ஆன்லைன் ரம்மி விளையாட்டின் தாக்கம் குறித்து ஆய்வு செய்ய ஓய்வுபெற்ற நீதிபதி கே.சந்துரு தலைமையில் குழு அமைத்து அரசு உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது. இந்தக் குழு அளிக்கும் அறிக்கையின் அடிப்படையில் அவசரச் சட்டம் விரைவில் இயற்றப்படும் என்றும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கான எண்ணும், எழுத்தும் கற்றல் திட்டத்தை ஜூன் 13-ம் தேதி முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் தொடங்கி வைக்கிறார். தமிழகத்தில் 2025-ம் ஆண்டுக்குள் 8 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட அரசுப் பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் அடிப்படை கணிதத் திறனுடன், பிழையின்றி எழுத, படிப்பதை உறுதிசெய்யும் விதமாக ‘எண்ணும், எழுத்தும்’ திட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்த பள்ளிக்கல்வித் துறை திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது. இந்ததிட்டம் 2022-23-ம் கல்வியாண்டில் நடைமுறைக்கு கொண்டுவரப்பட உள்ளது. இதற்காக அரசுமற்றும் நிதியுதவி பெறும் பள்ளிகளில் 1 முதல் 5-ம் வகுப்பு வரைபாடம் கற்பிக்கும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்குஏற்கெனவேதிறன் பயிற்சிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதற்கிடையே கோடை விடுமுறை முடிந்து 1 முதல் 10-ம்வகுப்பு வரையான மாணவர்களுக்கு ஜூன் 13-ம் தேதி பள்ளிகள்மீண்டும் திறக்கப்பட உள்ளன. பள்ளி திறக்கப்படும் முதல்நாளிலேயே எண்ணும், எழுத்தும் திட்டத்தையும் அமல்படுத்த முடிவாகியுள்ளது. இந்த திட்டத்தை முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்டம் புழல் ஒன்றியம் அழிஞ்சியம்பாக்கம் ஊராட்சி ஒன்றிய நடுநிலைப் பள்ளியில் தொடங்கி வைக்கிறார்

மாநிலங்களவைத் தேர்தலில் பாஜக சார்பில் கர்நாடகாவில் போட்டியிட்ட மத்திய நிதியமைச்சர் நிர்மலா சீதாராமன் வெற்றி பெற்றார். அங்கு 3 இடங்களை பாஜகவும் ஒரு இடத்தை காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியும் கைப்பற்றியுள்ளன. அதேநேரத்தில் ராஜஸ்தானில் 3 இடங்களில் காங்கிரஸும் ஒரு இடத்தை பாஜகவும் கைப்பற்றின. தமிழகம் உட்பட 11 மாநிலங்களில் காலியாகவிருக்கும் 57 மாநிலங்களவை உறுப்பினர் பதவிகளுக்கு ஜூன் 10-ல் தேர்தல் நடக்கும் என தலைமைத் தேர்தல் ஆணையம் அறிவித்தது. இதில் தமிழகம் உட்பட 11 மாநிலங்களில் 41 இடங்களுக்கு உறுப்பினர்கள் போட்டியின்றி தேர்வாகினர். இதையடுத்து, மீதமுள்ள 16 இடங்களுக்கு போட்டி இருந்ததால் வாக்குப்பதிவு நடத்தப்பட்டது. இதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை அந்தந்த மாநிலங்களில் தேர்தல் ஆணையம் செய்திருந்தது.

தமிழகத்தில் நிகழாண்டில் மட்டும் 40 ஆயிரம் போ் காசநோயால் புதிதாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனா். இது கடந்த ஆண்டைக் காட்டிலும் 19 சதவீதம் அதிகம் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. காசநோயை முழுமையாக ஒழிக்கும் நோக்கில் மத்திய, மாநில அரசுகள் பல்வேறு முயற்சிகளை முன்னெடுத்து வருகின்றன. 2025-க்குள் அந்நோயை முற்றிலும் ஒழிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற இலக்குடன் பல்வேறு திட்டங்கள் செயல்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன. அதன் பயனாக காசநோய் பாதிப்பு தொடா்பான விழிப்புணா்வு மேம்பட்டு வருகிறது. தமிழகத்தைப் பொருத்தவரை காசநோயைக் குணப்படுத்தும் விகிதம் கணிசமாக உயா்ந்து வருவதாகத் தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. அந்த நோயின் தாக்கத்தால் பாதிக்கப்படும் நோயாளிகளில் 84 சதவீதம் பேரை முதல் சிகிச்சையிலேயே குணப்படுத்துவதாகவும், தொடா் சிகிச்சைகள் மூலம் மீதமுள்ளவா்களையும் பூரண குணமாக்குவதாகவும் சுகாதாரத் துறை அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனா்.
