1. ஜூலை 13 குரு பூர்ணிமா விழா மாணவர்களுக்கும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கும் இடையே உள்ள புனிதமான உறவைக் கொண்டாடுகிறது

2. மக்கள் பிரதிநிதிகள், நிறுவனங்களின் மேலாளா்கள் உள்ளிட்ட உயா்பதவிகளில் பணிபுரியும் பெண்கள் தொடா்பான ஆய்வறிக்கையில் வடகிழக்கு மாநிலமான மிஸோரம் முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது. அந்த மாநிலத்தில் உயா்பதவிகளில் உள்ள நபா்களில் சுமார் 71 சதவீதம் போ் பெண்களாக உள்ளனா். அரசியல் ரீதியிலும் பெண்களின் பங்களிப்பு அதிகரித்து வருகிறது. உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகளில் அவா்களுக்கு 33 சதவீத இடஒதுக்கீடு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகளில் பெண்களுக்கு 50 சதவீத இடஒதுக்கீடு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

3. பிரபஞ்சத்தின் ஆரம்ப காலத்தைக் காட்டும் வகையில் ஜேம்ஸ் வெப் விண்வெளி தொலைநோக்கி எடுத்த ஒரு புகைப்படத்தை அமெரிக்க விண்வெளி ஆய்வு நிறுவனமான நாசா திங்கள்கிழமை வெளியிட்டது. விண்வெளி ஆய்வுக்காக 10 பில்லியன் டாலா் (சுமார் ரூ.79,000 கோடி) செலவில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட ஜேம்ஸ் வெப் எனப்படும் உலகிலேயே மிகப்பெரிய, சக்திவாய்ந்த விண்வெளி தொலைநோக்கியை நாசா கடந்த ஆண்டு டிசம்பா் மாதம் விண்வெளியில் செலுத்தியது. இந்த விண்வெளி தொலைநோக்கி எடுத்த புகைப்படத்தைதான் நாசா வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. இந்த நட்சத்திர திரள் கூட்டத்துக்கு ‘SMACS 0723’ எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

4. ஃபின்லாந்தில் நடைபெற்ற முதியோருக்கான தடகள சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் இந்தியாவின் பக்வனி தேவி தாகா் 1 தங்கம், 2 வெண்கலம் என 3 பதக்கங்கள் வென்று அசத்தியிருக்கிறார். 94 வயதான பக்வனி தேவி, தடகள வீரராக இருக்கும் தனது பெயரன் விகாஸ் தாகரால் தடகள விளையாட்டை நோக்கி ஈா்க்கப்பட்டு, முதியோா்களுக்கான போட்டிகளில் பங்கேற்று வருகிறார். அந்த வகையில் சமீபத்தில் ஃபின்லாந்தில் நடைபெற்ற உலக மாஸ்டா்ஸ் தடகள சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் 100 மீட்டா் ஓட்டத்தில்74 விநாடிகளில் இலக்கை எட்டி முதலிடம் பிடித்தார். இது தவிர குண்டு எறிதல் உள்பட மேலும் இரு பிரிவுகளில் 2 வெண்கலப் பதக்கங்களும் வென்றார்.

5. ஜார்கண்டின் 2-வது விமான நிலையம் தேவ்கர் நகரில் ரூபாய் 401 கோடி செலவில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனை பிரதமர் மோடி நேற்று (12.7.2022) திறந்து வைத்தார். அங்கிருந்து பீகார் சென்ற பிரதமர் மோடி மாநில சட்டப்பேரவை வளாகத்தில் நூற்றாண்டு நிறைவு விழாவில் கலந்துகொண்டார்.

2. The north-eastern state of Mizoram is at the top in the report regarding women working in professional positions including people’s representatives and company managers. About 71 percent of the people in employment in the state are women. Women’s participation in politics is also increasing. 33 percent reservation has been given to them in local bodies. 50 percent reservation has been given to women in local bodies in Tamil Nadu.

3. NASA on Monday released a photo taken by the James Webb Space Telescope that shows the early universe. NASA launched the world’s largest and most powerful space telescope called James Webb, which was developed at a cost of 10 billion dollars (about Rs. 79,000 crore) for space exploration, in December last year. NASA has released this image taken by the space telescope. This star cluster has been named ‘SMACS 0723’.

4. Bhagwani Devi Thakar of India has won 3 medals namely 1 gold and 2 bronze in the Senior Athletics Championship held in Finland. 94-year-old Bhagwani Devi, who was attracted to athletics by her namesake Vikas Thagar, who is an athlete, has been participating in competitions for the elderly. In that way, he reached the goal in 24.74 seconds in the World Masters Athletics Championship held in Finland in 100 meters. Apart from this, he also won 2 bronze medals in two other categories including shot put.

5. Jharkhand’s 2nd airport is set up at Devkar Nagar at a cost of Rs 401 crore. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated it yesterday (12.7.2022). From there, Prime Minister Modi went to Bihar and attended the centenary celebrations at the state assembly.

6. In a positive addition to the nascent Indian defence industry, The discussions on the maintenance of submarines was held by Brazil. MDL is involved in manufacturing six conventional Scorpene (Project 75) jointly with the Naval Group of France. The sixth and last submarine of the Indian Navy’s Kalvari class submarines was launched in April this year. The Brazilian Navy also operates 4 Scorpene-class submarines and is exploring options for collaboration towards the maintenance of the diesel-electric attack submarines.
