- The Hansa NG state-of-the-art training aircraft developed in India for training pilots has been successfully tested at sea level
- Award to NLC India: NLC India has been awarded 4 National Awards for operations that have run accident-free and exhibit high technological capability. NLC India’s Executive Director Suresh Chandra Suman and Defense Officer Bharathi Dasan received the National Security Award for 2020 from Union Labor and Employment Minister Bhupender Yadav on behalf of NLC India.
- The government led by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday tabled a paperless budget for the financial year 2022-23 in the Assembly on Friday.
- Former Supreme Court judge AK Sikri has been appointed as the chairman of the Sardam Project High Authority Committee. In Uttarakhand, a 900 km long highway will be constructed at a cost of Rs 12,000 crore to connect the four holy sites (Sardam) at Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. The highway will be built to reach the Chinese border.
- The court has appointed a panel headed by retired judge Amitava Roy to study and make recommendations on reforms to be made in prison administration.
