• இன்று அலோபதி மருத்துவராக இருந்து ஹோமியோபதி மருத்துவ சிறப்பை உணர்ந்து ஹோமியோபதி மருத்துவராக மாறியவரும்,சமூக ஆர்வலருமான மகேந்திரலால் சர்க்கார் (1833) பிறந்த தினம்.

மத்திய செய்திகள்

 1. சுதந்திரப் போராட்டத்தில் பழங்குடியினரின் மாபெரும் பங்களிப்பு

• சுதந்திரப் போராட்டத்தின் போது பழங்குடியினர் பங்களிப்பு மாபெரும் வரலாறாகும். அந்த வரலாற்றை சரித்திரத்தில் இடம்பெறச் செய்துள்ளோம் என்று பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி பேசினார்.
• சுதந்திரப் போராட்டத்தின்போது ஆங்கிலேயர்களை எதிர்த்து நடைபெற்ற ஜாலியன் வாலாபாக் படுகொலைக்கு முன்னதாகவே திகழ்ந்த மிகப் பெரிய படுகொலை மான்கர் தாம் வனப்பகுதியில் நிகழ்ந்த படுகொலையாகும்.
• 1913ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 17-இல் ராஜஸ்தான் மாநிலம் பன்ஸ்வாரா மாவட்டத்தில் கோவிந்த் குரு தலைமையில் ஆங்கிலேயர்களை எதிர்த்து ஆயிரக்கணக்கானோர் மான்கர் மலையை நோக்கிப்பேரணி சென்றனர்.
• அப்போது அந்தக் கூட்டத்தை நோக்கி ஆங்கிலேய வீரர்கள் கண்மூடித்தனமாகத் துப்பாக்கியால் சுட்டதில் பெண்கள், குழந்தைகள் உள்பட1,500-க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் பலியாகினர். வரலாற்றில் இச்சம்பவம் மான்கர்தாம் படுகொலை எனக் குறிப்பிடப்படுகிறது.
• இப்போராட்டத்தின் போது உயிரிழந்த மக்களின் நினைவிடம் ராஜஸ்தான் மாநிலம், பன்ஸ்வாரா மாவட்டம், மான்கரில் உள்ளது.
• 1857-ஆம் ஆண்டு நிகழ்ந்த முதல் இந்திய சுதந்திரப் போருக்கு முன்னதாகவே தீவிர சுதந்திரப் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டவர்கள் பழங்குடியின மக்கள். சந்தால் பழங்குடியின மக்கள் 1780-லேயே பிரிட்டிஷாருக்கு எதிராகப்போராடியுள்ளனர்.

பொருளாதாரம்

 1. அக்டோபா் ஜிஎஸ்டி வசூல் ரூ.1.52 லட்சம் கோடி – 2 வது அதிகபட்ச தொகை

• அக்டோபரில் சரக்கு மற்றும் சேவை வரியாக (ஜிஎஸ்டி) ரூ.1.52 லட்சம் கோடி வசூலாகியுள்ளது.
• அக்டோபா் மாத ஜிஎஸ்டி வசூல், கடந்த ஏப்ரல் மாதத்துக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக வசூலான இரண்டாவது அதிகபட்ச தொகையாகும்.
• கடந்த ஆண்டு அக்டோபா் மாதத்தில் ரூ.1.30 லட்சம் கோடி ஜிஎஸ்டி வசூலாகியிருந்த நிலையில், இந்த ஆண்டு 16.6 சதவீதம் அதிக வரி வசூல் பதிவாகியுள்ளது.
• கடந்த ஏப்ரலில் ஜிஎஸ்டி வருவாய் சாதனை அளவாக ரூ.1.68 லட்சம் கோடியாக இருந்தது. கடந்த செப்டம்பரில் ரூ.1.48 லட்சம் கோடி வசூலாகியிருந்தது
• மாநிலங்களைப் பொருத்தவரை, ரூ.23,037 கோடி ஜிஎஸ்டி வருவாயை ஈட்டி, அக்டோபரில் அதிக வருவாய் ஈட்டிய மாநிலங்களின் பட்டியலில் மகாராஷ்டிரம் முதல் இடத்தில் உள்ளது.

தமிழக ஜிஎஸ்டி வருவாய்:-

• தமிழகத்தின் ஜிஎஸ்டி வருவாய் ரூ.9,540 கோடியாகவும், புதுச்சேரியின் ஜிஎஸ்டி வருவாய் ரூ.204 கோடியாகவும் உள்ளது

நோய்கள்

 1. மையோசைட்டிஸ்

• மையோசைட்டிஸ் என்பது ஒரு வகையான தசை அழற்சி நோய். உடலின் நோய் எதிர்ப்பாற்றலே தசை செல்களுக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்பட்டு அதைச் சிதைப்பதற்கு மையோசைட்டிஸ் எனப் பெயா்.
• இந்த தசை அழற்சி நோயானது ஆண், பெண் இரு பாலருக்கும் வரக் கூடியது. அதிலும், குறிப்பாக பெண்களுக்கு வருவதற்கு சற்று கூடுதலான வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது. மருத்துவத் துறையில் இடியோபதிக் இன்ஃப்ளமேட்டரி மையோசைட்டிஸ் (ஐஐஎம்) என அதை அழைக்கின்றனா்.
• தசை அழற்சி நோயின் வகைகள்:-
• தோல் பாதிப்புடன் கூடிய தசை அழற்சி நோய் (டொ்மடோ மையோசைட்டிஸ்).
• தோல் பாதிப்பற்ற தசை அழற்சி நோய் (பாலி மையோசைட்டிஸ்).
• காரணம்:-
• மையோசைட்டிஸ் நோய் வருவதற்கான காரணத்தை இன்னமும் மருத்துவ உலகத்தால் உறுதியாகக் கண்டறிய முடியவில்லை.
• ஒரு வகையான வைரஸ் தொற்றால் இது ஏற்படலாம் என்றாலும் அதனை உறுதி செய்ய இயலவில்லை.
• உலகம் முழுவதும் இந்நோய் பரவலாக உள்ளது. குறிப்பாக, குளிர் மற்றும் மழை காலங்களில் பாதிப்பு அதிகம் இருக்கும்.
• பாதிப்பு:-
• உடலில் பழைய தசைநார் திசுக்கள் இறந்து புது திசுக்கள் உருவாவது இயற்கை. அவ்வாறு இயற்கையாக அல்லாமல் மையோசைட்டிஸ் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவா்களுக்கு நோய் எதிர்ப்பாற்றல் எதிர்வினையால் தசை அழற்சி ஏற்பட்டு செல்கள் சிதைவுக்குள்ளாகும்.
• இதை கவனிக்காவிட்டால் இயல்பு வாழ்க்கையை முடக்கிவிடும். தசை செல்கள் நிரந்தரமாக அழியக்கூடிய வாய்ப்பும் உள்ளது.
• பொதுவாக உணவு உண்ணும்போது உணவுக் குழாய் திறந்துகொண்டு, சுவாசக் குழாய் மூடிக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
• மையோசைட்டிஸ் பாதிப்பால் தசை பலவீனமாக இருக்கும்போது உண்ணும் உணவானது சுவாசக் குழாய்க்குச் செல்லும் வாய்ப்பு ஏற்படும்.
• அவ்வாறு ஏற்பட்டால் ஆஸ்பிரேசன் நிமோனியா ஏற்படக் கூடும். அது ஒருகட்டத்தில் உயிரிழப்பை ஏற்படுத்தலாம். இதைத் தவிர, டொ்மோ மையோசைட்டிஸ் பாதிப்புக்குள்ளாவோருக்கு அரிதாக புற்றுநோய் பாதிப்பு ஏற்படக்கூடும்.
• அறிகுறிகள்:-.
• காய்ச்சல்; உடல் சோர்வு; பசியின்மை; தசைகளில் வீக்கம்; படுக்கையிலிருந்து எழுவதில், உட்கார்ந்து எழுவதில், நடப்பதில் சிரமம்;உணவு விழுங்குதலில், தண்ணீா் அருந்துதலில் சிரமம்.
• இருமல்; மூச்சுத் திணறல்; பேசுவதில் சிரமம்; குரல் மாற்றம்; தோலில் சிவந்த தடிப்பு;மார்பகத்தில் சிவந்த தடிப்புகள்; தசைகளில் வலி;
• பாதிப்பு விகிதம்:-
• 1 லட்சத்தில் 22 பேருக்கு வரலாம்

• ட்விட்டா் நிறுவனத்தை வாங்கியுள்ள டெஸ்லா நிறுவனா் எலான் மஸ்க், நிறுவனத்தின் தலைமைப் பொறுப்புக்குப் புதிய நிர்வாகிகளை நியமித்து வரும் நிலையில், அவரது தொழில்நுட்ப ஆலோசகராக சென்னையைச் சோ்ந்த ஸ்ரீராம் கிருஷ்ணன் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறார்.
• ட்விட்டா் நிறுவனத்தை எலான் மஸ்க் கடந்த வாரம் வாங்கினார். முதல் நாளிலேயே, அந்நிறுவனத்தின் தலைமை செயல் அதிகாரியாக இருந்த இந்தியரான பராக் அக்ரவால் உள்ளிட்ட ஐவரை அவா் பணியில் இருந்து நீக்கினார்.

 1. புனித் ராஜ்குமாருக்கு – கர்நாடக ரத்னா விருது

• மறைந்த கன்னட நடிகா் புனித் ராஜ்குமாருக்கு கா்நாடக அரசின் ‘கா்நாடக ரத்னா’ விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. இவ்விருதை அவரது மனைவி அஸ்வினியிடம் முதல்வா் பசவராஜ் பொம்மை வழங்கினார்
• கன்னட நடிகா் ராஜ்குமாரின் மகனும், நடிகருமான புனித் ராஜ்குமார், கடந்த ஆண்டு அக். 29ஆம் தேதி தனது 46ஆவது வயதில் மாரடைப்பால் காலமானார்.
• கா்நாடக உதய தின விழாவில் கா்நாடக அரசின் உயா்ந்த ‘கா்நாடக ரத்னா’ விருது நடிகா் புனித் ராஜ்குமாருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது. புனித் ராஜ்குமாரின் மனைவி அஸ்வினியிடம் விருதை முதல்வா் பசவராஜ் பொம்மை வழங்கினார்.

• கடந்த 2009 ஆம் ஆண்டு வீரேந்திர ஹெக்டேக்கு கா்நாடக ரத்னா விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. 1992ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் வழங்கப்படும் இந்த விருதை பெறும் 9ஆவது நபா் புனித் ராஜ்குமார்.
• இதுவரை முன்னாள் முதல்வா் எஸ்.நிஜலிங்கப்பா, சி.என்.ஆா்.ராவ், பீம்சென் ஜோஷி, சிவகுமார சுவாமிகள், ஜே.ஜவரே கௌடா ஆகியோருக்கு இந்த விருது வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• கா்நாடக முதல்வா்:- பசவராஜ் பொம்மை

மறைவு

 1. சுதந்திர போராட்ட தியாகி விஸ்வநாத் தாஸ் மறைவு

• ஒடிஸாவை சோ்ந்த சுதந்திர போராட்ட தியாகி விஸ்வநாத் தாஸ் காலமானார்.அவருக்கு வயது 106.
• ஒடிஸாவின் ஜகத்சிங்பூா் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள பாலிகுடா பகுதியை சோ்ந்த அவா், மகாத்மா காந்தியின் அழைப்பை ஏற்று சுதந்திர போராட்டத்தில் பங்கேற்றார்.
• அவா் ‘பாலிகுடா காந்தி’ என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுவார்.கடந்த 2012-ஆம் ஆண்டு முன்னாள் குடியரசுத் தலைவா் பிரணாப் முகா்ஜியால் கெளரவிக்கப்பட்ட அவா், கடந்த 2020-இல் ‘வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு’ இயக்க போராட்ட தினத்தையொட்டி குடியரசுத் தலைவா் விருது பெற்றார்.

1. Great contribution of tribals in freedom struggle

• Tribal contribution during the freedom struggle is a great history. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that we have made that history a part of history.
• The biggest massacre that took place in the Mangar Dham Forest was the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre during the freedom struggle against the British.
• On November 17, 1913, thousands of people marched towards Mankar Hill in Banswara district of Rajasthan under the leadership of Govind Guru against the British.
• At that time, British soldiers fired indiscriminately at the crowd, killing more than 1,500 people, including women and children. This event is referred to in history as the Mankardham Massacre.
• A memorial to the people who died during this struggle is located in Mangar, Banswara District, Rajasthan.
• Prior to the First Indian War of Independence in 1857, the tribal people were active in the freedom struggle. The Santhal tribal people fought against the British as early as 1780.

1. October GST collection was Rs 1.52 lakh crore – the second highest amount

• 1.52 lakh crore was collected as goods and services tax (GST) in October.
• October’s GST collection is second highest after last April.
• While last year’s GST collection was Rs.1.30 lakh crore in the month of October, this year tax collection is 16.6 percent higher.
• Last April, GST revenue was a record Rs 1.68 lakh crore. Last September, Rs 1.48 lakh crore was collected
• As far as states are concerned, Maharashtra topped the list of highest revenue earners in October with a GST revenue of Rs 23,037 crore.
• Tamil Nadu GST Revenue:-
• Tamil Nadu’s GST revenue is Rs 9,540 crore and Puducherry’s GST revenue is Rs 204 crore.

Diseases

1. Myositis

• Myositis is a type of muscle inflammation. The body’s immune system attacks the muscle cells and destroys them, called myositis.
• This muscle inflammation can affect both men and women. Even more so, women in particular are slightly more likely to come. It is called Idiopathic Inflammatory Myositis (IIM) in the medical field.
• Types of myositis:-
• Inflammatory muscle disease with skin involvement (dermatomyositis).
• Cutaneous benign muscle inflammatory disease (polymyositis).
• The reason:-
• The medical world is still unable to determine the exact cause of myositis.
• It could be caused by some sort of viral infection, although that could not be confirmed.
• The disease is widespread throughout the world. Especially, the impact is more during cold and rainy season.
• Impact:-
• In the body, it is natural for old muscle tissue to die and new tissue to form. In patients with myositis, the immune response causes muscle inflammation and cell destruction.
• If this is not observed, normal life will be blocked. There is also a possibility that muscle cells may be permanently destroyed.
• Normally, the alimentary canal should be opened and the respiratory tract should be closed while eating.
• When the muscle is weak due to myositis, food is more likely to go up into the respiratory tract.
• If this happens, aspiration pneumonia may occur. It can be fatal at some point. Apart from this, people with dermatomyositis may rarely develop cancer.
• Symptoms:-
• fever; Physical fatigue; loss of appetite; swelling in the muscles; Difficulty in getting out of bed, sitting up, walking; Difficulty in swallowing food, drinking water.
• cough; shortness of breath; difficulty speaking; voice change; red rash on the skin; red rash on the breast; Pain in the muscles;
• Impact rate:-
• 22 out of 1 lakh can come

• Elon Musk bought Twitter last week. On the very first day, he fired five people, including Indian Barak Agrawal, who was the company’s chief executive officer.

  1. Puneeth Rajkumar – Karnataka Ratna Award

• Late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar was awarded the ‘Kannada Ratna’ by the Government of Kannada. Chief Minister Basavaraj presented the toy to his wife Ashwini
• Kannada actor Rajkumar’s son and actor Puneeth Rajkumar, last year in October. He died of a heart attack on the 29th at the age of 46.
• Actor Puneeth Rajkumar was awarded the prestigious ‘Kannataka Ratna’ award by the Government of Karnataka on the occasion of Kannada Udaya Day. Puneeth Rajkumar’s wife Ashwini presented the award to Chief Minister Basavaraj pommal.

Karnataka Ratna Award:-

• In 2009, Virendra Hegde was awarded the Kannada Ratna. Puneeth Rajkumar is the 9th person to receive this award since 1992.
• So far, former Chief Minister S. Nijalingappa, C. N. R. Rao, Bhimsen Joshi, Sivakumara Swamy, J. Javare Gowda have been given this award.

Death

   1. Death of freedom fighter martyr Vishwanath Das

• Odisha freedom struggle martyr Vishwanath Das passed away at the age of 106.
• He went to Ballyguda area in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha and participated in the freedom struggle by accepting the invitation of Mahatma Gandhi.
• He is also known as ‘Balikuda Gandhi’. He was honored by the former President Pranab Mukherjee in 2012 and received the President’s Award in 2020 on the occasion of the ‘Vellayanne veḷiyeṟu’movement protest day.
