- கனவு இல்லத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் ஆறு எழுத்தாளர்களுக்கு தமிழ்நாடு வீட்டுவசதி வாரியத்தின் அடுக்குமாடி குடியிருப்பில், குடியிருப்புக்கான ஒதுக்கீடு ஆணைகளை தமிழக முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் வழங்கினார். கலைஞரின் கலைஞரின் 99வது பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு நேற்று கனவு இல்லத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ், 2004ம் ஆண்டு “வணக்கம் வள்ளுவ” எனும் கவிதை நூலிற்காக சாகித்ய அகாதமி விருது மற்றும் 2018ம் ஆண்டு கலைஞர் மு.கருணாநிதி செம்மொழித் தமிழ் விருதினையும் பெற்ற செகதீசன் என்கிற ஈரோடு தமிழன்பன், 2009ம் ஆண்டில் “கையொப்பம்” எனும் கவிதை நூலிற்காக சாகித்ய அகாதமி விருது பெற்ற கவிஞர் புவியரசு என்கிற ஜகன்னாதன், தமிழ் இலக்கியப் பணிகளுக்காக 2012ம் ஆண்டு கலைஞர் மு.கருணாநிதி செம்மொழித் தமிழ் விருது பெற்ற முனைவர் இ. சுந்தரமூர்த்தி, 2014ம் ஆண்டு ஆண்டு “அஞ்ஞாடி“ எனும் புதினத்திற்காக சாகித்ய அகாதமி விருது பெற்ற பூமணி என்கிற பூ.மாணிக்கவாசகம், தமிழ் இலக்கியப் பணிகளுக்காக 2014ம் ஆண்டு கலைஞர் மு. கருணாநிதி செம்மொழித் தமிழ் விருது பெற்ற மோகனராசு, 2020ம் ஆண்டு “செல்லாத பணம்” எனும் புதினத்திற்காக சாகத்திய அகாதமி விருது பெற்ற இமையம் என்கிற அண்ணாமலை ஆகிய ஆறு எழுத்தாளர்களுக்கு தமிழக முதல்வர், தமிழ்நாடு வீட்டுவசதி வாரியத்தின் அடுக்குமாடி குடியிருப்பிற்கான ஒதுக்கீடு ஆணைகளை வழங்கினார்.
- ஆசிய பணக்காரர்கள் பட்டியலில் கெளதம் அதானியை பின்னுக்கு தள்ளி ரிலையன்ஸ் குழுமத்தின் தலைவர் முகேஷ் அம்பானி முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளார்.
- இணைய வழியில் இலவசமாக மருத்துவ ஆலோசனைகளை வழங்கும் இ-சஞ்சீவினி திட்டமும், ஆயுஷ்மான் பாரத் டிஜிட்டல் திட்டமும் இணைந்து செயல்படும் என்று தேசிய சுகாதார ஆணையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- மாநிலங்களவை உறுப்பினர் தேர்தலில் போட்டியிட்ட திமுக, அதிமுக, காங்கிரஸ் வேட்பாளர்கள் 6 பேரும் போட்டியின்றி தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டனர். திமுகவை சேர்ந்த சு.கல்யாணசுந்தரம், இரா.கிரிராஜன், கே.ஆர்.என்.ராஜேஷ்குமார், காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியைச் சேர்ந்த ப.சிதம்பரம், அதிமுகவைச் சேர்ந்த சி.வி.சண்முகம், ஆர்.தர்மர் ஆகியோர் போட்டியின்றி தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has issued allotment orders for housing in the flats of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board for six writers under the Dream Home project. Erode Tamilanban alias Sekadeesan, who won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2004 for his book of poetry “Vanakkam Valluva” and the M. Karunanidhi Classical Tamil Award in 2018 for his book “Vanakkam Valluva” on the occasion of the artist’s 99th birthday yesterday. Jagannathan alias Puviyarasu, an award-winning poet, is the recipient of the 2012 M. M. Karunanidhi Classical Tamil Award for his work in Tamil literature. Sundaramoorthy, Poomani Manikkavasakam, who won the Sahitya Akademi Award for his novel “Anjadi” in 2014, Mohanarasu, who won the M. Karunanidhi Classical Tamil Award in 2014 for his work on Tamil literature, and Annamalai, who won the Sahitya Akademi Award for his novel “Invalid Money” in 2020. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu issued allotment orders for the flats of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board to the six writers.
