1. தேவாங்கு சரணாலயம்

• இந்தியாவின் முதல் தேவாங்கு சரணாலயங்கள் திண்டுக்கல், கரூர் மாவட்டங்களில் 11,806 ஹெக்டேர் பரப்பில் அமைக்கப்படுகிறது என தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.
• தேவாங்கு இரவுநேர பாலூட்டி வகையைச் சேர்ந்தது. இதை பயிர்களுக்கு சேதம் உண்டாக்கும் பூச்சிகளை வேட்டையாடி விவசாயிகளுக்கு நன்மை செய்கிறது.
• இதனால் சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் நிலப்பரப்பு சுற்றுச்சூழல் அமைப்பில் தேவாங்குகள் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கின்றன.
• இயற்கை பாதுகாப்புக்கான சர்வதேச மையமானது தேவாங்கு அழிந்து வரும் இனங்களின் பட்டியலில் இணைத்துள்ளது.
• தேவாங்கைப் போன்று வேறு பல அழிந்து வரும் உயிரினங்களை காக்கவும் தமிழக அரசு நடவடிக்கை எடுத்துள்ளது.
• அதன்படி கடல் பசு பாதுகாப்பகம், கழுவேலி பறவைகள் சரணாலயம், அகத்தியர் மலை, யானைகள் பாதுகாப்பகம், திருப்பூர் சரணாலயம், 13 ஈரநில பகுதிகளை ராம் சார் சாசனப் பகுதிகளில் இடம்பெற செய்தது போன்ற நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுத்துள்ளதாக சுற்றுச்சூழல் காலநிலை மாற்றம் மற்றும் வனத்துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

2. எஸ்.ஆர்.எம் தமிழ் பேராயம் விருது

• எஸ்.ஆர்.எம் தமிழ் பேராயம் சார்பில் ‘பாரிவேந்தர் பைந்தமிழ் விருது‘ கவிஞரும், தமிழரிஞரமான பேராசிரியர் சிற்பி பாலசுப்பிரமணியத்துக்கு வழங்கப்படும் என்று தமிழ் பேராயம் நிறுவனர் டி.ஆர்.பாரிவேந்தர் கூறினார்.
• முன்னாள் நீதிபதி க.ஞானபிரகாசம் தலைமையிலான குழுவினர் ஆய்வு செய்து விருதாளர்களை தேர்வு செய்துள்ளனர்.

3. ‘குட்டி காவலர்‘ சாலை பாதுகாப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு திட்டம்

• ‘குட்டி காவலர்’ எனும் மாணவர்களுக்கான சாலை பாதுகாப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு திட்டத்தை முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் தொடக்கி வைத்தார்.
• தமிழ்நாடு அரசும், கோவையில் உயிர் அறக்கட்டளையும் இணைந்து இந்த சாலை பாதுகாப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு திட்டத்தை வடிவமைத்துள்ளன.
• இளம் பள்ளி குழந்தைகளுக்கு சாலை பாதுகாப்பு விழிப்புணர்வு பற்றி வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட பாடத் திட்டம் மூலம் விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்துவதும், அதன் மூலமாக அவர்களை சாலை பாதுகாப்பின் தூதுவர்களாக மாற்றுவதே ‘குட்டி காவலர்’ திட்டத்தின் நோக்கம் ஆகும்.
• ஆசிய சாதனை புத்தகம்:
• சாலை பாதுகாப்பு குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்த கோவையில் அதிக மாணவர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர்.
• மாணவர்கள் பங்கேற்ற இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியை ஆசிய சாதனை புத்தகத்தில் இடம் பெற்றது.

மத்திய செய்திகள்

1. சமையல் எரிவாயு இழப்பீட்டுக்கு மானியம்

• 2020 ஜூன் முதல் 2022 ஜூன் வரையில் சந்தை விலையை விட குறைவான விலையில் வீட்டு உபயோக சமையல் எரிவாயுவை விற்பனை செய்ததால் ஏற்பட்ட இழப்பை ஈடு செய்ய ஒருமுறை தொகையாக ரூபாய் 22,000 கோடி வழங்க மத்திய அரசு அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளது.
• இந்த தொகை ஐஒசி, பிபிசிஎல், எச்பிசிஎல் ஆகிய மூன்று பொதுத்துறை எண்ணெய் நிறுவனங்களுக்கு அளிக்கப்படும்.

2. தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப சட்டப்பிரிவு 66 ஏ வின் கீழ் வழக்குப் பதிய முடியாது

• 2000 ஆம் ஆண்டின் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பச் சட்டம் 66 ஏ பிரிவின் படி கணினி அல்லது தொலைத் தொடர்பு சாதனம் மூலம் ஆட்சியபத்துக்குரிய தகவலை வெளியிடும் நபருக்கு மூன்றாண்டுகள் வரை சிறை தண்டனை மற்றும் அபராதம் விதிக்க முடியும்.
• எனினும் கருத்து சுதந்திரத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை சுட்டிக்காட்டி எதையும் தெரிந்து கொள்ளும் பொது மக்களின் உரிமையை 66 ஏ பிரிவு நேரடியாக பாதிக்கிறது என கூறிய உச்சநீதிமன்றம் கடந்த 2015 ஆம் ஆண்டு அந்த பிரிவை ரத்து செய்தது.
• ஆனால் அந்த பிரிவின் கீழ் தொடர்ந்து வழக்குகள் பதிவு செய்யப்படுவதாக தன்னார்வ அமைப்பு ஒன்றின் சார்பில் உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தில் மனு தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• அந்த மனு உச்ச நீதிமன்ற தலைமை நீதிபதி யு.யு.லலித் தலைமையிலான அமர்வு முன்பாக விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது.
• அப்போது நீதிபதிகள் கூறுகையில் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பச் சட்டத்தின் ரத்து செய்யப்பட்ட 66 ஏ பிரிவின் கீழ் எந்த ஒரு நபர் மீது வழக்கு பதிவு செய்ய முடியாது.
• அந்த பிரிவை மீறி உள்ளதாக கூறப்படும் குற்றச்சாட்டின் கீழ் எந்தவொரு புகாரையும் பதிவு செய்ய வேண்டாம் என்று ஒட்டுமொத்த காவல்துறைக்கும் அறிவுறுத்த வேண்டும் என்று அனைத்து மாநிலங்களின் தலைமைச் செயலாளர்கள், டிஜிபிக்கள் மற்றும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களில் உள்ள சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அதிகாரிகளுக்கு உத்தரவிடப்படுகிறது.

3. எண்ணெய்-எரிவாயு : இந்தியா, அமெரிக்கா இடையே நான்கு ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையொப்பம்

• நான்காவதாக பிபிசிஎல் நிறுவனத்தின் கூட்டு நிறுவனமான இந்திர பிரஸ்தா எரிவாயு நிறுவனத்திற்கும், பக்கெர் ஹவுஸ் நிறுவனத்துக்கும் இடையே ஒப்பந்தம் கையொப்பம் ஆனது என்று தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

4. அகில இந்திய தரவரிசையில் தில்லி அரசு பள்ளிகள் முதலிடம்

• நாட்டில் மாநில அரசு பகல் நேர பள்ளிகளுக்கான தரவரிசையில் தில்லியில் உள்ள 2 பள்ளிகள் முதலிடத்தை பெற்றுள்ளதாக தில்லி முதல்வர் அரவிந்த் கெஜ்ரிவால் பெருமிதத்துடன் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
• இதற்காக கல்வி குழுவை அவர் பாராட்டினார்.
• கல்வியாளர்கள், ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் பெற்றோர்களுக்கான ‘உலக கல்வி‘ இணையதளம் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் பள்ளிகளுக்கான தரவரிசையை வெளியிட்டு வருகிறது.

• வளைகுடா நாடுகளில் ஒன்றான குவைத் நாட்டுக்கான புதிய இந்திய தூதராக வெளியுறவு பணி மூத்த அதிகாரி ஆதர்ஷ் ஸ்வைகா நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்.

6. சர்வீசஸ் சாம்பியன்; தமிழகம் ஐந்தாம் இடம்

• குஜராத்தில் நடைபெற்று வந்த 36 ஆவது தேசிய விளையாட்டு போட்டிகள் நிறைவடைந்தன.
• இப்போட்டியில் தொடர்ந்து நான்காவது முறையாக சர்வீசஸ் அணி ஒட்டுமொத்த சாம்பியன் பட்டம் வென்றது.
• தமிழகம் ஐந்தாம் இடம் பிடித்தது.
• ஏழாண்டுகளுக்கு பிறந்த பிறகு நடத்தப்பட்ட இந்த போட்டிகளில் சுமார் 8000 பேர் பங்கேற்றனர்.
• கேரளத்தைச் சேர்ந்த நீச்சல் வீரர் சஜன் பிரகாஷ் போட்டியில் 5 தங்கம், இரண்டு வெள்ளி, 1 வெண்கலம் என மொத்தமாக எட்டு பதக்கங்கள் வென்று சிறந்த வீரராக தேர்வானார்.
• கர்நாடக நீச்சல் வீராங்கனை ஆஷிகா ராமச்சந்திரா ஆறு தங்கம், 1 வெண்கலத்துடன் போட்டியிலேயே சிறந்த வீராங்கனையாக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார்.

1. Devang Sanctuary

• The Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that India’s first Devang sanctuaries will be established in Dindigul and Karur districts on an area of ​​11,806 hectares.

• Thus devangs play an important role in ecological and terrestrial ecosystem.

2. SRM Tamil Barayam Award

3. ‘Little Guard’ Road Safety Awareness Programme

• Chief Minister M.K.Stalin started a road safety awareness program for students called ‘Kuti Kavald’.
• Government of Tamil Nadu and Coimbatore Life Trust have jointly designed this road safety awareness programme.
• The objective of the ‘Kuti Kavad’ program is to sensitize young school children about road safety awareness through a tailored curriculum and thereby make them ambassadors of road safety.
• Asian Book of Records:
• More students participated in Coimbatore to create awareness about road safety.
• This event in which the students took part was included in the Asian Book of Records.

Central News

1. Subsidy for gas cooking compensation

• The central government has sanctioned a one-time payment of Rs 22,000 crore from June 2020 to June 2022 to cover losses incurred due to sale of domestic cooking gas at prices below the market price.
• This amount will be given to three public sector oil companies namely IOC, PPCL and HBCL.

2. No case can be filed under Section 66A of the IT Act

• Section 66A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 provides for imprisonment of up to three years and fine for any person who discloses illegal information through a computer or telecommunication device.
• However, pointing out the importance of freedom of expression, the Supreme Court said that Section 66A directly affects the right of the general public to know anything and canceled that section in 2015.
• But a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of a voluntary organization that continues to register cases under that section.
• The petition came up for hearing before a bench headed by Chief Justice U.U. Lalit.
• Then the judges said that no case can be registered against any person under the repealed Section 66A of the Information Technology Act.
• Chief Secretaries of all States, DGPs and concerned officers in Union Territories are directed to instruct the entire police force not to register any complaint under the alleged violation of that section.

3. Oil-Gas : Four agreements between India, USA Signature

• Four major oil and gas deals were signed between the two countries, demonstrating how India and the US can harness the power of the private sector to address climate action and energy security issues.
• In this, an agreement was signed between Indian Oil Company and Lanza Tech, an American biotech company, which is an international leader in gas fermentation technology.
• The agreement was signed to produce sustainable aviation gas through Lanza Jet’s patented technology.
• An agreement was entered into between Cave Company’s joint venture company, Avantika Gas Company, to provide solutions for measurement and reduction of vehicle emissions.
• Similarly MoU has been signed between Engineer India Company and UOP Company of America.
• Fourthly, an agreement has been signed between BPCL’s joint venture Indra Prastha Gas Company and Baker House Company.

4. Delhi Government Schools top in All India Ranking

• Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has proudly mentioned that 2 schools in Delhi have topped the ranking of state government day schools in the country.
• He praised the Education Committee for this.
• The ‘World Education’ website for educators, teachers and parents publishes the ranking of schools every year.

7. Meta in list of terrorist organizations

• Russia has taken steps to include Meta in the list of terrorist organizations.
• Facebook, Instagram’s parent company Meta America, has announced that it will be able to publish controversial posts on Facebook and Instagram, such as the death of Russian invaders in the war against Ukraine.
• The announcement was followed by a Moscow court banning Facebook and Instagram in Russia.
• In this context, Russia’s financial watchdog ‘Rosfin Monitoring’ has added Meta to the list of organizations involved in extremism and terrorism.
