1. பிஎஃப்ஐ அமைப்புக்கு 5 ஆண்டுகள் தடை
- பாப்புலர் பிராண்ட் ஆப் இந்தியா (பிஎஃப்ஐ) மற்றும் அந்த அமைப்புடன் தொடர்புடைய 7 அமைப்புகளுக்கு சட்டவிரோத நடவடிக்கைகள் தடுப்பு சட்டத்தின் (உபா) கீழ் மத்திய அரசு ஐந்து ஆண்டுகள் தடை விதித்துள்ளது.
- சர்வதேச பயங்கரவாத அமைப்புடன் தொடர்பு உள்ளதாக கூறி நாடு முழுவதும் பிஎஃப்ஐ அமைப்பின் அலுவலகங்கள், நிர்வாகிகளின் வீடுகளில் தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு முகமை ( என் ஐ ஏ ) கடந்த சில தினங்களில் இருமுறை சோதனை நடத்தி 350 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நிர்வாகிகளை கைது செய்திருந்த நிலையில், இந்த தடை உத்தரவுக்காக அரசாணையை மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சகம் பிறப்பித்தது.
- பிஎஃப்ஐ அமைப்புடன் தொடர்புடைய ரீஹாப் இந்தியா பவுண்டஷன் ஆஃப் இந்தியா, அகில இந்தியா இமாம்ஸ் கவுன்சில், தேசிய மனித உரிமை கூட்டமைப்பு, மகளிர் பிரண்ட், ஜூனியர் பிரண்ட், எம்பவர் இந்தியா பவுண்டஷன் அண்ட் ரீஹாப் பவுண்டஷன் கேரளம் ஆகிய அமைப்புகளுக்கும் தடை விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- தடையால் என்னவாகும்?
- தடை விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள அமைப்புகளின் சொத்துகள், வங்கி கணக்குகள் மற்றும் அவர்களின் வழக்கமான செயல்பாடுகள் முழுமையாக முடக்கப்படும்.
- தடைக்கான அரசாணை பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்ட 30 நாள்களுக்குள் தீர்ப்பாயத்தை உருவாக்கி, இந்த சட்ட நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க தேவையான காரணங்கள் உள்ளதா என விசாரிக்கப்படும். தீர்ப்பாயத்தில் பிஎஃப்ஐயும் வாதிடலாம்.
- 5 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு இந்த தடை உத்தரவு அமலில் இருக்கும்.
- தேவைப்பட்டால் அரசு இதை நீடிக்கவும் செய்யலாம்.
- இந்த தடை உத்தரவில் தொடர்புடையவர்கள் 14 நாள்களில் சம்பத்தப்பட்ட மாவட்ட நீதிபதியை அணுகி முடக்கப்பட்ட தமது நிதி, சட்டவிரோத செயல்பாடுகளுக்கு பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது என மனு அளிக்க வேண்டும்.
- அதன் மீது மாவட்டத்தின் நீதிபதி தான் முடிவு எடுப்பார்.
2. முப்படை தலைமை தளபதி
- நாட்டின் முதல் முப்படை தலைமை தளபதியான விபின் ராவத், கடந்த ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 8-ஆம் தேதி குன்னுர் அருகே நிகழ்ந்த ஹெலிகாப்டர் விபத்தில் உயிரிழந்தார்.
- அந்த பதவி 9 மாதங்களுக்கும் மேலாக நிரப்பப்படாமல் இருந்தது.
- இந்நிலையில், புதிய முப்படை தலைமை தளபதியாக ஓய்வு பெற்ற லஃட்டினென்ட் ஜெனரல் அணில் சௌஹான் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.
- அவர் பொறுப்பேற்கும் நாள்முதல் ராணுவ விவகாரங்கள் துறை செயலாளராகவும் செயல்படுவார் என்று பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

- சுமார் 40 ஆண்டுகள் ராணுவத்தில் பணியாற்றிய அவர், ஜம்மு- காஸ்மீர் மற்றும் வடகிழக்கு இந்தியாவில் பயங்கரவாதத்துக்கு எதிரான நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொண்டதில் பரந்த அனுபவம் கொண்டவர்.
- அவரின் தன்னிகரில்லா சேவையை பாராட்டி சேனை பதக்கம், உத்தம் யுத்த சேவை பதக்கம் உள்ளிட்ட விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
3. புதிய அட்டர்னி ஜெனரல்
- தற்போதைய அட்டர்னி ஜெனரல் கே.கே.வேணுகோபாலின் பதவிக்காலம் வரும் 30-ஆம் தேதி நிறைவடைய உள்ள நிலையில், புதிய அட்டர்னி ஜெனெரலாக ஆர்.வெங்கடரமணியை நியமித்து குடியரசு தலைவர் திரௌபதி முர்மு உத்தரவிட்டார்.
- இவர் பதவியேற்கும் நாளிலிருந்து 3 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பதவி வகிப்பார்.
- உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தில் மத்திய அரசு மூத்த வழக்குரைஞர்கள் குழுவில் இடம்பெற்றிந்த ஆர்.வெங்கட்ராமணி, பெரும்பாலும் மறைமுக வரி தொடர்பான ஆஜராகி வாதாடியவர்.
- இந்திய சட்ட ஆணையத்தின் உறுப்பினராக கடந்த 2010 முதல் 2013 ஆம் ஆண்டு பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.
- ஆந்திர மாநில அரசுகளுக்கான சிறப்பு மூத்த வழக்குரைஞராக வழக்குகளில், ஆஜராகி வாதாடியுள்ளார்.
- சிதம்பரம் நடராஜர் கோயில், சபரிமலை, அயோத்தி வழக்குகளில் ஆஜராகி வாதாடியுள்ளார்.
- புதுச்சேரியில் 1950 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 13 ஆம் தேதி பிறந்த வெங்கட்ராமணி, 1977 ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழக வழக்குரைஞர் சங்கத்தில் (பார் கவுன்சில்) வழக்குரைனராக பதிவு பெற்றார்.
- 1979 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் உச்சநீதிமன்ற வழக்குரைஞராக பணியை தொடர்ந்த இவரை, உச்சநீதிமன்றம் மூத்த வழக்குரைஞராக 1997 ஆம் ஆண்டு நியமித்தது.
4. தேசிய விளையாட்டு போட்டிகள்
- குஜராத் மாநிலம் அகமதாபாத்தில் 36 ஆவது தேசிய விளையாட்டு போட்டிகளை பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி செப்டம்பர் 29 இல் தொடங்கினார்.
5. சவூதி பிரதமர்
- சவூதி அரேபிய பட்டத்து இளவரசர் முகமது பின் சல்மானை, அந்த நாட்டின் பிரதமராக மன்னர் சல்மான் பின் அப்துலஜீஸ் நியமித்துள்ளார்.

- மறைந்த பிரபல பாடகி லதா மங்கேஸ்கரின் பாடல்களால் நாடெங்கும் ஸ்ரீ ராமநாமம் சிறப்பாக பரவியது என்று, அயோத்தியில் நடைபெற்ற லதா மங்கேஸ்கர் சௌக் திறப்பு விழாவுக்கு தெரிவித்த வாழ்த்து செய்தியில் பிரதமர் மோடி குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
- மறைந்த பிரபல பாடகி லதா மங்கேஸ்கரின் நினைவாக அயோத்தியில் அவரது பெயரில் சரயூநதி கரையில் ஒரு சந்திப்பில் லதா மங்கேஸ்கர் சௌராஹா என்ற பெயரில் 7.9 ரூபாய் கோடி செலவில் நினைவு சின்னம் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- இதனை மத்திய சுற்றுலா துறை அமைச்சர் ஜி. கிஷன் ரெட்டி முன்னிலையில், உத்திரபிரதேச முதல்வர் யோகி ஆதித்யநாத் திறந்து வைத்தார்.

1. இந்திய கால்பந்து கேப்டன் சுனில் சேத்ரீக்கு பிபா கெளரவம்
- சர்வதேச கால்பந்து அரங்கில் போர்ச்சுக்கல் கேப்டன் கிறிஸ்டியானோ ரொனால்டோ 117 கோல்களுடன் முதலிடத்திலும், ஆர்ஜென்டினா கேப்டன் லயோனல் மெஸ்ஸி 90 கோல்களுடன் இரண்டாம் இடத்திலும், 84 கோலடித்த சுனில் சேத்ரி மூன்றாம் இடத்திலும் அதிக கோல்களை அடித்த வீரர்கள் என்ற சாதனையுடன் உள்ளனர்.

1. 5 years ban on PFI system
- The Center has imposed a five-year ban on Popular Brands of India (BFI) and 7 associated organizations under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UPA).
- In the past few days, National Security Agency (NIA) has conducted two raids in the offices and houses of executives of PFI organization and arrested more than 350 executives alleging that they have links with the international terrorist organization.
- Rehab India Foundation of India, All India Imams Council, National Human Rights Federation, Women’s Friend, Junior Friend, Empower India Foundation and Rehab Foundation Kerala have also been banned.
- What happens with the ban?
- Assets, bank accounts and regular operations of banned organizations will be completely frozen.
- Within 30 days of the Prohibition Order, a Tribunal will be constituted to inquire whether there are grounds for taking such legal action. PFI can also argue in the tribunal.
- The ban will remain in force for 5 years.
- Govt can also extend this if required.
- Those affected by this prohibition order should approach the district judge within 14 days and submit a petition that their frozen funds have been used for illegal activities.
- The judge of the district will decide on it.
2. Commander-in-Chief of the Triforce
- Vipin Rawat, the country’s first tri-army chief, died in a helicopter crash near Kunnur on December 8 last year.
- The post remained unfilled for more than 9 months.
- In this case, retired Lt. Gen. Anil Chauhan was appointed as the new Commander-in-Chief of the Triforce.
- From the date of his assumption of charge, he will also act as Secretary, Department of Military Affairs, Ministry of Defense said.
- Trained at the National Defense Academy, Pune, Maharashtra, and the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Aneel Chauhan was commissioned into the Gurkha Rifles of the Indian Army in 1981.
- Having served in the Army for nearly 40 years, he has vast experience in counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir and North East India.
- In recognition of his selfless service, he has been awarded the Army Medal and Uttam Yuddha Seva Medal.
3. New Attorney General
- President Draupadi Murmu appointed R. Venkataramani as the new Attorney General as the current Attorney General KK Venugopal’s tenure is about to end on the 30th.
- He will hold office for 3 years from the date of his assumption of office.
- R. Venkataramani, who was part of the Central Government’s senior advocate group in the Supreme Court, mostly appeared and argued on indirect taxes.
- Served as Member of Law Commission of India from 2010 to 2013.
- Appeared and argued in cases as Special Senior Advocate for Andhra State Governments.
- He has appeared and argued in Chidambaram Nataraja Temple, Sabarimala, Ayodhya cases.
- Born in Puducherry on 13th April 1950, Venkatramani was enrolled as a solicitor in Tamil Nadu Bar Council in 1977.
- He continued to work as a Supreme Court advocate since 1979, and was appointed as a senior advocate by the Supreme Court in 1997.
4. National sports competitions
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 36th National Games in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on September 29.
5. Saudi Prime Minister
- King Salman bin Abdulaziz has appointed Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as the country’s prime minister.
6. Lata Mangeskar Chauraha
- Prime Minister Modi mentioned in his congratulatory message at the opening ceremony of Lata Mangeshkar Chowk in Ayodhya that the songs of the late popular singer Lata Mangeshkar spread the Sri Ramanam all over the country.
- In memory of the late popular singer Lata Mangeshkar, a memorial named Lata Mangeshkar Chauraha has been erected at a cost of Rs 7.9 crore at a junction in her name on the banks of Sarayun river in Ayodhya.
