- இயற்கை ஆர்வலரும் விலங்குகளின் தெய்வமாக மதிக்கப்படுபவருமான பிரான்சிஸ் அசிசி என்பவரின் வணக்க நிகழ்வு அக்டோபர் 4 இல் வருவதால் இந்நாள் வன விலங்கு நாளாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

1. விமானப்படையில் உள்நாட்டு ஹெலிகாப்டர்கள்
- உள்நாட்டிலேயே தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட நான்கு இலகு ரக தாக்குதல் ஹெலிகாப்டர்களை விமானப்படையில் இணைக்கும் நிகழ்ச்சி நடைபெற்றது.
- பாகிஸ்தானுடனான 1999 கார்கில் போருக்கு பிறகு ஏற்பட்ட தேவை காரணமாக இலகுரக ஹெலிகாப்டர்களை உள்நாட்டிலேயே தயாரிக்க மத்திய அரசு முடிவெடுத்தது.
- அதனை அடுத்து ஹிந்துஸ்தான் ஏரோநாட்டிக்ஸ் நிறுவனம் (ஹெச்ஏஎல்) இந்த ஹெலிகாப்டர்களை தயாரித்துள்ளது.
- ஒவ்வொன்றும் 5.8 டன் கொண்ட இந்த ஹெலிகாப்டர்கள் வானில் உள்ள இலக்குகளை தாக்கி அழிக்கும் வல்லமை கொண்டவை.
- இந்த இலகு ரக ஹெலிகாப்டர்களுக்கு ‘பிரசண்ட்‘ என அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் பெயரிட்டார்.
- ஹெச்ஏஎல் நிறுவனத்திடம் இருந்து இவ்வகையைச் சேர்ந்த 10 ஹெலிகாப்டர்களை வாங்குவதற்கு இந்திய விமானப்படை ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளது.
- தற்போது முதல் கட்டமாக நான்கு ஹெலிகாப்டர்கள் படையில் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
2. ஸ்வீடன் விஞ்ஞானிக்கு நோபல் பரிசு
- மனித சமூகத்தின் பரிணாமம் தொடர்பான ஆராய்ச்சிக்காக ஸ்வீடன் விஞ்ஞானி ஸ்வான்டே பாபோவுக்கு நோபல் பரிசு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- நடப்பாண்டு மருத்துவத்துக்கான நோபல் பரிசு தொடர்பான அறிவிப்பை தேர்வு குழு செயலாளர் தாமஸ் பெர்ல்மான் ஸ்வீடனின் ஸ்டாக் ஹோம் நகரில் அறிவித்தார்.
- மனிதர்களின் பரிணாமம் தொடர்பாக ஆய்வுகளை மேற்கொண்டதற்காக ஸ்வீடன் விஞ்ஞானியான ஸ்வாண்டே பாபோவுக்கு நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட உள்ளதாக அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
- மனிதர்களின் பரிணாமம் குறித்து தீவிர ஆய்வுகளை மேற்கொண்ட பாபோ, நவீன மனிதர்களின் மரபணுக்களின் தொகுதியை (ஜீனோம்), மனிதர்களின் முந்தைய பரிணாமமான நியாண்டர்தால், டெனிசோவன் ஆகியவற்றின் மரபணு தொகுதிகளுடன் ஒப்பிட்டு பல்வேறு ஆராய்ச்சிகளை மேற்கொண்டார்.
- நியாண்டர்தால், டெனிசோவன் ஆகிய இனக்குழுக்கள் இணைந்தே மனித இனம் உருவானதாக தனது ஆய்வின் மூலமாக அவர் கண்டறிந்து தெரிவித்தார்.
- முந்தைய இன குழுக்களில் இருந்து மனிதர்களின் இனக்குழு தனித்துவமானது என்ற அவரின் கண்டுபிடிப்பால் மனிதர்களின் நோய் எதிர்ப்பு மண்டலம் குறித்து அதிக தகவல்கள் தெரிய வந்ததாக நோபல் தேர்வு குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

3. பிரதம மந்திரி வீடு கட்டும் திட்டம்: ரூபாய் 912 கோடி ஒதுக்கீடு
- பிரதம மந்திரியின் வீடு கட்டும் திட்டத்துக்காக ரூபாய் 912 கோடி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- மத்திய அரசு சார்பில் ரூபாய் 547 கோடியும் மாநில அரசின் பங்காக ரூபாய் 365 கோடியும் ரூபாயும் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக அரசாணையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- நாடு முழுவதும் குடிசைகளை அகற்றிவிட்டு அனைவருக்கும் கான்கிரீட் வீடுகள் கட்டிக் கொடுக்கும் வகையில் பிரதம மந்திரி வீடு கட்டும் திட்டம் 2015 ஆம் ஆண்டு தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
- இந்த திட்டத்தின் கீழ் தகுதியான பயனாளிகளை தேர்வு செய்து கான்கிரீட் வீடுகள் கட்டுவதற்காக மத்திய மாநில அரசுகள் சார்பில் நிதி ஒதுக்கப்படுகிறது.
- பிரதம மந்திரி வீடு கட்டும் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் விண்ணப்பிக்கும் பயனாளிகளுக்கு வீடு கட்டுவதற்காக ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டுக்கும் தலா ₹2.75 லட்சம் மானியம் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
- மத்திய அரசு அறுபது சதவீதம் நிதியை ஒதுக்கும் நிலையில் மீதமுள்ள 40 சதவீதத்தை மாநில அரசு வழங்கி வருகிறது.

1. Domestic Helicopters in the Air Force
- Induction of four indigenously produced light attack helicopters into the Air Force was held.
- Central government decided to indigenously manufacture light helicopters due to demand after 1999 Kargil war with Pakistan.
- After that, Hindustan Aeronautics Company (HAL) has manufactured these helicopters.
- Weighing 5.8 tonnes each, these helicopters are capable of engaging and destroying aerial targets.
- Minister Rajnath Singh named these light helicopters as ‘Present‘.
- The Indian Air Force has signed an agreement to purchase 10 helicopters of this type from HAL.
- At present four helicopters have been inducted into the force in the first phase.
2. Nobel Prize to Swedish Scientist
- Swedish scientist Svante Pabo has been awarded the Nobel Prize for his research on the evolution of human society.
- The announcement regarding this year’s Nobel Prize in Medicine was made by Selection Committee Secretary Thomas Perlman in Stockholm, Sweden.
- He informed that Swedish scientist Svante Pabo will be awarded the Nobel Prize for his research on human evolution.
- Pabo, who carried out intensive studies on the evolution of humans, compared the genome of modern humans with the genomes of Neanderthals and Denisovans, the earlier evolution of humans.
- Through his research, he discovered that the human race was formed by the Neanderthal and Denisovan ethnic groups.
- His discovery that the human race is unique from previous race groups has revealed more information about the human immune system, the Nobel selection committee said.

3. Prime Minister House Construction Scheme: Allocation of Rs 912 Crores
- Rs 912 crore has been earmarked for the Prime Minister’s house construction project.
- According to the decree, Rs 547 crores have been allocated on behalf of the central government and Rs 365 crores as the state government’s share.
- The Prime Minister’s Housing Project was launched in 2015 to demolish slums and build concrete houses for all.
- Under this scheme, funds are allocated on behalf of Central and State Governments to select eligible beneficiaries and construct concrete houses.
- Beneficiaries who apply under the Prime Minister’s House Building Scheme are given a subsidy of ₹2.75 lakh each for building houses.
- While the central government allocates sixty percent of the funds, the remaining 40 percent is provided by the state government.
