- மாநில அரசுகளுக்கு மே இறுதி வரையிலான ஜிஎஸ்டி இழப்பீடு நிலுவைத் தொகையாக ரூ.86,912 கோடியை மத்திய அரசு விடுவித்துள்ளது. இதில், தமிழகத்துக்கு ரூ.9,602 கோடி கிடைக்கும். நாடு முழுவதும் 2017-ம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 1-ம் தேதி முதல் சரக்கு மற்றும் சேவை வரி (ஜிஎஸ்டி) அமல்படுத்தப்பட்டது. ஜிஎஸ்டி அமல்படுத்தப்படுவதால் மாநிலங்களின் சொந்த வரிவருவாய் பாதிக்கப்படும் என்பதால், 5 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு இந்த பாதிப்பின் சுமையை குறைக்கும் வகையில் இழப்பீடு வழங்கப்படும் என்று மத்திய அரசு உறுதி அளித்தது. அதன் அடிப்படையில், மாநிலங்களுக்கு இழப்பீடு வழங்க, சில பொருட்களின் மீது கூடுதல் வரி விதிக்கப்பட்டு, அந்த வருவாய் இழப்பீட்டுக்கான நிதியத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டது. அந்த தொகை கடந்த 2017 ஜூலை முதல் மாநிலங்களுக்கு இழப்பீடாக பிரித்து வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
- மத்திய அரசு விடுவித்துள்ள இழப்பீட்டுத் தொகையில், தமிழகத்துக்கு ரூ.9,602 கோடி கிடைக்கும். புதுச்சேரிக்கு ரூ.576 கோடி வழங்கப்பட உள்ளது. அதிகபட்சமாக, மகாராஷ்டிர மாநிலத்துக்கு ரூ.14,145 கோடியும், உத்தர பிரதேசத்துக்கு ரூ.8,874 கோடியும், கர்நாடகாவுக்கு ரூ.8,633 கோடியும், கேரளாவுக்கு ரூ.5,693 கோடியும், தெலங்கானாவுக்கு ரூ.296 கோடியும், ஆந்திராவுக்கு ரூ.3,199 கோடியும், டெல்லிக்கு ரூ.8,012 கோடியும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. ஜிஎஸ்டி இழப்பீடு நிலுவைத் தொகை விடுவிப்பு என்பது, மாநிலங்கள் இந்த நிதியாண்டின் மூலதனச் செலவு உள்ளிட்ட திட்டங்களை வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவேற்றுவதை உறுதிசெய்ய உதவும்.
- ஓய்வூதியர்களின் வீட்டுக்கே சென்று வாழ்நாள் சான்றிதழ் பெறும் சேவை: தமிழக அரசு – அஞ்சல் துறை இடையே ஒப்பந்தம். தபால் மூலம் வாழ்நாள் சான்றிதழை சமர்ப்பித்தல் மற்றும் மின்னணு விரல் ரேகை சாதனத்தை பயன்படுத்தி ‘ஜீவன் பிரமான்’ இணையம் மூலம் மின்னணு வாழ்நாள் சான்றிதழ் சமர்ப்பித்தல் ஆகியவற்றில் ஏதேனும் ஒருமுறையில் வாழ்நாள் சான்றிதழை நேர்காணலில் சமர்ப்பித்து வருகின்றனர். இந்நிலையில், இந்த ஆண்டு ஜூலை முதல் செப்டம்பர் வரை நடக்கும் நேர்காணலில் ஓய்வூதியம், குடும்ப ஓய்வூதியம் பெறுவோரின் வயதை கருத்தில்கொண்டும், அவர்கள் நேரில் வருவதில் ஏற்படும் இடர்பாடுகளைத் தவிர்க்கவும் தமிழக அரசு முடிவெடுத்துள்ளது.
- இல்லம் தேடி கல்வி மையங்களில் வாசிப்பு மராத்தான் இயக்கம் – ஜூன் 12 வரை நடைபெறுகிறது. தமிழகத்தில் பள்ளிக்கல்வித் துறையால் அனைத்து மாவட்டங்களிலும் இல்லம் தேடி கல்வி மையங்கள் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதன்மூலம் 33 லட்சம் மாணவர்கள் பயன்பெற்று வருகின்றனர். இதற்கிடையே அடுத்த கல்வியாண்டுக்கான (2022 – 23) வகுப்புகள் ஜூன் 13-ம் தேதி தொடங்கப்படவுள்ளன. இந்நிலையில் மாணவர்களின் வாசித்தல் திறனை மேம்படுத்த ‘ரீடிங் மராத்தான்’ என்ற தலைப்பிலான வாசிப்பு இயக்கம் இன்று (ஜூன் 1) தொடங்கி 12-ம் தேதி வரை நடைபெறவுள்ளது.
- இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆய்வு மையத்தில் (இஸ்ரோ) 33 ஆண்டுகளாகப் பணியாற்றிய பெண் விஞ்ஞானியான எஸ்.கீதா, செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை (31.5.2022) பணிஓய்வு பெற்றார். திருவனந்தரபுரத்தில் உள்ள விக்ரம் சாராபாய் விண்வெளி மையத்தின் (விஎஸ்எஸ்சி) விண்வெளி போக்குவரத்து அமைப்புகள் துறையின் முதல் பெண் திட்ட இயக்குநரான கீதா, வட்டியூா்காவு அரசு உயா்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் மலையாள வழியில் கல்வி பயின்றாா். விண்வெளிக்குச் சென்ற முதல் பெண்ணான வேலன்டினா டெரஸ்கோவாவைக் கண்டு ஊக்கமடைந்த கீதா, திருவனந்தபுரம் பொறியியல் கல்லூரியில் மின்னியல் மற்றும் மின்னணுவியல் (இசிஇ) துறையில் பட்டம் பெற்றார். அதே கல்லூரியில் கன்ட்ரோல் சிஸ்டம்ஸ் பிரிவில் எம்.டெக் பட்டம் பெற்றார்
- உலக கோப்பை துப்பாக்கி சுடுதல் போட்டி அஜர்பைஜான் தலைநகர் பாகு நகரில் நடந்து வருகிறது. நேற்று நடந்த பெண்களுக்கான 10 மீட்டர் ஏர் ரைபிள் அணிகள் பிரிவில் இளவேனில் வளறிவான், ரமிதா, ஸ்ரேயா அக்ராவால் ஆகியோர் அடங்கிய இந்திய அணி முதலாவது தகுதி சுற்றில்4 புள்ளிகளுடன் முதலிடம் பிடித்தது. 2-வது தகுதி சுற்றில் டென்மார்க்கை விட சற்று பின்தங்கியது. இதைத் தொடர்ந்து இறுதிசுற்றுக்கு முன்னேறிய இந்தியா தங்கப்பதக்கத்துக்கான ஆட்டத்தில் டென்மார்க்கை எதிர்கொண்டது. இதில் இலக்கை நோக்கி துல்லியமாக சுட்ட இளவேனில், ரமிதா, ஸ்ரேயா ஆகியோர் கொண்ட இந்திய குழுவினர் 17-5 என்ற புள்ளி கணக்கில் டென்மார்க் அணியினரை சாய்த்து தங்கப்பதக்கத்தை தட்டிச் சென்றனர். முன்னாள் ‘நம்பர் ஒன்’ வீராங்கனையான இளவேனில் கடலூரைச் சேர்ந்தவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
- மத்திய அரசின் காப்பீட்டு திட்டங்களுக்கான ‘ப்ரீமியம்’ தொகை அதிகரிப்பு. ரூ.2 லட்சத்துக்கான ஆயுள் காப்பீடு வழங்கும் பிரதான் மந்திரி ஜீவன் ஜோதி பீமா யோஜனா, பிரதான் மந்திரி சுரக்ஷா பீமா யோஜனா ஆகியவற்றை மத்திய அரசு செயல்படுத்தி வருகிறது. ஜீவன் ஜோதி காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டத்தில் வங்கி அல்லது தபால் நிலைய சேமிப்புக் கணக்கு வைத்துள்ள 18 முதல் 50 வயதினா் இணைந்துகொள்ளலாம். சுரக்ஷா திட்டத்தில் 18 முதல் 70 வயதுடையோா் இணைந்து கொள்ளலாம். ஜீவன் ஜோதி திட்டத்துக்கான ப்ரீமியம் தொகை ஆண்டுக்கு ரூ.330-ஆக இருந்த நிலையில், தற்போது ரூ.436-ஆக (32 சதவீதம்) அதிகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதேபோல், சுரக்ஷா காப்பீட்டுத் திட்டத்துக்கான ஆண்டு ப்ரீமியம் தொகையும் ரூ.12-இல் இருந்து ரூ.20-ஆக (67 சதவீதம்) அதிகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

- The central government has released Rs 86,912 crore in GST arrears to state governments till the end of May. Of this, Tamil Nadu will get Rs 9,602 crore. The Goods and Services Tax (GST) was first implemented across the country on July 1, 2017. As the implementation of GST will affect the own tax revenue of the states, the Central Government has assured that compensation will be provided to reduce the burden of this impact for 5 years. Based on that, in order to compensate the states, additional taxes were levied on certain goods and that revenue was added to the compensation fund. That amount has been distributed to the states as compensation since July 2017.
- Tamil Nadu will get Rs 9,602 crore from the compensation released by the central government. Puducherry is to be given Rs 576 crore. The maximum is Rs 14,145 crore to Maharashtra, Rs 8,874 crore to Uttar Pradesh, Rs 8,633 crore to Karnataka, Rs 5,693 crore to Kerala, Rs 296 crore to Andhra Pradesh and Rs 8,012 crore to Delhi. The release of GST compensation arrears will help ensure that states successfully implement plans, including capital expenditure, for this fiscal year.

Lifetime Certificate Submission by Post and Electronic Lifetime Certificate Submission via Electronic Fingerprint Device ‘Jeevan Brahman’ Internet at any one time. In this context, in an interview to be held from July to September this year, the Government of Tamil Nadu has decided to take into account the age of the pensioners and family pensioners and to avoid any risks in coming face to face with them.
- Reading Marathon Movement in Home Search Educational Centers – Runs until June 12. Geetha, the first female project director of the Department of Aerospace Transport at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) in Trivandrum, was educated in the Malayalam way at the Wadduwa Government School. Inspired by Valentina Tereskova, the first woman to go into space, Geeta graduated from the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram with a degree in Electronics and Electronics (ECE). He holds an M.Tech degree in Control Systems from the same college
- The World Cup sniper competition is taking place in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. In the women’s 10m air rifle team event held yesterday, the Indian team comprising of spring growers, Ramita and Shreya Agrawal topped the first qualifying round with 944.4 points. Slightly behind Denmark in the 2nd qualifying round. Following this, India advanced to the finals and faced Denmark in the gold medal match. In the spring, Ramita and Shreya led the Indian team to a 17-5 victory over Denmark to clinch the gold medal. The former ‘Number One’ is from Cuddalore in the spring.
- Increase in ‘Premium’ amount for Central Government Insurance Schemes. The central government is implementing the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, which provide life insurance for Rs 2 lakh. People between the ages of 18 and 50 who have a bank or post office savings account can join the Jeevan Jyoti insurance scheme. 18 to 70 year olds can join the Suraksha scheme. The premium for Jeevan Jyoti scheme has been increased from Rs.330 per annum to Rs.436 (32 per cent). Similarly, the annual premium for a Suraksha insurance scheme has been increased from Rs 12 to Rs 20 (67 per cent).
