1. ஆறுமுகசாமி ஆணையம்
- முன்னாள் முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா மரணம் தொடர்பான நீதிபதி ஆறுமுகசாமி ஆணையத்தின் அறிக்கை முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் இடம் அளிக்கப்பட்டது.
- 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் மாதம் முந்தைய திமுக ஆட்சியில் அமைக்கப்பட்ட இந்த ஆணையம் சுமார் ஐந்து ஆண்டு காலத்துக்கு பின்னர் 500 பக்க அறிக்கையை தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளது.
2. நூல் வெளியீட்டு விழா
- ‘இந்தியா 75 போர்முனை முதல் ஏர்முனை வரை’ என்ற நூல் வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் பங்கேற்ற இந்திய கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் மூத்த தலைவர் ஆர்.நல்லகண்ணு, விஞ்ஞானி எஸ்.நம்பி நாராயணன், நூலாசிரியர்கள் விஞ்ஞானி மயில்சாமி அண்ணாதுரை மற்றும் ராணுவ விஞ்ஞானி வி.டில்லிபாபு.
3. உலகத் தமிழ் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம்: பதிப்பு துறைக்கு பொறுப்பாளர் நியமனம்
- சென்னை தரமணியில் செயல்பட்டு வரும் உலகத் தமிழ ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தில் பதிப்பு துறையின் முதல் பொறுப்பாளராக பேராசிரியர் ஆ.மணவழகன் நியமனம் செய்யப்பட்டார்.
- தனிநாயகம் அடிகள், மறைந்த முதல்வர் அண்ணா போன்றோரின் அரிய முயற்சியால் 1968இல் தோற்றுவிக்கப்பட்டது உலகத் தமிழ் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம்.
- தமிழ் கல்வியில் உயராய்வினை வளப்படுத்துதல், தமிழ் ஆய்வாளருக்கு தேவையான ஆவணங்களை உருவாக்குதல், தமிழ், தமிழர், இலக்கியம், வரலாறு, மருத்துவம், கல்வி, கலை, சமுதாயம், பண்பாடு, அறிவியல் என துறைதோறும் தமிழாய்வை மேம்படுத்துதல் உள்ளிட்ட நோக்கங்களோடு இந்த நிறுவனம் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது.

1. சாகர்மாலா
- பத்தாவது தேசிய கடல்சார் தேடுதல் மற்றும் மீட்பு பயிற்சியை (சாரக்ஸ்) மத்திய பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சக செயலாளர் அஜய்குமார் சென்னையில் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
- இந்திய கடலோர காவல் படையின் கீழ் இயங்கி வரும் தேசிய கடல்சார் தேடுதல், மீட்பு வாரியம் சார்பில் தேடுதல் மற்றும் மீட்பு பயிற்சி முகாம் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை இந்திய கடலோரப் பகுதிகளில் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

2. உச்சநீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதி பதவி ஏற்பு
- உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தின் 49 வது தலைமை நீதிபதியாக உதய் உமேஷ் லலித் (யு.யு.லலித்) பதவியேற்றார்.
- குடியரசுத் தலைவர் மாளிகையில் நடைபெற்ற பதவியேற்பு விழாவில் அவருக்கு குடியரசு தலைவர் திரௌபதி முர்மு பதவிப்பிரமாணம் செய்து வைத்தார்.
- நேரடி நியமனம் பெறும் இரண்டாவது தலைமை நீதிபதி:
- தலைமை நீதிபதியாக யு.யு.லலித் பதவியேற்றுதன் மூலமாக, வழக்குரைஞராக இருந்து நேரடியாக உச்சநீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாகவும், பின்னர், தலைமை நீதிபதியாகவும் ஆகும் இரண்டாவது நபர் என்ற பெருமையை அடைந்துள்ளார்.
- இவருக்கு முன்பாக, நீதிபதி எஸ்.எம்.சிக்ரி, வழக்குரைஞராக இருந்து நேரடியாக உச்சநீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியாகவும், அதன் பிறகு நாட்டின் 13 வது தலைமை நீதிபதியாகவும் கடந்த 1971 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரியில் பதவியேற்றார்.

- 1957ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 9ஆம் தேதி பிறந்த நீதிபதி யு.யு.லலித் 1983 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூனில் வழக்குரைஞராக பதிவு செய்து, மும்பை உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் வழக்குரை நீர் பணியை தொடங்கினார்.
- பின்னர் 1986 ஆம் ஆண்டு டெல்லிக்கு வந்து வழக்குரைஞர் பணியை தொடர்ந்த அவர் 2004 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரலில் மூத்த வழக்குரைஞராக உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தால் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
- 2ஜி அலைக்கற்றை ஒதுக்கீடு முறைகேடு புகார் வழக்கில் சிபிஐ தரப்பு சிறப்பு அரசு வழக்குரைஞராக அவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
- 74 நாள்கள் மட்டுமே பதவி
- உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தின் 49வது தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பதவியேற்றுள்ள யு.யு.லலித் 74 நாட்கள் மட்டுமே இந்த பதவியை வகிப்பார்.
- வரும் நவம்பர் எட்டாம் தேதி 65 வயதை அடையும் இவர், அன்றுடன் பணி ஓய்வு பெற உள்ளார்.
- இவருக்கு அடுத்து, உச்ச நீதிமன்ற மூத்த நீதிபதியான டி.ஒய்.சந்திர சூட் தலைமை நீதிபதி ஆவதற்கான வரிசையில் உள்ளார்.

- நீதிபதி ஜி.பி.பட்நாயக் (2002 நவம்பர் 8 – 2002 டிசம்பர் 18 வரை) 41 நாள்களும்,
- நீதிபதி எல்.எம்.சர்மா (1992 நவம்பர் 18 – 1993 பிப்ரவரி 11 வரை) 86 நாள்களும் உச்சநீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதியாக பதவி வகித்துள்ளனர்.
- உச்சநீதிமன்ற நீதிபதிகள் 65 வயதிலும், உயர்நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதிகள் 62 வயதிலும் பணி ஓய்வு பெறுகின்றனர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
3. அடல் மேம்பாலம் திறப்பு
- அகமதாபாத்தில் சபர்மதி ஆற்றின் குறுக்கே 300மீட்டர் நீளத்தில் கட்டப்பட்ட மேம்பாலத்துக்கு முன்னால் பிரதமர் அடல் பிகாரி வாஜ்பாயின் நினைவாக ‘அடல் மேம்பாலம்’ என பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- அந்த மேம்பாலத்தை பிரதமர் மோடி திறந்து வைத்தார்.

- ‘ஒரே நாடு ஒரே உரம்’ திட்டத்தின் கீழ், ‘பாரத்’ என்ற ஒற்றைப் பெயரில் மானிய உரங்கள் அனைத்தும் அக்டோபர் மாதம் முதல் விற்பனை செய்யப்பட உள்ளன.
- விவசாயிகளுக்கு குறித்த நேரத்துக்குள் உரங்கள் கிடைப்பதை உறுதி செய்வதுடன், அதன் போக்குவரத்துக்கான மானிய சுமையை குறைப்பதுமே இத்திட்டத்தின் நோக்கம் என மத்திய ரசாயனங்கள் மற்றும் உரங்கள் துறை அமைச்சர் மன்சுக் மாண்டவியா தெரிவித்தார்.

1. Arumugasamy Commission
- The report of Justice Arumugasamy Commission regarding the death of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa was presented to Chief Minister M. K. Stalin.

3. World Tamil Research Institute: Appointment of Officer in charge of Publication Department

1. Sagarmala
- Union Ministry of Defense Secretary Ajay Kumar inaugurated the tenth National Maritime Search and Rescue Exercise (SARAX) in Chennai.

2. Acceptance of office of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court
- Udai Umesh Lalit (UU Lalit) was sworn in as the 49th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
- President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to him at the swearing-in ceremony held at the President’s House.
- Directly appointed Second Chief Justice:
- By assuming office as Chief Justice, U.U.Lalit became the second person to become a Supreme Court judge directly from a lawyer and then as Chief Justice.
- Before him, Justice SM Sikri, who was a lawyer, directly became a Supreme Court judge and then became the 13th Chief Justice of the country in January 1971.
- Key Verdicts:
- U.U.Lalit has given many important judgments as Supreme Court judge.
- In particular, he had obtained from him the session which ruled that the practice of divorce by Muslims through instant triple talaq was illegal and unconstitutional.
- A bench headed by Justice Lalith ruled in 2020 that the royal family of Travancore has the right to manage the historic Thiruvananthapuram Sri Padmanapaswamy temple.

3. Opening of Atal flyover
- The 300-meter-long flyover across the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad is named ‘Atal Flyover’ in honor of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
- Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the flyover.
4. Bharat
- Under the ‘Ore Nadu Ore Uram’ scheme, all the subsidized fertilizers under the single name ‘Bharat’ will be sold from October.
- Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Mansuk Mandaviya said that the objective of this scheme is to ensure timely availability of fertilizers to the farmers and reduce the burden of subsidy for its transportation.
- Announcing the ‘One Nation One Fertilizer’ scheme under the Prime Minister’s Fertilizer Subsidy Scheme (Prime Minister’s Bharatiya Janurwarak Paryojana-PMBJP), he added:
- In one-third space on the fertilizer bags, the trade name, logo and other details related to the product of the concerned manufacturing company are allowed.
