- ஆண்டுக்கு 6-கிராம சபை கூட்டங்கள் நடத்தப்படும் என்று முதல்வர் ஸ்டாலின் அறிவிப்பு. அதன்படி ஜனவரி 26-குடியரசு தினம், மே -1 தொழிலாளர் தினம், ஆகஸ்ட் 15- சுதந்திர தினம், அக்டோபர் 2- காந்தியடிகள் பிறந்ததினம், மார்ச் 2-உலக தண்ணீர் தினம் மற்றும் நவம்பர் 1- உள்ளாட்சி தினம் ஆகிய தேதிகளில் கிராம சபை கூட்டங்கள் நடத்தப்படும் என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது
- ஆண்டு தோறும் நவம்பர் 1- ம் தேதி உள்ளாட்சி தினமாக கடைபிடிக்கப்படும் என்றும் முதல்வர் ஸ்டாலின் அறிவித்துள்ளார்
- நீதி ஆயோக் துணைத்தலைவர் ராஜீவ் குமார் ராஜினாமா செய்துள்ளார். இதையடுத்து புதிய துணைத்தலைவராக கமன் கே பெரி நீதி ஆயோக் துணைத்தலைவராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுளளார்
- நெடுஞ்சாலைத்துறையில் பொறியாளர் அலுவலகங்களில் குறைபாடுகளை களைய “உள் தணிக்கை” என்ற புதிய திட்டம் அமல்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதாக பொதுப்பணிகள் மற்றும் நெடுஞ்சாலை துறை அமைச்சர் எ.வ.வேலு தெரிவித்துள்ளார்

- Chief Minister Stalin’s announcement that 6-village council meetings would be held annually. Accordingly, Grama Niladhari meetings will be held on January 26, Republic Day, May 1, Labor Day, August 15, Independence Day, October 2, Gandhiji’s birthday, March 2, World Water Day and November 1, Local Government Day.
- Stalin also announced that November 1 of each year would be observed as Local Government Day
- Rajiv Kumar, deputy chairman of the Judicial Commission, has resigned. Following this, Kaman K Peri has been appointed as the new Deputy Chief Justice
- Minister of Public Works and Highways EV Velu has announced the implementation of a new scheme called “Internal Audit” to rectify the deficiencies in the engineering offices of the Highways Department.
- A 24-member coordinating committee has been set up under the chairmanship of First Minister MK Stalin to better host the Chess Olympiad
