1. மணிப்பூர் மாநிலத்தின் முதல்வராக இரண்டாம் முறையாக பைரன் சிங் தேர்வுசெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

2. தலைமன்னார் – தனுஷ்கோடி இடையே 29 கிலோமீட்டர் கடல் தூரத்தை 13 மணி நேரத்தில் நீந்தி கடந்த சிறுமி ஜியா ராய். டி ஜி பி சைலேந்திரபாபு மலர்க்கொத்து கொடுத்து வரவேற்றார்.
