- DS Chandrasekhar, Specialist in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, has been awarded the “Crystal” Award on behalf of the Gastroenterology Hospital of America. It has been reported that this award is given for outstanding service to the medical profession. This is the first time that a person from Tamil Nadu has received the highest award of the American Medical Association.
