- குஜராத்தின் சூரத்தில் நடைபெற்று வரும் அகமதாபாத்-மும்பை புல்லட் ரயில் திட்டப்பணிகளை ரயில்வே அமைச்சர் அஸ்வினி வைஷ்ணவ் இன்று (ஜூன் 6) ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டார். இந்த ரயில் குஜராத்தின் அகமதாபாத் – மகாராஷ்டிராவின் மும்பை இடையே மணிக்கு 320 கி.மீ., வேகத்தில் 508 கி.மீ., தூரம் இயக்கப்படவுள்ளது. இந்த ரயில் இரண்டு நகரங்களுக்கு இடையேயான பயண நேரத்தை தற்போது உள்ள ஆறு மணி நேரத்திலிருந்து மூன்று மணி நேரமாக குறைக்கும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. ஐப்பான் நாட்டின் நிதியுதவியுடன் ரூ.1.1 லட்சம் கோடி செலவில் திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.
- வளைகுடா ஒத்துழைப்பு கவுன்சிலில் (ஜிசிசி) இடம்பெற்றுள்ள 6 நாடுகளுடனான இந்திய வா்த்தகம் வேகமாக அதிகரித்து வருவது மத்திய வா்த்தக அமைச்சகத்தின் புள்ளிவிவரத்தில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது. கடந்த 1981-ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜிசிசி உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. அந்தக் கவுன்சிலில் சவூதி அரேபியா, பஹ்ரைன், குவைத், ஓமன், கத்தாா் மற்றும் ஐக்கிய அரபு அமீரகம் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. அந்த நாடுகளுடனான இந்திய வா்த்தகம் கடந்த நிதியாண்டில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க முன்னேற்றத்தை கண்டுள்ளது. இந்தியாவின் மொத்த இறக்குமதியில் ஜிசிசி நாடுகளில் இருந்து இறக்குமதி செய்யப்படுவதன் பங்கு 2020-21-ஆம் நிதியாண்டில் 15.5 சதவீதமாக இருந்தது. இது 2021-22-ஆம் நிதியாண்டில் 18 சதவீதமாக அதிகரித்தது. இந்தியாவின் மொத்த ஏற்றுமதியில் ஜிசிசி நாடுகளுக்கு ஏற்றுமதி செய்யப்படுவதன் பங்கு 2020-21-ஆம் நிதியாண்டில் 9.51 சதவீதமாக இருந்தது. இது 2021-22-ஆம் நிதியாண்டில் 10.4 சதவீதமாக அதிகரித்தது. ஜிசிசி நாடுகளிடம் இருந்து அந்நிய நேரடி முதலீடுகளையும் (எஃப்டிஐ) இந்தியா ஈா்த்து வருகிறது.
- மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளுக்கு நலம் பயக்கும் வகையில் ரூ.1 கோடியில் அமைக்கப்பட்ட அருங்காட்சியகத்தை முதல்வா் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் திங்கள்கிழமை திறந்து வைத்தார். சென்னை காமராஜா் சாலையில் அமைந்துள்ள மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகள் நல ஆணையரக அலுவலகத்தில் இந்த அருங்காட்சியகம் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

- ஐ ஆர் சி டி சி வலைத்தளத்தில் மாதம் 12 பயண சீட்டுகளை முன்பதிவு செய்யலாம். ஆதார் இணைத்தால் 24 சீட்டுகள் முன்பதிவு செய்யலாம் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

- Railway Minister Aswini Vaishnav today (June 6) inspected the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project in Surat, Gujarat. This train will run between Ahmedabad in Gujarat and Mumbai in Maharashtra at a speed of 320 kmph and 508 kmph. The train is expected to reduce travel time between the two cities from the current six hours to three hours. The project is being implemented at a cost of Rs 1.1 lakh crore with financial assistance from Japan.
- According to the Federal Ministry of Commerce, India’s trade with the six member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is growing rapidly. The GCC was created in 1981. The council includes Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Indian trade with those countries has seen significant progress in the last financial year. The share of imports from GCC countries in India’s total imports was 15.5 per cent in FY20-21. It increased to 18 percent in fiscal 2021-22. Exports to the GCC countries accounted for 9.51 per cent of India’s total exports in FY20-21. It increased to 10.4 percent in fiscal 2021-22. India is also attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) from GCC countries.
