1. நிதீஷ் இன்று மீண்டும் முதல்வராகிறார்

2. பிரதமர் மோடியின் சொத்து மதிப்பு
- பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடியின் சொத்து மதிப்பு கடந்த 2021-22 நிதியாண்டில் ரூபாய் 26 லட்சம் அதிகரித்து ரூபாய் 2.23 கோடியாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது.
- கடந்த மார்ச் 31ம் தேதி நிலவரப்படி பிரதமர் மோடியின் ஒட்டுமொத்த சொத்து மதிப்பு ரூபாய் 2,23,82,504 ஆக உள்ளது.
- அதில் ரூபாய் 35,250 கையிருப்பாகவும், தபால் அலுவலக கணக்குகளில் ரூபாய் 9,05,105 சேமிப்பாகவும் இருக்கும்.
- ரூபாய் 1,89,305 ஆயுள் காப்பீட்டு திட்டங்களில் சேமிப்பாகவும் உள்ளதாக குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
3. சுகாதார காப்பீடுகளில் பொதுத் துறை நிறுவனங்களுக்கு இழப்பு
- சுகாதார காப்பீடுகளுக்கான தொகையை அளிப்பது கடந்த ஐந்தாண்டுகளில் அதிகரித்துள்ளதால் பொதுத்துறை காப்பீட்டு நிறுவனங்கள் ரூ.26,364 கோடி இழப்பை சந்தித்துள்ளதாக தலைமை கணக்கு தணிக்கையாளரின் (சிஏஜி) அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- சிஏஜியின் அறிக்கை நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் அண்மையில் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது.
- அதில் சுகாதாரத் துறையில் பொதுத்துறை காப்பீட்டு நிறுவனங்களின் இழப்பு அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

- மோட்டார் காப்பீட்டு துறைக்கு பிறகு சுகாதாரத் துறையே மிகப்பெரிய காப்பீட்டு துறையாக திகழ்கிறது.
4. 2022-23 முதல் காலாண்டில் பொதுத்துறை வங்கிகளின் லாபம் அதிகரிப்பு
- நிகழ் நிதியாண்டின் ஏப்ரல் முதல் ஜூன் வரையிலான முதல் காலாண்டில் 12 பொதுத்துறை வங்கிகளும் கூட்டமாக சுமார் ₹ 15,306 கோடி லாபம் ஈட்டியுள்ளனர்.
- இது கடந்த நிதியாண்டை காட்டிலும் 9 சதவீதம் அதிகமாகும்.
- கடந்த நிதி ஆண்டில் இதே காலகட்டத்தில் பொதுத்துறை வங்கிகள் ரூபாய் 14,013 கோடி லாபம் ஈட்டியிருந்தனர்.
- நிகழாண்டு 9.2% அதிகரித்து ரூபாய் 15,306 கோடி லாபம் ஈட்டி உள்ளன. பாரத ஸ்டேட் வங்கியின் லாபம் ரூபாய் 6,068 கோடியாக உள்ளது.
- இந்த வங்கியின் லாபம் நிகழாண்டு குறைந்த போதிலும் ஒட்டு மொத்த பொதுத்துறை வங்கிகள் ஈட்டிய இலாபத்தில் பாரத ஸ்டேட் வங்கியின் பங்களிப்பு 40 சதவீதம் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
5. தேயிலை ஏற்றுமதி ஏழு சதவீதம் அதிகரிப்பு
- 2022 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி முதல் மே மாதம் வரையிலான 5 மாதங்களில் நாட்டின் தேயிலை ஏற்றுமதி 7 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளதாக தேயிலை வாரியம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- மிக அதிகபட்சமாக ஐக்கிய அரபு அமீரகம் 1.31 கோடி கிலோ தேயிலையை இந்தியாவிடம் இருந்து வாங்கி உள்ளது.
- இதற்கு அடுத்தபடியாக ரஷ்யா கூட்டமைப்பு 1.15 கோடி கிலோ தேயிலையை இந்தியாவிடம் இருந்து கொள்முதல் செய்துள்ளது.
- இந்தியாவிடம் இருந்து தேயிலை அதிகம் இறக்குமதி செய்யும் நாடுகள் பட்டியலில் மூன்றாவது இடத்தில் ஈரான் உள்ளது.
6. இந்தியர்களை அதிகம் கவரும் துபாய்
- இந்தியாவில் இருந்து துபாய்க்கு சுற்றுலா செல்வோரின் எண்ணிக்கை கடந்த ஜனவரி முதல் ஜூன் மாதம் வரையிலான காலகட்டத்தில் இரு மடங்குக்கு மேல் அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

1. செஸ் ஒலிம்பியாட்டு நிறைவு
- மாமல்லபுரத்தில் நடைபெற்ற 44ஆவது செஸ் ஒலிம்பியாட் போட்டியில் மொத்தம் 17 இந்தியர்கள் பதக்கம் வென்றுள்ளனர்.
- இதில் இரண்டு பேருக்கு தனி நபர் தங்கம், ஒரு வெள்ளி, தலா நான்கு வெண்கலம், அணிகள் சார்பில் 10 பேருக்கு வெண்கலம் என 17 பதக்கங்கள் அடங்கும்.

2. ஒலிம்பிக் தங்க வேட்டை திட்டம்
- ஒலிம்பிக் போட்டிகளில் பதக்கம் வெல்லும் வகையில் விளையாட்டு வீரர்களை உருவாக்க ரூபாய் 25 கோடியில் ஒலிம்பிக் தங்க வேட்டை திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்படும் என்று முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் அறிவித்தார்.
- இதன்படி 50 விளையாட்டு வீரர்கள் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டு நான்கு ஆண்டுகளில் அவர்களின் திறன்களை மேம்படுத்த ரூபாய் 60 கோடி செலவு செய்யப்படும்.

1. Nitish will become Chief Minister again today
- Alliance break with BJP; Tejashree Deputy Chief Minister.
- United Janata Dal leader Nitish Kumar resigned from his post as chief minister after breaking the alliance with BJP in Bihar.
- Opposition parties including Rashtriya Janata Dal, Congress and Left have supported Nitish Kumar and he will take office again as Chief Minister.
2. PM Modi’s net worth
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assets increased by Rs 26 lakh to Rs 2.23 crore in the last financial year 2021-22.
- As on March 31, the total assets of Prime Minister Modi are Rs 2,23,82,504.
- Out of which Rs 35,250 will be in reserve and Rs 9,05,105 in post office accounts.
- Rs 1,89,305 is also mentioned as savings in life insurance plans.
3. Loss to Public Sector Undertakings on Health Insurance
- Public sector insurance companies have incurred a loss of Rs 26,364 crore as health insurance premiums have increased over the past five years, according to a report by the Auditor General (CAG).
- The report of CAG was tabled in Parliament recently.
- Out of which the losses of public sector insurance companies have increased in the health sector.

4. Increased profitability of public sector banks in the first quarter of 2022-23
- The 12 public sector banks have collectively made a profit of around ₹ 15,306 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year from April to June.
- This is 9 percent more than last fiscal year.
- Public sector banks had made a profit of Rs 14,013 crore during the same period last financial year.
- They have made a profit of Rs 15,306 crores with an increase of 9.2% this year. State Bank of India’s profit stands at Rs 6,068 crore.
- It is noteworthy that the contribution of State Bank of India is 40 percent of the total profit earned by public sector banks despite the decrease in the profit of this bank.
5. Seven percent increase in tea exports
- The Tea Board reported that the country’s tea exports increased by 7 percent in the 5 months from January to May 2022.
- UAE has bought the highest amount of 1.31 crore kg of tea from India.
- Next to this, the Russian Federation has procured 1.15 crore kg of tea from India.
- Iran is the third largest importer of tea from India.
6. Dubai attracts most Indians
- The number of tourists from India to Dubai has more than doubled between last January and June.

1. Completed Chess Olympiad
- A total of 17 Indians won medals in the 44th Chess Olympiad held at Mamallapuram.
- This includes 17 medals including two individual gold, one silver, four bronze each, and 10 bronze for teams.
- Total of 11 round matches were played.
- Uzbekistan Armenia and India B teams won gold, silver and bronze respectively in the open category.
- In the women’s category, Ukraine, Georgia and India A teams won gold, silver, and bronze respectively.
- Bronze for India B and A teams:
- The Indian team consisted of Athiban, Gukesh and Pragnananda.
- Indian Women’s A team included Harika Dronavalli, Koneru Hampi, R. Vaishali, Bhakti Kulkarni and Tanya Sachdev who were fully pregnant.
- Gold for Gukesh, Nihal Sareen:
- Indian young players T. Gukesh and Nihal Sareen won gold in individual medals.
- Team A’s Arjun Erikaisi won silver and team B’s Pragnananda won bronze.

2. Olympic gold rush program
- Chief Minister M.K.Stalin announced that the Olympic Gold Hunt program will be implemented at a cost of Rs 25 crore to produce athletes to win medals in the Olympic Games.
- According to this, 50 sportspersons will be selected and Rs 60 crore will be spent on developing their skills over four years.
- India’s first international chess master Manuel Aaron was honored at the closing ceremony of the Chess Olympiad.
3. Gold for Uzbekistan, Ukraine
- The Uzbekistan team won the gold medal in the open category and the Ukraine team won the gold medal in the women’s category.
