmanan, Nishant Malik) foiled an early morning attack by two suicide squad terrorists on an army camp in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. 
• 40 CRPF personnel were killed in a suicide attack in Kashmir’s Pulwama district on February 14, 2019. 
• After three years, the suicide squad terrorists are on the rise again. 

Sports news 

1. Crossed 200 

• In the 22nd Commonwealth Games recently held in Birmingham, England, India won 22 gold medals. 
• What is special is that the total number of gold medals won by India in the Commonwealth Games so far has now crossed 200. 
• Badminton player PV Sindhu’s gold in the individual category is India’s 200th gold in the Commonwealth Games.
